OMG! 1st time. This was one of the biggest salads we've seen and loved. We ate all of it! I totally forgot to take pictures. We were starving. They have a large variety to choose from. We ordered the #13/Spinach salad with chicken. Not only was the salad great, the baked potato was fantastic! Another item with variety. We had the BBQ chicken. It's huge! Oh BTW, they also have a good clam chowder. We'll definitely take that drive from LB to go again

The food and service here is phenomenal! Salads are fresh and crisp with so much variety! There's so many salad chocies to choose from, you can either choose from their 20 salad menu or create your own salad. Whatever your choice maybe, there's a variety of dressings and toppings that will definitely compliment your salad. Overall, I was beyond pleased and impressed with the staff's customer service and grace!

Love the salad very tasty and good amount for a good price. Great customer service. There is no waiting time and they prepare your salad very quick . You can add or remove anything you want

I always came to this spot when I'm looking for a healthy, fresh, and fast salad. Ingredients selection is wide, as well as menu options. Even when the food court is full, this spot is pretty fast, and clean. Highly recommended!

Everything was good EXCEPT the STEAK.. No... Seriously…read more This was probably the biggest steak disappointment I've had in a while. The place comfy, the ambience is dark and bar-like, the drink vibes look chill, I have no complaints about the service. The service was good and the staff was nice. All this makes the steak disappointment that much worse for me. We ordered Ribeye and Shrimp Salmon Lobster Mac and Cheese Asparagus Lobster Roll (Sushi) A drink from the bar The Steak.. The steak came served on a cast-iron skillet. I ordered it medium-well. It arrived a little more medium than usual, but that was not an issue. What disappointed me was the puddle the steak was sitting in. Traditionally said puddle is a mixture of butter, thyme, and whatever seasonings you used on the steak when cooking it. In this case, that puddle was flavorless. It really tasted like the steak was just sitting in a flavorless oil. The steak was very bland, very difficult to think someone could send out a piece of meat out like that, especially when you find out what it costs. It was not worth it and not worth the final tab unfortunately. Really wanted to find a steak W for Downey but I don't see myself being interested in this place again.

Just a couple of weeks ago, my friends and I were considering our options for where to have brunch to celebrate one of our friend's retirement. Toast was one of the names I dropped in the metaphorical hat, and it won the vote of a few. My friends were surprised that I had named a spot I hadn't yet tried since I'm usually the "foodie" of the group. However, another girl in the group who had been here before vouched for it. I'm glad I finally got to try this place this past weekend, and I cannot wait to return! There were so many things on their menu that I wanted to try. A couple of the ladies ordered green chilaquiles, the friend we were celebrating ordered the Spanish Omelet, another woman I'd met that day had the bacon and eggs, another one ordered the Biscuits and grave with a side of bacon that looked perfectly crispy. I wish I had taken pictures of the plates as it all looked so lovely! I didn't even take a picture of my own food haha. I had my eyes on an omelet, one of the Benedicts or the Chicken n Waffle. In the end, the chicken and waffle won. It comes served with a little container of maple syrup with bacon pieces. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The waffle was delicious, though I did request for some extra syrup on the side. To drink, a few ladies ordered mimosas, one ordered an iced caramel coffee, and I ordered the Carajillo. I fell in love with this drink last summer in Mexico and do not often see it on the menu. I love the subtle citrus notes the Licor 43 adds to this espresso drink. It is very similar to an espresso martini, and theirs comes topped with a toasted marshmallow. I honestly wanted to try almost every item in their Tipsy Barista section of their drinks. I'll just have to come back that many more times :) Plenty of parking in the mall lot. It does get pretty packed during peak hours. Fortunately I had called ahead to put our group of 6 down. We went in on Saturday around 11:30. It slowed down a bit while we were eating, but started to get busy again after 1. Otherwise, we might have been forced to honor their 90-minute rule. All in all, a great experience from everyone in our group. No complaints on the wait, service or food. That certainly deserves a toast. Great job, Toast!

Awesome steakhouse!…read more Party of four on the patio which I prefer. We tried the Dine LA menu this time. It was a 3 course meal. We were served complimentary bread which had sourdough slices, spicy flat crackers and sesame sticks. Have to say I was genuinely pleased for the generous bread basket. AND our server surprised us with additional slices of hot garlicky cheese bread TOO! So yummy. Appetizers: calamari - crispy with two sauces ( Hubby got this.) Wedge salad ( Two of us got this.) Chopped salad ( I got this.) Entrees: Two of us got the ribeye Steak w choice of rice pilaf, mashed or baked potatoes, ( veg included tonight was broccoli.) Another got the filet mignon.( He enjoyed it) I got the Sea Bass. It was the BEST sea bass I've had .. ever! It was Parmesan crusted and perfectly cooked. I'm getting this every time I come here! (As long as they have it on the menu... ) Desert: We ended the meal with two chocolate cakes and two cheesecakes . Both were good as our server had indicated. It was additionally nice that the Host and manager came by to see how we were enjoying the meal. Basically, we had a great time here and are already planning our next visit. FYI valet $6

Like the previous visit, I went during DineLA and brought a first time guest. She was excited to try it since I've been talking it up and enjoyed it as much as I did. DineLA is a standout bargain. The bread basket with the sourdough bread and chili crisp crackers was a great start. The calamari with the lemon butter and marinara was done right and the choice of two sauces a bonus. The cheese bread arrived just before our food, a delicious precursor. Pepper steak topped with the onion bacon and pepper topping was perfection, mashed potatoes and broccoli the perfect pairing with broccoli cooked just right, still retaining some crispness. My friend had the rib eye and crispy onions and was equally enamored. The lemon tart was the finale. I took some of the filet home and even leftover, it didn't lose anything. Although we didn't order anything made tableside we saw Steve prepare a Baked Alaska at a nearby table. He passed our table later to check on us and we enjoyed a nice conversation with him. That's a nice touch when the manager stops by and chats for a bit. Service was well paced and our server was friendly and engaging. Valet parking at $6 is reasonable but you can park free on the next block by the church. It was a wonderful return visit for me and first time visit for my friend. We made a pact to come back again and again.
