Kind of an interesting selection. I like that they had a variety of non dairy milks. Limited hours when we were there.

They had the banner for best brunch 2025 hanging nicely. Diane, the owner, put us on the waitlist and also showed us to our table. Very warm welcome! We started off with coffee. Hubby had the Chorizo Quesadilla and enjoyed it very much. The portion was enough for 2 meals. Sure enough, he took half home. I had the Coconut French Toast, the small portion. Even though it's supposed to be small, I still left some on my plate. Love the fresh sliced bananas with it! There are more menu items we would love to try. Just need to come back and visit again!

The poached eggs were done perfectly and the English muffins were not burnt. (I have, unfortunately, experienced that before at another location.) My sister's breakfast was the corn beef hash, which really did look homemade, (unlike another restaurant in the area that served me what I believed was canned corn beef hash with almost soup texture.) her fruit was ripe. I do believe she very much enjoyed the breakfast. I may not be 100% correct on this, but I was rather disappointed in the hollandaise, it was a bit 'flat'. As far as I can tell, it was not true hollandaise. Most probably it was an egg Béchamel. It had a very creamy texture, a small tendency to congeal on the top, and lacked the bright zing of lemon and buttery texture and flavor of true hollandaise. Indicators, its lack of a slightly translucent and glossy finish, the lack of the acidity of lemon juice or vinegar, and did not weep butter, but instead seem to thicken and form a slight crust as I finished the Benedicts. The egg, Benedict were very tasty, but the hollandaise sauce with disappointing. (I really do like a good hollandaise.)

Have a pass so got a discount on food 20%, it was $20.70 and thats with no drinks. Little pricey but good amount of food . Got the Hot Honey Chicken tenders with fries. Everything was nice and hot and crispy. My pic only shows a couple pieces but they give you about 6 good size pieces I just ate them before pic lol. Everything was seasoned good and had Ranch and Ketchup for dipping. I opted to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful day. All in all was delicious and plenty of food. Enjoy !!!!

The restaurant had a 40 minute wait if you didn't have a reservation so we walked over to Monte's Wolfe's Mountain Kitchen for a quick bite. At the door, they check for your vaccination card, a picture is enough, and to be honest, they should really be checking IDs alongside the vaccination card because I could've just shown them ANY picture of a vaccination card and they gave me a sticker on my Epic Pass. So do I trust that the people in here are vaccinated? There were slim pickings on what to eat so we just grabbed chicken fingers with fries and a fried chicken sandwich which both were quite expensive, but what isn't at any resort? People seemed to be crowding at tables, luckily we found a spot far from folks but a couple people asked if they could be on the further end, so we said sure. All of a sudden they were joined for 3 more people. Thank goodness the table next to us freed up and we just moved over since we were clearly over taken by this group. The food itself was ok though the chicken fingers more tender and moist than the chicken sandwich. They ran out of ketchup from the pumping machine but they did have packets. I did appreciate the ranch cups. They had some hand sanitizers around. We got free water from the bar. It was fine, but I just didn't feel super comfortable with all the people inside. They had a private bathroom inside which was fine that had 2 stalls for the women. Probably won't be coming back here or making sure to bring our own food so we can dine al fresco.

It's on the smaller side with around 10-12 tables plus counter seating, which gives it a cozy atmosphere. We arrived around 1:15 p.m. on a weekday and there was about a 20-minute wait, which really wasn't bad. We did feel a little guilty since we were one of the last tables seated before they closed at 2, but the service was so fast that we were finished and out by about 2:05. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the chicken fried steak, which is made completely in-house instead of using frozen, prepackaged steak, and you can definitely taste the difference. It was perfectly crispy and tender, and the homemade gravy was some of the best we've ever had. We also ordered the eggs Benedict, which was a classic done right. The homemade hollandaise sauce was rich and flavorful, and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly--not overdone at all. For something sweet, we tried the strawberry crepes. Our server let us know beforehand that they use a homemade strawberry compote instead of fresh sliced strawberries, so it would be on the sweeter side. It was exactly what we expected and so good. It definitely has some sweetness from the compote, but it wasn't overly sweet or overwhelming. The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone we interacted with--from the host to the busser to our server--was genuinely friendly and welcoming. It's honestly pretty rare to find a restaurant where every single employee is so kind, especially in Tahoe, so it really stood out. Overall, we had another great experience and we'll definitely be back for many more breakfasts.
