I got some takeout here when in the area and in a bit of a rush, so sadly, didn't have time to dine in! When I arrived, parking was super easy in the giant free lot they share with other businesses. The restaurant is really cute with lots of cozy seating and the decor is fun, vibrant and eclectic! I was greeted by a friendly employee who was very helpful and found my order really quickly! I ordered two potato and cheese tacos and they were so flavorful and perfectly seasoned! The taco was crispy and the potato inside was so soft luscious while the cheese was melty. It had a great savory flavor and was accompanied with sauces to give it even more spice! I regret not getting a dessert, as their dessert case was filled with enticing looking cakes! This just gives me a reason to return and dine in next time!

The menu here is great and they have a variety of vegan options. I love that breakfast and dinner are all day. Also a very good drink menu from smoothies, coffees, fresh juices, and aguas frescas. Service is usually good but I have waited a while for my check on a slow night before. I love the decor in here as well. My non vegan friends and family are always happy to join me here, definitely a reoccurring place for us to eat together and have a good time :)

I love finding places that are all vegan! This place was really cute and smelled so good inside! I got the huevos con chorizos. Pretty delicious! Service was casual and friendly. Will be back

Caramel Latte with a little nuttiness

Best vegan spot in the South Bay! Lovely service that was super kind and wanting to help us. - Caramel Latte had this nutty finish that was delicious. Really curious how they got that flavor profile. Caramel must've been fresh - Moringa Latte was a gamechanger! Tastes like matcha combined with heavy spices like Cardamom. Must try - Chilaquiles with both salsas was a revelation. Never had chilaquiles this good at a Vegan spot. Let's just say...I avoid Mexican food in certain neighborhoods lol but this surpassed all my expectations. Try it with the chile rojo that is on the table. - Chocolate Crepe to finish was fluffy, light and had a great dark cacao taste that didn't overwhelm with sweetness. The perfect finish.

    Curry Wrap

This place has such AMAZING vegan food. Also, so much of it is gluten free too which is a huge plus. You really cannot go wrong with any of their options. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price to portion ratio. The prices are a little extreme for the amount of food you are getting, but it is all organic and the quality is superb. Worth a visit every once in a while for me. You can tell that this is family-run and the interior is way more inviting than it would seem. My friend had the curry wrap and loved it! I had the huevos a la mexicana (tofu) and it was so delicious I would definitely order it again. It came with an organic homemade hot sauce that I wish I could buy!!!

Arriving around 4:00 p.m., after a pleasant walk, we found the restaurant fairly empty. No one was at the register, so I helped myself to a couple of menus. Choosing what to eat proved challenging; the menu offered a wide variety. My friend is encouraging me to eat more vegan meals, aiming for four days a week. I started with a berry smoothie. The menu boasted many vegan options, but I ultimately opted for a pizza with roasted peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, vegan cheese, and marinara sauce, along with a side of potatoes. My friend ordered a club sandwich, adding mushrooms, and a side salad. My pizza was exquisite--it practically melted in my mouth! The sauce had an unexpected, almost buffalo-like tang, though it was listed as marinara. Even though I was quite full from the potatoes and smoothie, I managed two slices. I'll definitely return to explore more of the menu, but I highly recommend the pizza--you won't be disappointed.

    Asada, chicken and potato tacos

Vegan shenanigans continue... Someone told me about this place. So we decided to check it out. After asking for recommendations from the waiter, I went with the breakfast burrito and vanilla latte. Both were delicious. I had never had tempeh bacon. So good. And the coffee wasn't bitter at all. My niece got three tacos and an iced caramel coffee. She said they were all good, but the highlight was the potato taco. The only thing we didn't like was the homemade salsa. It was heat without any other flavor. They should work on that. This place is highly recommended though. They have a lot of variety on the menu. So there's something for almost everyone.

Service is fine, since we asked what options we may order without onion and garlic. Server knows the menu and the preparation well, and for few times he went double check for us. So that may other and enjoy my meal with peace and rest. Vegan cheese was tasty. I knew the drink I could ask for less sweet. Environment is spacious.

    Mole Burrito

Incredible experience!! If you want a peaceful meal, VIP treatment, this is the place!! Food was delicious - mole burrito (chicken was perfect with juicy texture) We tried the tempeh and it was also flavorful and unlike anything I've had. Our server Mildred was incredibly kind, attentive to detail and made our visit extra special.

I went to visit my sister in Hermosa Beach and she recommended we go to The Grain Cafe for lunch. It is located in a strip shopping center with a few other vegetarian restaurants located nearby. It is comfortable with ample seating and bright decorations. This restaurant is vegan, which I was interested in trying, since I have been transitioning to eating more plant based foods. We both ordered the Hibiscus Iced Tea, which was quite good and was served with honey. I ordered the Falafel Wrap with a side of potatoes. The falafel was baked which I prefer over fried. The ample spinach wrap was stuffed with falafel, hummus, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and tahini sauce. The potatoes were decent but were not very hot. Overall the lunch was tasty and there was enough food to bring home leftovers. My sister ordered the Patty Crepe but was brought the Veggie Crepe instead. She ate half of it before realizing that there was no patty. She informed the server that she was given the wrong order and apologized and offered to bring the patty separately, which she accepted. She took a bite of it and said it was very good but would save it for later. She also took home half of her order. The menu is quite extensive. I would definitely return to try out some of their other dishes.

We ate half of our meals that day and finished the leftovers on the 23rd. On Christmas Eve morning, I woke up violently ill. I spent the next several days isolated in a bedroom, unable to keep anything down, constantly vomiting, and dealing with severe gastrointestinal symptoms. It was the sickest I have ever felt in my life with severe nausea. At the same time, my 3‑year‑old daughter suddenly spiked a 103.5° fever and developed diarrhea. My husband had to rush her to urgent care, and from there she was sent to the ER so she could receive fluids. Watching my child go through that was terrifying. After a week of not improving, I went to urgent care and tested positive for Salmonella poisoning. My daughter also tested positive while she was hospitalized. We are both still dealing with symptoms. I am going on a second strong course of antibiotics today. After my test result was reported, the LA County Department of Public Health contacted me. They told me that another woman in Redondo Beach, who had eaten the same salad on 12/22, also tested positive for Salmonella and had been hospitalized for several days. I later spoke with her and her family, and hearing her story was heartbreaking. LA County has opened an investigation, and I am cooperating fully. I'm sharing what happened to us in hopes that it helps others stay aware and safe.

I had a pretty solid positive outlook on them. I ordered the "French Toast Latte". I feel like it should have been called the Burnt toast latte. I genuinely took 3 sips and tossed it away in the trash can on the side walk. I tried to mix it and grabbed a straw to do so and it made it WORSE. I'm extremely disappointed that I wasted $7 on a latte. I've had bad coffees before, but this one took the cake. It tasted like milk, and the espresso tasted acidic, burnt have you. At least with other bad coffees I could stomach at least half of it but this was just really acidic. I noticed other people mentioning the coffee scene in LA isn't the same anymore and this attested to that. They started picking up foot traffic & I wasn't going to wait to ask for a remake or anything, I took the L and life moves on. I wasn't going to play Karen about it. The Lamington pastry somewhat saved the experience. This was an extremely moist, spongy, sweet cake that was delicious with coconut flakes on top. She was AMAZING. I snagged a piece off my friends and it was reeallllly good. I would recommend if you like coconut and a softer spongy cake like pastry! Talk about the underdog in this trip. The aesthetic is cute, it's clean and resembles a house. I like the scheme they have going on. The other half looks like a gift shop that I did not go into.
