This is such a cute and cozy cocktail bar! While we didn't go downstairs to where the music was bumping (next time), the upstairs is a nice intimate space to enjoy delicious cocktails. There were all made well and had a good kick. It was nice they opened the windows and door to let the breeze in too. Our server was super friendly - loved this spot.

TLDR: Great drinks, vibes, and stylish decor. I can see myself being a regular here! We were looking for a bar at 3:00AM not expecting much. So glad we walked into Two Doors Down! It was pretty cute, dimly lit, and it was open until 4. I was expecting just beers on taps or classic cocktails but I was surprised to see there were craft cocktails on the menu this late. I'm a sucker for clarified drinks, especially with coconut so I was pretty thrilled about the Flora Dora. One of my favorite drinks I've had in the city. Also got a Lychee martini and it was super lychee forward. I've had several iterations of lychee martinis and this might be my favorite. Service was super quick, but I did come at 3AM when there weren't many other people and all the staff I interacted with were great. Overall: can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Stopped by to grab a few drinks on a Thursday night and surprisingly, it wasn't busy at all. We stuck with cocktails, and I got an old fashioned which the bartender said it's the same as the fashionista. The cocktail was on the sweeter side but still enjoyed it. The bar is pretty intimate and would be a good date spot when it's not busy (I think most people there were coupled up).

Super Friday night vibey cocktail bar! There's something for everyone. We didn't check out the dance floor but from where we were sitting, it was really enjoyable to listen to the music and unwind. It would be amazing if this was in our neighborhood so we could be regulars but will have to settle for visiting every so often.

Really nice bar with delicious drinks. Staff were friendly but the "DJ" was a little much. We had an entire work group come to mingle and drink which the staff were aware of. The DJ continuously kept raising the volume even after many of us asked to turn it down. We ended up having to leave to another bar. They lost out on another 2 round of drinks which consisted of 20 people.

Nice casual cocktail bar for a chill night. Pretty good vibes and I liked the coconut clarified drink.

Wanted to get a drink at another bar but there was a line and my thirst will not seize to be quenched by silly humans waiting in line so we went to this place around the corner. At first no one was in there, I guess we were early, but soon it filled up like crazy. The playlist was awesome. The bartender was from the Bay Area and he was super friendly but cool and well let's get down to business... what I thought would be one martini turned into another. It was nice and strong, how I like it! Had a nice time here.

Had a quiet and chill evening at TDD on a Thursday night. All of our 4 drinks were great and reasonably priced. Our bartender was kind and left us alone which is either good or bad depending on what you're looking for. I was so grateful they had coat hangers underneath the bar and I thought the place was very cozy and well decorated. Bill was about $70 for 4 drinks which wasn't bad. There's a downstairs dance area but we didn't go since it was closed off for an event. I would definitely stop by again.

    - overall rating: 4.5 - not overly crowded, even on a friday evening, tho personally, I'd recommend going on a chill weeknight for post work drinks - really well balanced cocktails, I'm not much of a cocktail person (I live in fear of clawingly sweet cocktails and always ask for the "least sweet" on the menu) but most have impressed me - reasonably priced for the quality, $14-16 for cocktails, $8-9 for beers, wine is on the pricier end at around $15-18 a glass - personable bartenders - there's a downstairs dancey space but I haven't tried it yet, starts at 10pm - none of the staff, instagram, or site was able to tell me what kind of music to expect downstairs which made trying to plan an event there a pain - there's also a DJ on the main floor but they change day to day, so also no way to know what to expect, the last time I was there the music was all over the place - gary from accounts: the flavor of beeswax/pine didn't come thru, sounds interesting but more novelty than anything, it's just a smooth whiskey (would still recommend if you enjoy whiskey), smells a bit like maple syrup - back to school: citrus forward, the apple and snap pea didn't come thru, but still a tasty cocktail tho flavor execution wasn't as complex as it read on the menu - recommend: house guinness punch; wasn't a fan of the toasted marshmellow garnish but otherwise really appreciated the flavor profile; flora dora, the giant ice cube makes it a little cumbersome to drink but I don't have any notes about the cocktail itself, no notes just vibes; personally wouldn't order the lychee martini for myself but I tried my friend's and this is the best lychee martini I've ever tried (not too sweet, well balanced); daisy picker and two doors margarita get honorable mentions, they both taste like margaritas to me (one frozen) and they're both good but there are so many more interesting things to try

The ambiance feels straight of the golden age, which is an aesthetic I'm certainly a sucker for. Even their robust cocktail menu fits the bill and is one of the prettiest menus I've ever had the joy of perusing. Staff was able to sit us a little bit ahead of our reservation which was also much appreciated. Wait staff was also very helpful and attentive, I don't think I've ever had my water glass so topped off! Starting off with cocktails, this place is a gin bar through and through and you'd be making a mistake if you didn't try one of their many options. I went with the 10,000 words, which you simply just give a spirit of your choice (I picked gin of course) and whether you antes) wanted your drink shaken or stirred and the bartender does the rest, so a bit of a surprise! I wound up with their version of The Last Word which was delightfully citrusy but I was hoping I'd wind up with something a little more adventurous app things considered. My girlfriend got the blackberry G&T, which was not only very pleasing to look at but delicious to boot. For food, we started with splitting some zucchini blossoms and beef cheek bao buns (both come in portions of 3). Both were tasty, but I love a good bao bun and these were so light and pillowy, I could have just went for an order of those for my main course. For the entree I went for the roasted half chicken, perhaps the most unassuming choice on the menu but this was maybe the best roast chicken I've ever had. Prepared perfectly, cooked to perfection, excellent portion size, and the kicker of it all was the stunning gravy that I was tempted to lick my plate for. Chicken is very easy to screw up, and they nailed it on all fronts here. My girlfriend went for the Valerie Signature burger with white cheddar and this thing did not mess around! A very rich patty, cooked to her temperature of choice served alongside some garlic truffle fries that made an American classic feel just a little more elevated. Our experience was delightful and I'd love to comeback here again, especially to check out more of the cocktail menu and soak in more of that golden age aura the place gives.

The chicken cutlet and chicken dumplings were fine but I probably wouldn't order them again. The wait staff weren't super attentive nor super warm, but they were efficient when we asked for water refills, etc. There was ample standing room at the bar while we waited for our friends, but the table/booth that we sat at was super narrow, I was knocking knees with my friend all night and generally felt squished.

Calling him a bartender almost feels like an understatement--he's a true cocktail craftsman. I was amazed watching him create drinks based simply on a few words or flavors we mentioned. It felt less like ordering a cocktail and more like collaborating on one. Of course, he also nailed the classics. The Clover Club and Gimlet were both perfectly executed, and my husband tried three different whiskey cocktails throughout the evening and loved every single one. The atmosphere is exactly what you hope for from a speakeasy: dark, intimate, and unassuming. The space is small, which adds to the experience, although the bar stools are definitely not designed for settling in for a three-hour hang (my only minor complaint). But honestly, that probably helps keep the experience moving and allows more people to enjoy this special spot. Attaboy is a great example of why NYC has such a legendary cocktail scene.
