The hangover was good, the only complaint was that my biscuit was tuff and didn't taste fresh. But the rest was a beautiful thing !

We went to The Funky Brunch Cafe , for breakfast and it was a nice place and pretty good food.

The food was delicious and there are tables with griddles to make your own pancakes, which is pretty cool. The atmosphere is very bright, which may be an issue for those with hangovers. Lol Knocking off a star because our server is very unfriendly. She's all business, not smiling or saying good morning or asking how our day is going, nothing. With that said, I would come here again and hope someone else would serve us.

To start our waitress was AWESOME! She was so sweet and she kept calling me "baby" and it just made me smile. She was the definition of southern hospitality. The food was great. We had a group of 6 and everyone loved their food. My only complaint was a wind chime attached to a busy door which drove us all crazy because it was nonstop. Highly recommend this cafe though.

The inside of the restaurant is very eclectic, it's got an older hippie vibe to it with lots of faded colors. The server we had was pretty good, checking in on us frequently and he gave us good recommendations. For breakfast, we got a hot table, and some of the pancake batter so we can make our own pancakes, because that's awesome! Don't get me wrong; you take me to the grocery store and do I want to bag my own groceries? no. But cook our own pancakes, seems fun with your kid. The pancakes were good, and getting to see the art my daughter came up with was awesome. I got the black and blue sea grits, and they were pretty good. I thought there were some patches of grits that were pretty plain. Maybe if I'd have gotten some extra sauce, I could've mixed that in better so it wasn't bland at any point. A fun restaurant and worth the experience if you're gonna make your own pancakes.

It's one of our favorite downtown breakfast spots, and we only get the build your own breakfast sandwich with a biscuit. Never misses. Customer service always good and it's in the part of Broughton that's easier for parking.

Flavor was amazing and Trinity our server was super nice to the band. Down south vibes and the biscuit is sooo fluffy and full of goodness.

Enjoyed the sandwiches. Classic BLT and Turkey Reuben. Both great. Enjoyed sitting outside and watching passerby's

My mother and I decided to stop in for breakfast during our girls trip to Savannah. It wasn't crowded and doesn't look like much from the outside, but this was the best breakfast we had during our trip! We both have strict gluten free diets and this place had tons of options! I ordered "the traitor" and substituted the biscuit for gluten free bread. The poached eggs and hollandaise sauce were the best I've ever had! I'd rate my breakfast a 10/10. My mother ordered "the clucker and the hen house" and she said it was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly and the hash browns were well seasoned. On top of the food being great, the service was top notch as well! We will definitely be back!

I decided to dine at The Funky Brunch Café in Savannah since it was conveniently located near where I was staying on Broughton Street. I saw the griddles at many of the tables and loved the unique concept of making your own pancakes at the table, so, on the recommendation of our server, Kenya J., I ordered the Flippin' Funky at the Table. Of course, I couldn't stop at just pancakes and I added a single sunny-side-up egg to round out the meal. A cup of freshly squeezed orange juice paired perfectly with everything. Lots of families at the restaurant and despite it being a busy Sunday morning and getting busier and busier, Kenya was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. Cute place - the prices were reasonable, and both the food and the experience were memorable. Five stars - I'd definitely return!

What a fun and tasty breakfast!! Nice outdoor patio and cool inside space too. We tried Toast yesterday and this place has Better food and way better prices! If you're trying to decide choose this spot! Gigi was very helpful and nice!

One night stay in Savannah so was looking for a spot for breakfast before hitting the road. I came across The Funky Brunch Cafe so decided to check it out. I got there just before 9am and it was still pretty empty. The hostess was seating the couple in front of me and saw I was alone and just said you go sit at the bar. I followed them in and asked if that was my only option. She asked what? And I asked if solos had to sit at the bar. There were only about 4 tables with people at them so it wasn't like they were hurting for tables; another lady overheard and said he can have a table. I was seated and got a polite server pretty quickly. After asking for recommendations, I settled on the Hangover. This was a bowl of hash browns with bacon, cheese, 2 eggs, topped with sausage gravy. Then you get a choice of toast or biscuit. The biscuit was very fluffy and tasted great. I was a bit confused about a strange taste in the meal however. There wasn't much if any seasoning but salt & pepper were on the table so that was fine. But there was an odd aftertaste from the gravy. It was almost like an anise/licorice aftertaste so it took away from me loving the dish. I noticed some of the tables had griddles inset in them and saw a family making their own pancakes. That's a fun experience but wasn't offered as an option for me, which was ok. I'd consider going back on a future trip, but there are plenty of other choices to consider as well.

Omg! In Savannah you have to dine here! Best ambiance and service. Stepped outside of my comfort zone ordered the salmon, eggs, cream cheese and capers omlet explosion of flavor best food in forever. My cousin had the Poisidieon Salad out of this world. Drowned with a carafe of peach mimosas.

Came here on a Saturday for brunch around 11:30am. We were greeted and added our name to the list and was seated within 20 min. (The hostess did not seem to want to be there sadly, and that was my first impression). Luckily our waitress was a breath of fresh air on that cloudy morning. We got a mimosa carafe to share, and then I ordered the veggie omelet with the pancake as my side. Unfortunately, the food wasn't any better than iHop and the portions left much to be desired. The omelet didn't have any seasoning and the pancake was pretty blah. Overall, it was just okay.

I got their chicken sandwich, while the rest of my family got the Dubai chocolate French toast, Bubble and squeak. My grilled chicken sandwich had a vast majority of flavors varying in the sandwich. The chicken was my only set back, it came off as under seasoned and bland, while the white bread and cheese melted together with the fresh lettuce. I also got their iced matcha latte with lavender syrup, which I was heavily surprised from how flavorful and sugary it was, I highly recommend this drink to any matcha lovers out there. The Dubai chocolate French toast was beautifully put together and delicious, shared across my family. From what I heard the bubble and squeak was amazing and was not too heavy or dull in flavor and is a great vegetarian option. Overall, the atmosphere inside was very light and put together, the creme walls contrasted perfectly with the historic stone walls. If you or your family are visiting savannah Georgia, I highly recommend Collins Quarter!

When we chose it we didn't realize that there are a few other Treylor Parks - all with their own concepts. The service was a little lukewarm at first, but got progressively better. It came with a pickle juice shooter that at first sounded a little weird, but was actually tasty. We started with fried green tomatoes. They were definitely different than any I had ever had. First it was tempura. YAY! Most are cornmeal and the texture is weird. These were so good. It came with a pimento cheese topper. It was my first time having pimento cheese and I loved it! I had the grilled apple pie chicken sandwich. I was a little worried it would be super sweet but it was not. It was perfectly balanced. My husband had the Treylor Park Pot Pie. We were seated right away, and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. My husband went for The Chupacabra--a massive chimichanga-style breakfast burrito stuffed with eggs, sausage, onions, cheddar cheese, fresh pico de gallo, Sriracha, and chipotle crème fraîche, served with cheesy grits on the side. To share amongst the table, we ordered the cinnamon toast banane and crispy gouda grit croquettes. Thumbs up on both, particularly the croquettes which were the right balance of gooey and structured enough to eat with the delicious sauce on the side. The cinnamon toast banane was not so much toast as cinnamon rolls with bananas foster; the cinnamon rolls were really tasty and the bananas foster was good, though the bourbon flavor was strong. For my entree, I ordered one of the lighter vegetarian dishes - the mushroom tartine with tomato soup. I think it is one of the lighter dishes - certainly lighter than what my dining companions ordered - but it was still quite rich with a fair amount of gouda fondue in the tomato bisque soup.
