Really nice coffee shop in the Carlsbad village area. I came here for a quick coffee and dessert. Luckily I found a free parking right in front of the cafe. The place was crowded but the staff were very friendly. They have seating area inside and outside. I must say they have a great variety of doughnuts and pastries. Didn't try many but my chocolates croissant was ok but not that special. I must say that their lattes were really good. read more

Cute little doughnut shop with friendly staff. Nothing at all went wrong with the service, but my friends and I didn't think that the doughnuts were anything out of the ordinary. We tried the Boston cream, classic glazed, and one of the more unique ones. The dough was very very dense, not light and airy. Mouthfeel seemed like 5 slices of white bread pressed together with some sweetness applied. Only ate half of each doughnut then tossed it out. I'm not a doughnut connoisseur but we all agreed that VG's and the Doughnut bar might appeal to more folks. read more

This place is a local and trendy donut shop with a wide selection of donuts and drinks! The place was busy, and my family and I were lucky enough to snag some seats. We went in the morning, but they had already sold out on their pomegranate lemonade. We got the guava lemonade instead, which was still very tasty. We ordered a maple bacon, a "churro" cruller, and a jelly-filled donut! They were not overly or sickeningly sweet and had good texture. :) And the staff was very friendly. read more

The best donuts - ever!! I am not a big donut fan. Or I wasn't until we discovered The Goods. And then, I was hooked. These donuts are a work of art! And they are the lightest, most flavorful I have ever tried. Service is always with a smile, with everyone willing to recommend or share their favorite with you. The Goods is located in a fairly busy area and parking can be hard to find sometimes, but the variety and taste of the donuts definitely make up for any hardships you may have. I love the appearance of their donuts - they are very colorful and fun. Don't let the appearance fool you though. These donuts may look overly sweet, but I can assure you it is not. The sweetness is just perfect! Each of their offerings also have the perfect amount of filling to dough ratio, which isn't easily obtained. My favorite donuts offered are the Boston Creme, cruffin, and strawberry cheesecake. Highly suggest you try them. They are the perfect pillowy pick me up treats. read more

Yum! This place is defffffinitely worth the hype. I got a box of 4 donuts and an iced latte and I was happy with everything. It was definitely on the pricey side, and it had that trendy vibe where you could tell everything would be overpriced. BUT at least it was delicious. My absolute favorite was the vanilla frosted donut with sprinkles. It was perfectly fresh, soft and filling and the vanilla icing was to die for. The latte was also actually really really good. Despite all of the baked goods I'd come here just for the coffee. read more

If you are celiac do not eat the GF donuts. Most likely cross contamination. My wife and son got sick about an hour after eating here this morning. Clearly contamination. Donuts are decent but not for true GF folks with true intolerance. read more

Delicious donuts with lots of fun options. They are all yeast donuts and they have some vegan options as well! Only tried the creme brûlée donut but it was delicious! The staff here has such passion in their craft, that you can taste it in their creations. A monthly rotation of donut flavors will keep the locals on their toes, and visitors always surprised! Not your normal donut shop, for sure. But who wants normal? Okay, sometimes you do just want a normal fluffy glazed donut or a buttermilk bar, but today I wanted fancy. The shop is super cute, clean, and cool vibes. The display case of gourmet donuts was enticing. I bought way more than I should've. But I had to taste them all. And with guests coming over that day, I knew I might want to share. Maybe. Ariel, at the counter, was very sweet and friendly. My favorite one by far is the Maple. Plain amazing maple. Super creamy and perfect sweetness. No bacon please. Although I did get the maple-bacon one too. My kids loved it. All the donuts were good but the maple is the only one I's go back for to be honest. I tried the smores, strawberry shortcake, vanilla, caramel, jelly filled and maybe a couple of other flavors that I've forgotten. I think since it was the end of the day, my donuts were a little stale. Maybe that's why they didn't wow me too much. I hate stale donuts. I want to go back right when they open in the morning next time. I'll update my review then. read more

This place definitely lives up to the name! I didn't even need to be standing inside to know that I was in for a treat. We ordered four donuts and a coffee. A Boston creme, brown butter sugar, Vermont maple and a fruit creme. They didn't last very long as they were all so good. I'm not a huge fan of Boston Creme and I still enjoyed a bite. The lemon curd in the fruit creme one was delicious. My favorite was the Vermont maple. A perfect fluffy donut with a maple glaze. Worth the wait! read more

Not sure what all the rave reviews are for. I'm sorry. I did not like these donuts. I ordered four from door dash. The lemon filled one tasted extremely off. How can lemon curd taste like rancid oil? I don't get it. The bacon on the maple one was all limp. The gluten free one had a mushy consistency. What a waste of money. I'll stick with my tried and true donut shops. The goods are bad. read more

SOOO BOMB!! I hail from Southbay San Diego, but one of my best friends had heard about this donut shop so we decided to try it out during our drive out there. I ordered an iced caramel latte w/ oat milk + the lemon glaze w/ blueberry filling. Both were sooooo yummy!! The dough for the donut is fluffy, the filling was the perfect amount of sweet AND tart, and finally the caramel oat milk latte tasted just like a regular latte would. Anyone that can't have regular milk, I would highly suggest the oat milk. read more

Wow. These may be the best donuts I have ever eaten. We stumbled upon this cute store and loved the atmosphere. It's such a cute little place. The man behind the counter was super friendly and explained that they make all the donuts from scratch. They are extremely fresh. They only keep them out for a few hours before donating them to the local Boys and Girls Club. They want to make sure that everything they serve is very fresh. I got a delicious banana cream stuffed donut that was so tasty. Everything looked amazing and the prices were very fair also. I dream of these donuts and I hope I make it back to Carlsbad soon to try some more. read more

We stumbled upon this cute cafe while driving around Carlsbad Village, & I am so glad we did! They serve coffee, specialty drinks, & a variety of donuts! Brown Butter: One of the best donuts I have ever had! This donut literally melts in your mouth & the brown butter glaze on top is so sweet & delicious! The cake is moist & fluffy. Nutella: Tasty. Yes, they did offer at least one Vegan option during our visit.

They have both! Like 4-5 GF options and maybe 1-2 GF/vegan

My wife searched for an online order system and didn't find one. However, you can pre-order a pickup by phone. It's the best way to beat those weekend lines if you want more than a doughnut or two.

We didn't have to play the awkward "hover around a table until someone leaves" game. While the vibes are immaculate, there is one tiny logistical hurdle. For a coffee shop that gets this busy, there is only one bathroom. If you've just downed a large iced brew, you might have to practice some patience. All in all, Revolution Roasters ground its way into our good graces. Between the smooth service, the cool market atmosphere, and food that hits the spot, I could definitely see us filtering back in here again soon. Whether you love coffee or you're just there for the toast, it's well worth a visit!

We especially loved the ones with fun toppings like sprinkles and frosting. Last time I came here the service was wonderful and the donuts were even better. This time around the service was horrible no one greeted us it was more like we were an inconvenience.. There was a African American man in the area where they decorate the donuts just on his phone not even paying attention to what was happening outside even though there were people in line waiting to get their donuts. Literally felt like my family and we're just an inconvenience to him and to the girl at the register. Never coming back again, not sure what happened with the lovely ladies that were there before because they for sure lacking on customer service without them. read more
