It is my first time staying at the Westin in Las Vegas. This part of the resort fee charged by the hotel, you get access to a free dessert and wine each day, and if you are an elite member, you can choose to get breakfast as a benefit instead of points. Especially for solo travelers, this is totally worth it! I have been so impressed by the good plate restaurant so far. The servers are super prompt and attentive, and are almost falling over themselves to help you quickly. Especially early, there is plenty of space to sit in the restaurant and the options for breakfast, including for vegetarians, are very impressive! You can get everything from an açai bowl to A standard egg breakfast two fried rice. Everything I've tried so far, from breakfast through to the dessert, has been extremely tasty with very generous portions! The fried rice in particular had a lot of depth of flavor and was chalk full of vegetables, like mushroom and kale, as well as an egg to make it very hearty. While we hadn't intended on eating EVERY SINGLE meal at The Good Plate during a 3 day stay at the Westin, it worked out that way because it was so good! Amazing breakfasts covered by our stay, an interesting and creative menu & lots of healthy choices contributed to our continued patronage, and the staff was also a huge part of it. Everyone was so kind and pleasant. It was really lovely knowing we could focus on our main reason for being in Vegas and not have to worry about finding decent, reasonably- priced food options. It was also amazing to us that our server that helped us a few times actually remembered our idiosyncrasies like me not eating meat and my husband disliking avocado. That's impressive! I really enjoyed my morning breakfast here. I was craving a big, tasty, filling breakfast burrito and the good plate gave me what I wanted!! Filled with eggs, carne asada, and potatoes it was just what I needed. I ordered a coffee which comes in a large carafe, I didn't finish it and was offered a to go cup for the rest, of course I'll take it! Speaking of service, my server was friendly and prompt and took good care of me. Prices are a little high but comparable to other Vegas hotel restaurants. The food is just as tasty as the description is mouth watering when trying to decide. I had several meals with them during my four night stay at the Westin. The breakfast staff are amazing, Lupe the hostess is always smiling and happy to assist. Our servers Marcus and Blanca were exceptional, friendly and fun. Both were attentive and helpful with menu questions. The seating on the right side is somewhat congested, too close to other patrons. I stopped by a few times when I stayed at the Westin! Overall service (4/5) was reasonable, the ambiance (5/5 stars) was clean and modern but not noteworthy, and the food was hit-or-miss (3/5 stars). The chocolate cake (3/5 stars) was nice but I disliked the toppings. The cake itself was much better than Safeway but not as nice as Whole Foods bakery. I had it to-go and unfortunately, it came with reddi-whip whipped cream and that strawberry sauce that comes on ice cream. The croque monsieur (2/5 stars) had good ham and nice thick white bread but generally was a disappointment. The burrito (4/5 stars) had good pulled pork although the spinach tortilla was dried out. This is the only restaurant that exist in the hotel. Located in the Westin on Flamingo Road just off the LV Strip, this place serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner. I pass by this place regularly but have never made it a point to sit down for a meal. The food pictures online looks so good, while the price is reasonable. Opted for the Classic Breakfast which includes 2 eggs, bacon, pork or chicken sausage, fingerling potatoes, and choice of toast. For a drink I ordered hot coffee. Started off with toast which included butter, and 2 types of jelly. Eggs were nicely scrambled, chicken sausage was cooked slightly crispy, but potatoes were a little too cooked. There is no outdoor seating. All indoor dining within the hotel lobby. But then again, would you want to eat outdoors during the summer heat of 100 plus? All the wait staff work fast and friendly while very helpful. They can make your food to go but I recommend dining in as most times I have to power eat depending on how hungry I feel or what time of the day. Also, the server offered me coffee to go. Really wasn't expecting much from a hotel restaurant. The seating area looked like the standard, budget, industrial design of a sturdy over elegant budget hotel furnishings. Looking at the review photos, I was expecting to be whelmed. Not over, not under. Then I asked the hostess to seat us. She was crazy fast and efficient and polite. The waiter was amazingly on point, efficient and respectfully nice. Finally the Chillaquilles breakfast was amazing! Looked wonky but tasted awesome. Came away impressed. I really appreciate this place, because I don't like Vegas, but I have to come here on business, and The Good Plate is a nice quiet respite from the noisy cigaretty vibe at the casinos. The restaurant has a very calming atmosphere, tasteful decor, decent food, and if you stay at the Westin, sometimes they hook you up with free drink and dessert tickets. Good food is hard to find in Vegas if you're not spending a fortune, so just having a dependable option downstairs from my hotel room is a godsend for me. Service can be spotty; they are under-staffed but doing the best they can with just a few servers. This is the main restaurant on the ground floor in the Westin hotel. I came for breakfast with coworkers while I was staying at the hotel. We ended up staying at the Windham in Las Vegas. I'll leave the hotel review for another time. We ate at the Good Plate four times for various time-related reasons. It appears as just a hotel coffee shop/restaurant, but it's a lot more than that. Though the menu is limited, every single thing the four of us ordered was excellent. We had the lobster roll, a hamburger, protein bowl, pizza, Caesar salad, classic breakfast, and way too many orders of chocolate cake. BUT! The very best thing about the Good Plate was our lovely server, Lena. From our very first visit she remembered what we like to drink, our food preferences and what we could and couldn't eat. She is such a credit to The Good Plate. Friendly, intuitive, smart and efficient, she is a treasure. We were ready to go home after our time in Las Vegas, but were very sad to say goodbye to Lena. When it's a really hot, long day and you don't feel like leaving your room, it's hard to argue with bringing dessert up to your hotel room. It was hard to find the dessert menu online for this place but they had a good variety for a small selection: butter cake, chocolate cake and a fruit tart. I had amazing fried chicken last night at Good Plate and they deserve a big shout out. After a change of plans I ended up eating alone in the restaurant in the lobby of my hotel. The bland ambience didn't promise much. The wait staff was kind and attentive and I was advised the fried chicken would take extra time to prepare. I love fried chicken. If they really were making it to order I'd happily wait. After 25 minutes, a beautifully plated fried half chicken with arugula salad arrived. Worth the wait! Obviously it had just been pulled from the fryer - too hot to eat immediately. A good sign. I crunched through a crispy perfectly seasoned coating into succulent moist chicken and I was very happy. The food was alright, nothing to write home about or really justify hotel prices, but we were able to use complimentary breakfast coupons for Marriott Bon Voy members. We received a carafe of coffee at our table, which was nice and plenty of water refills. I got the prosciutto and eggs while my partner got a standard breakfast of eggs, sausage and toast. I thought it was worth the price we paid, which was just tip, but I wouldn't choose to dine here full price. Our host also sat us at a weird table in the middle even though there were plenty of booths on the edge. It was alright but not the most comfortable - in retrospect we should have asked for different seats right away, but I kind of expect them to seat from the outside in. Love the aesthetics, music, and vibes at this place! Love the color pallet, chairs were so comfy I didn't want to leave lol I was a guest at the hotel so I don't know what the parking is like. However we here were no long waits we were seated right away. The staff and waiter were absolutely amazing, great customer service just so super attentive! Ate here while staying at the Westin in July 2024. There was quite a few people here when I was there around 7pm. The service was good. It wasn't fast, but it wasn't bad. Some customers had a timeline to be back for a poker tournament, who didn't get their food in time, but my food came out in a timely manner. Got the salmon, which was pretty good. Wasn't dry. French 75 comes in a wine glass and not a flute, so more drink for the buck. read more

We came for lunch after check out and ended up being extremely disappointed. When we arrived, the hostess was unwelcoming by implying that we were ordering to go and pulled the menus away from us. Once we were seated, it took an hour to an hour to a half hour to get a shrimp Cesar salad. First they brought out a salmon and took at least a half hour to switch it for the shrimp I ordered. And then, it took them what felt like 20 minutes to run our credit cards while an alarm was going off in the lobby. Overall, not a good time, would not recommend, and will not go back. read more

Stayed at the Westin for business and was shocked why this place was so dead. Great food! I had the ceviche and fish tacos my first night there and it was yummy. The filet mignon the 2nd night and WOW so good! Breakfast was also great. Was able to get in open my laptop catch up on emails have breakfast and go on my way.
