Authentic Italian food right by Belmont Plaza Pool. Her Bolognese is divine and if you like Arancini you've got to try hers. It's like a handheld portable Italian dish fried golden brown crispy. Her Risotto is also amazing, I think the only thing I haven't tried is the dessert options. She's there every Thursday for sure that I've seen. If you speak Italian or are learning Italian it's a great way to practice by ordering from her. You can pay with Zelle or cash.

The rice balls are huge!

All of Long Beach should know about the Italian godmother. I've heard about her, seen her food posted, then FINALLY made it to her stall today and omigosh. She is so much more than her authentic Sicilian food. She is someone you want to keep in your life, treasure, and then enjoy her food, whilst continuing to talk to her. She teaches you Italian, she tells you fantastic stories. She's funny, she's soulful, most importantly, she's passionate! Her passion for her food shines especially in her ingredients and the precision in which she cooks. My goodness. I had a rice ball without fully knowing what I was even ordering, and now I can't stop thinking about that cheesy, hammy, ball of yum that I ate today because it was an entire experience! The cannolo? It had my SO's eyes roll back in happiness. I just. This woman deserves a darn storefront but I'll support her in her cute lil stall that she keeps upgrading. She is a saint. A Godmother. Grazie if you read this.

She is smiling in front of her handmade cannoli, which is better than any I've had in Boston!

Oh man. Best food ever. She is a bundle of joy and you can taste the love in her food. Whipped up right in front of you. Can't beat the price.

Finally got to go tonight. HOLY CANNOLI! what a treat!! My new favorite spot. The cannolis are soooo good. Just like nonnis. Can't wait to try more items!! Thank you for making my birthday special!

Came here around 830 tonight and had the best cannoli and ragù rice croquette. The lady was the absolute nicest and we were able to speak italian together!! She's the best everyone needs to check her out!!!

Everything is delicious. These are a must have! They're called Aaamvina pronounced like (arrenchina) the pasta here is amazing too!

This place is amazing! Can't go wrong with anything you order! Any pasta or these arrencini they're amazing !

The arancini ball ($7) and the mushroom risotto ($19) made right in front of you was some of the best food I've had!

Food was amazing (definitely get the Papa Tony and wild boar pappardelle) and the vibe with live music at a cozy intimate patio was just so lovely and romantic! I called ahead to let them know we'd be about 10 minutes late. I was told they hold reservations for up to 15 minutes, so I figured we were fine. Unfortunately, when we arrived, our table had already been given away, and we had to wait another 10 minutes or so. That said, once we got past the initial hiccup, things really turned around. The small waiting area had a cozy charm, and walking into the outdoor back patio--with a live saxophonist playing--felt genuinely magical. The food absolutely delivered. The spaghetti carbonara was spot on, and the lasagna was just as impressive. We finished with tiramisu and cannoli, and honestly, it felt like we were transported back to Italy. Despite the rocky start, the ambiance and food made it a memorable experience.

Their menu includes mouthwatering dishes perfect for anyone's palate. One thing I noticed immediately was how deceptive the space is from the outside. You walk in thinking you're stepping into a small Italian bistro, and then it just keeps unfolding room after room until you realize you're actually in a large, incredibly lively space. Each room we passed through seemed to gain even more energy. There seemed to be birthday dinners, family gatherings, and just large groups of friends celebrating everywhere, and the whole restaurant had a genuinely festive feel without feeling overly loud or chaotic. Service was fantastic. Our waitress felt less like restaurant service and more like a friend helping the whole table have a good night. Everything flowed really naturally. Timing was great. Drinks stayed full. Plates never piled up, and even little moments that could have felt imperfect somehow just added to the warmth of the experience. We ordered family style for the table and honestly every single thing disappeared. The Burrina pizza and Romana pizza were both excellent. The Caesar salad was fresh and balanced. The lasagna was a hit, and we also ordered a white pasta with fennel sausage that nobody could stop eating. We even had family visiting from Ecuador with us, and everyone cleaned their plates and had a great time. We skipped dessert because we had cake waiting at home, but judging by the number of tiramisus passing by our table, we may have made a tactical error there. The only real challenge is parking. Broadway parking is Broadway parking, and locals already know the situation near the beach can get rough quickly. If you live nearby, I'd honestly recommend Ubering or walking if possible. This immediately went onto my shortlist for large group dinners in Long Beach.

The restaurant was…read morefairly quiet at that hour, so I expected attentive service, unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I ordered the burger and fries. Visually, the burger was impressive and looked exactly like something you'd want to dig into. However, the salt level was overwhelming to the point where I genuinely could not finish it. What made matters worse was that our server was not attentive with refilling our waters, and when you're working through an extremely salty dish, hydration isn't optional. I left the meal feeling dehydrated and honestly a little frustrated. The bright spot of the visit was the Brussels sprouts, which were genuinely well done and showed some real kitchen care. If I were to return, I'd probably stick to the vegetable sides. For a restaurant with a 4 PM lull and minimal table traffic, there's no excuse for that level of inattentiveness. A simple water refill and a quick check in would have saved the experience. As it stands, the combination of an over salted entrée and absent service made for a tough sell on the value. If you're in the area craving a burger, you might want to save your money and head down the street to Louis Burger instead. Ellie's may shine in other areas; I've heard good things about the pasta, but this particular visit missed the mark.

We'd be happy to come down again in traffic, because it's absolutely worth the drive here. Some find the pizza sizes small or the prices high in comparison to your average pizza joint - but your average, everyday pizza place in California is just...ew. Their crust is very thin, Neapolitan style in a brick oven, beautiful and a little chewy, slightly-charred from the brick oven. Amazing texture. Traditionalists, so we just got the Margherita and Bianco, adding some mushrooms and a drizzle of truffle. SOO good. We also tried the fried zucchini blossoms, which were very light and not oily at all. Caesar salad was very delicious and fresh, also had the octopus, which was perfectly grilled and like eating steak. To finish, we had some amazing coffee with tiramisu. Wow. Not usually a fan, but their tiramisu was super light, not overly sweet, and super good. Thanks to our wonderful server, Diana ! Super friendly and everything came out quickly. Big pieces, soft inside, crispy batter, and plenty of marinara. We also tried the creamy garlic salad and chicken marsala, which were both good. I loved the upscale New York atmosphere Our lovely waiter, Scott immediately greeted us. I was so happy we had him. He was so knowledgeable about the menu, the building, making small talk and etc. when I asked what drink he recommended he said they have a full bar, but he did say the espresso martini. I told him that's my go to drink but I can't really do caffeine. So Scott had it made decaf. This was a life saver and it was the first time a waiter ever asked if I wanted it decaf We already knew what we came for. We wanted their tomahawk. This is where my mother and I usually have beef with each other (yes, a steak joke). Because we each want it cooked a different way. But it came out nicely done, we were both happy. Scott definitely knew what to tell the chef about how we wanted it cooked so we were both happy The drinks I ordered came out extremely fast Both drinks were amazing -cosmopolitan -espresso martini (decaf) The- BISTECCA DI TOMAHAWK Which is a Grilled 52 oz Bone In Ribeye Steak, Italian Chimichurri Sauce, Roasted Carrots and Homemade Spaghetti Romana (the pasta it came with was absolutely amazing) And, as far as tomahawks go, this was very reasonable price wise. Also, it came with pasta and carrots. Most places just sell the steak by itself and you have to pay for sides -they brought out a complimentary bread basket -we also ordered a side of broccoli -we did not order dessert, but they did bring out a complimentary birthday dessert The service was great The building is beautiful The atmosphere was great The food was amazing Overall, I would come back, but I would reserve it for special occasions.
