    Yada-yada woopty-woop

In my single days, I would be in here sticking and moving, working the room, talking to pretty girls yada-yada woopty-woop....But in a much more real sense I would be standing in the corner with my tequila soda high and tight in my right hand whispering to my homie, "Damn she's bad..." Now in my Big Mono(gamy) days, I pop in here once every few months with friends as it is a fun place to come, have a couple drinks, play pool, and enjoy the lively 70s ambiance that Flower Shop provides. I feel like people take themselves way less seriously here than many other places in the city, and I largely think that's due to the 70s vibe. It's just good energy. My only gripe is that they close at 2am, where sometimes I feel like the night is really starting to hit its stride and the lights come on smh. Everyone loves coming to Flower Shop, whether they want to admit it or not... although I need to give a disclaimer. If he wears Flower Shop merch, he is bad news, Sis. The Flower Shop hoodie is a no no. Big red flag. Keep looking. -BIG MONO! IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

The Flower Shop is a go to spot if mine, the vibes are always right! We had some great dishes the fish and chips, the meat pie, the steak sandwich, and the disco fries. The standout was the steak sandwich with thinly sliced steak that pretty much melts in your mouth. Service was top notch as well

Realllllllly cute spot. I've been seeing this place all over ig so I had to give it a go and decided to do so on my bday! I went with a couple of my friends and was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is super young and hip but not like Hotel Chantelle or DL. This crowd seemed cool but not annoying. But it was pretty loud and hectic since half the room was dining and half the room was crowding around the bar. But, cool nevertheless. The food took me by surprise. I thought since this place is cool and hip the food would be alright and you mostly go for the ambiance. However I was shocked that it was pretty good! It wasn't over the top and it definitely wasn't just "bar food". I will say it was a tad bit salty but again, can't complain. We had the spaghetti, burger, fish & chips, and the artichoke?spinach? dip. All pretty impressive. I was scared that the food would take forever to come out since it was so hectic and busy but the workers kept it moving!!! Hats off! The drinks were REALLY strong. Again, no complaints. Pretty standard otherwise. Cute vibes, crowd and food! Would definitely revisit.

    Maitake Mushroom Rigatoni

My friend wanted to treat us to this place and at first I was a little reluctant as it seemed kind of divey but I'm glad I came. During happy hour the oysters were $1.50 each which was a wonderful deal. I ended up ordering the maitake mushroom rigatoni which was really delicious. It had cherry tomatoes and basil. The cherry tomatoes were really sweet and juicy. The pasta was full of flavor and I liked that there was already chili flakes and cheese ontop. Theres a cute little bar in the basement floor which was so cute! It literally looked like someones basement with a bunch of couches, a pool table, and a photobooth. It had a really cute charm to it! I'm even kind of reluctant to give a good review because maybe this is a place to gatekeep lol

Got the fried chicken and the cauliflower steak. The fried chicken was honesty really good, one of the better ones I've had in the city. I would rate it as better than sweet chick, which many people rave about. The white meat is super moist and the skin is crispy and feels a little fatty when you get to the layer that's touching the meat. The cauliflower was a dish I don't normally get, but wanted something different. It looks meh since it was just on a bed of farro (I guess there's an egg on top but everyone does it these days). What stood out was the sauce that the farro was resting on...that acidity really helped give the dish life. Taking an otherwise boring dish and really gave it a punch. My thing about this place....it's expensive (those two dishes was over $50) and our cauliflower came out cold...when asked the waiter "hey is this normally a cold dish", he really brushed it off and didn't try to correct it. For that reason, I can't rate this place highly.

The food here is SO GOOD I was so surprised. I loved the Brussels sprouts and the pasta. My friend got the salmon and loved it. After eating we went downstairs to the free photo booth and had so much fun, played pool, etc. I really like it here. Service is great as well.

Seeing the reviews I had high expectation of here. We had the spaghetti, fries, wings, drinks and a other things. And everything was very mediocre. Not that good. Pretty disappointed with the food and drinks. Ambiance is good. Service was great!

A 70s-themed bar seemed like a pretty groovy (sorry, had to) place to spend a Thursday night. The Flower Shop piqued my interest from its rave reviews and interior decor. We were able to walk in and snag an indoor table quite easily. Having perused the menu the night before, I was pretty set on having the buttermilk fried chicken. My friend ended up getting the Bucatini with meatballs. The buttermilk chicken was fan-freaking-tastic. Crispy on the outside, juicy and tasty on the inside. It came with some spicy honey but honestly I just wanted to enjoy the magic of the chicken on its own. My friend really enjoyed his Bucatini as well, and couldn't even finish it due to the generous portion. They have a very small cocktail menu (I think consisting of only 4 drinks) and a pretty limited beer menu as well. I tried the Pirate Rose and the Spanky which were both very tangy in taste. These didn't seem like they were worth 13-14 dollars each, as they were on the simpler side. It's probably best sticking to beer or cider here. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. It did get very busy towards the end of our stay so naturally she had more patrons to tend to but nevertheless we didn't have any issues finding her. When we got ready to leave, the tables started freeing up and the bar started getting PACKED. It was strange but nice seeing a crowded bar again. 4.5 rounded to a 5. I would definitely return!

*4.5/5 Thank you Bumble for yet another stellar event -- The Flower Shop was even more generous than sister restaurant Little Ways, as my friend and I nabbed a free drink and app each! Talk about smart marketing. I got a vodka (diet) coke; it tasted like a vodka coke, just infinitely smoother than the ones I used to down in college. My friend had the "best vodka cran" she's had in her life, so high praise all around. For apps, we split the chicken wings and brussel sprouts, as well as an additional side of fries. The chef must have been very into ~sour~ as a flavor bc both the wing sauce and the sprouts were decently acidic. Not a bad thing; both apps were very decent (and also very free). The fries were... aight. Of all the fries I've had in my 21 years of life, The Flower Shop fries sit squarely in the 50th percentile. Interior was a vibe! The basement had an animal print pool table, chalkboard decor, a TV that was airing Akira, and was packed like sardines later in the night. We ended up staying upstairs at the bar, and the bartender was a p chill lady. Overall solid experience. If someone took you on a date here, you'd know they'd at least be kinda fun.

Happy hour prices here are phenomenal if you want beer/wine and some shared plates! Everything we had was super yummy ... especially the wings... we had to get another order. Excited there is outdoor seating too to enjoy for the spring and summer!

Very chill and good vibe! Drinks are super affordable for the city - $10-13 the bartenders put in work hehe the place is super aesthetically pleasing. The pool games are where it's at but sadly only one pool table. Don't really know if dancing happens here but it would be possible if they put music to dance to. Definitely would come back. I liked the oysters, I liked the vibe, the Buffalo wings were apparently amazing too. There was no line to get in and the party's downstairs hehe

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with champagne, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. Our server, Daniel, was beyond amazing. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary meaningful. It never felt forced just thoughtful, polished hospitality. The team went above and beyond when we brought our wedding cake (which had been frozen for a year). Not only did they accommodate it without hesitation, they helped decorate and present it beautifully you would have thought it had been baked that same day. It was such a touching moment for us, and they handled it with care and enthusiasm. As for the food: incredible. The steak tartare was perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The tuna was fresh and vibrant. And the Beef Wellington... honestly one of the best I've had in New York City. Perfectly cooked, rich, elegant, and absolutely worthy of a celebration dinner. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: romantic, warm, refined but relaxed. It felt special without being stiff. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, this is it.
