First time here and we will definitely be coming back! Sunday mid-morning is always a busy time for breakfast places in our area. But the 20 min wait was well worth it! Plus they offer little cups of coffee, self serve while you are waiting. Very nice touch. Our waitress Toni was great! So polite, friendly and attentive. My husband had one of their signature dishes, "The Skillet" and I had a spinach & feta cheese omelette. I'm a gluten-free eater and the have this wonderful GF english muffin. I loved it! read more

This place is consistently excellent. The food is fresh and the service is always top-notch. We sat outside because we brought our dogs with us for breakfast, which is a great plus that they are dog friendly with several tables outside. I got the omelette today with hash browns and toast, and have gotten the breakfast skillet before. I highly recommend both. If you go on the weekends, you should plan to wait because it gets very busy. read more

Unfortunately my first Bad experience at this establishment. A short wait was obvious as people were outside when I parked. Walked in and asked the hostess if the bar was open seating. She said let me check if there is anyone waiting, looked at the list and said no go right ahead. I made my way over and the server/bartender asked me to wait so he could wipe the area first. I did and he sat me down, saw a friend who was already there and we moved to sit together. About 5 minutes later the owner walked over with two groups of people, a three and two person group. The long side of the bar was completely empty when I sat down. She said to me are you finished we have people coming in.... I said no ma'am I just sat down. She said you can't sit here. I said I have been sitting here for almost 5 minutes. I also explained that I asked the hostess if the bar was available and she told me yes. She said NO SHE DIDN'T! I again repeated that I was told I could sit at the bar. I then explained I could move either to the right or left to accommodate the two groups she was bringing over. She then said THAT IS NOT TRUE, we have a list, what is your name. I said David but I am not on a list, I was told I could sit here. She sat the two parties, again plenty of room at the bar. Walked away huffing clearly agitated. I assumed she would go speak to the hostess to confirm my story and return with an apology..... NOPE! As an owner of a small business myself I am appalled at how I was treated and will no longer support this local business. The group of three that she sat next to me commented they couldn't believe how she acted, how loud she was and how rude she was in handling the situation. it was their first visit and they said they will not be returning! Can't blame them, told them it was my last visit as well! Treat people the way you want to be treated, customer service is key! Especially during these crazy times! read more

We had a wonderful brunch here and love the extensive menu. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite busy. There are booths and large tables for groups. I ordered the crab avocado salad and loved it! It was so refreshing and perfect balance of sweet and fresh. My friends ordered the a hash skillet and sandwich and we all are it all. This was my first time trying out this place, to which I was recommended by a coworker. It is a breakfast and brunch place that serves the whole menu all day. I tried the Monte Cristo sandwich with spicy crispy fries and a side of seafood chowder. When the plate came out I was super excited because everything looked so good, especially the sand which. But the food tasted less than what I expected, it may be because I had high hopes. The spicy fries looked good too and I was hoping that they would have an extra kick to them but they tasted normal. The service was great and the guest I brought enjoyed their meal too. She chose the Pick 3 option; tuna salad sandwich, chips, and seafood chowder. Malcom the owner basically told me he serves 500 meals a day and just can't make what ever people want! Hmm crack 3 eggs splash milk dip bread and done... NOPE. Ordered pancakes very dry and flipped over bacon it was raw on one side.. well now it's 499 MEALS A DAY.. not going back !! BYE BYE Went to popis asked for the same and was told OF COURSE WE CAN.. so I got what I wanted and it was good... gonna give them a 5 star review. I will say the Granary has been a delightful place for breakfast and brunch. I prefer to go to the mom and pop joints since I believe in supporting locals. The Granary won't disappoint. It has a great eclectic menu that has consistently good quality with our past 3 visits. These folks do NOT understand the ADA rules for service dog and we were denied service. I was told the owner instructed the staff not to allow any dog without a service vest. That is not and ADA requirement. I realize there are many people out there pretending to have a service dog so fluffy can go where they go. Had the carrot cake pancakes-not very hot and really only tasted the walnuts, not really the "carrot cake" part. Also had the Mediterranean omelet -good, but nothing special.
