Fried shrimp, sweet potato, and tater sauce.

This location is a small place with maybe about 10 to 12 tables. It is kind of rustic. The service is good. We came in late - they close at 10pm. We ordered fried shrimp, fried fish, loaded baked potatoes, hushpuppies, and coleslaw. There are other choices like oysters, clams, French fries, sweet potatoes and salad. All dishes come with tartar or cocktail sauce, crackers, and the slaw is in little containers on the table in a basket. Food is cooked to order and served hot. Nice portions. I had about 16 shrimp. Too many to eat at one time. I would return when in town. Good food, quick service.

A local staple with fresh seafood. I haven't been here in a long while and then my coworker asked to go. We had the grouper bites To Go. And I've been back several times since! Food is fresh, fast, and filling! The decor is not super fancy, but it is hometown cozy. Everyone is friendly. Today, I went with my Mom and Auntie for brunch. We started with fried mushrooms (Be careful, they're hot! Cut them open first to let the heat out. Haha - don't learn the hard way, like me. Hehe) We tried the trigger fish (catch of the day), the snapper fingers, and the grouper bites. Comparing the fish, they were all delicious. Also had the special (Wed) of $9 oysters dozen. SO fresh! And a bowl of clam chowder. If you've never been, stop on in. All these "regular locals" can't be wrong.

    Fabulous greens.

Great meal as 90% of the time. Oysters for hubby and New England clam chowder for me/ yummy! Hub got stuffed grouper. I got shrimp and trigger fish and it was great!! Great greens and sweet potato and the service is always good! It's truly legend in Jax!! Love SK and it's very consistent!!

Ambience was very cute, we went after the beach so it was a great vibe. Very packed but to be expected. Service was really good especially because it was so packed. Now the food was amazing, I don't have seafood much so arguably one of the best seafood I have ever had

Seeing Causa on the menu brought me right back to living in Miami & ordering it at a small cafeteria near the Peruvian embassy. So enjoying it again at Sr Ceviche after more than fifteen years brought a smile to my face. I also have to compliment the service which was extremely friendly and prompt. I'll get the ceviche next visit. I ordered the Causa de Pollo- layers of mashed yellow potatoes, shredded chicken, avocado, pink sauce, topped with a boiled egg. It is on the appetizer menu so it is smaller than an entree. I also enjoyed the complimentary cancha (corn nuts) provided.

We also ordered my daughter in law fish and chips to go. I love their pretzels with mustard and cheese sauce. They are made by a local bakery. The curry dish is really good, but spicy, which I knew but just know. My son agreed the fish and chips was really good. The only disappointment was the kids Mac and cheese is straight up blue box Mac and cheese for $8, plus an up charge for both the chocolate milk and a side of ranch. We will go back but I think I'll get my granddaughter to try another kids dish.

We all started off with our own wine flight and I think we all got the Whites of the World one, which was delicious!! I split one with my friend, which was a good amount for us, but you could definitely order your own too. For appetizers, we got the specials burrata and Brussels sprouts. Both were amazinggggg but the best was the Brussels sprouts. I always thought I didn't like them but after eating these I found out I do! That sauce is amazing. For my entree, I got the chimichurri steak. It had great flavor, but was a little cold. I guess I didn't get any pics of dessert because it was just that good but we got the sticky toffee cake and I'm still dreaming about it!! So delicious!! Our waiter, Jonathan, was so sweet, and already split the items we split on the bill for our group like dessert without us asking and very knowledgeable of the menu especially different wines. Will definitely be back!

We were able to choose if we wanted to be seated outside or inside so that was nice as well. We chose to be seated outside upstairs. I was a little nervous at first but it was cool, not too hot and I noticed they had fans that could be turned on if it was too hot outside. So that was nice. It was a chill night, not crowded at the top so everyone was able to just talk and we didnt have to yell to hear one another. For drinks, we ordered a few. We had the V.I.P. Old-Fashioned, Paper Planes, and a watermelon based drink. Each one was tasty but the Paper Plane would be my least favorite. We had the shrimp Diablo for the appetizer. This is definitely a must get. Everything blended well together and the flavors were just really good. For food we ordered the hanger steak, a ribeye, risotto, mashed potatoes and the crab macaroni and cheese. The ribeye has more flavor than the hanger but the hanger was still good. The risotto and the mashed potatoes were very flavorful and just comforting to eat. The crab macaroni and cheese was my least favorite. There were a few shells in it and the flavor of the crab did not pair well with the macaroni and cheese. I would give this place another visit.
