Table for one right at 9am on a weekday

I came here for breakfast on a weekday morning. The ambiance is definitely trendy but without being over the top. It easily has the vibe of a place in the city. The menu has a lot of nice variety, though at the end of the day, you're going to find classics. It was tough to decide what to pick. For $18, I got the steak and egg burrito. I wish it had had more steak in it, and a sauce would have been nice. I liked my Turkish latte, though. They really hit the mark! I am still thinking about the "hard latte" and other breakfast cocktail options. I wish I had gone for them! The hard lattes were particularly creative. Glad I tried it, though I'm not rushing to visit again right away.

A beautiful and fun spot for some healthy lunch after work. It's downtown and near lots of shopping and other restaurants as well as the train station. The staff were courteous and friendly. I downloaded the app for the reward program which was a little finicky and they helped me use the initial reward anyways with no issues. There are locations in this area of New York and a few in southern CT. The menu is full of healthy options of fancy toasts, salads, parfaits and granola items. They also serve coffee and cocktails here so it's a great after work spot. Just what I needed. I got the Naughty Cobb salad and an OG granola bar for later. I really loved the Forest Cutout wall And the TV had tennis on which was perfect for today. Definitely a fav spot!

Granola Bar of Rye has the most awesome vibes. I usually sit at the bar because each time I have gone lately it has been so busy. Sitting at the bar is just as nice as a table. Their iced lattes are so good, I always find myself wanting to order another one. Overall the portions sizing is small but after you are done you feel full. They only downsize is the prices. It is a little on the pricey side. So if you are looking for a $50 and under breakfast for two you shouldn't come here. They always have lunch and dinner options which are great. They also have live music at night!

First timers here. My friend recommended this restaurant that's how we heard about it. Our waitress Taylor was awesome and very attentive. The food was freshly made and delicious. Nice and clean on the inside. Loved the decor as well.

Was in the mood for a good granola parfait and stumbled upon this gem. Decor is cute and clean. The food wasn't bad. Wasn't the best wasn't the worst. Service was horrible. I literally saw numerous parties leave because there was no hostess. Food came out quickly but the problem was service time. The staff moved with no urgency. If you are in a rush - do not go here.

Just an overall beautiful cafe. Went on a completely off-peak time. The ambiance was beautiful. My latte was perfect. It was nice to relax and enjoy my coffee after a long drive from NJ. Great find. Would love to go back and try a few things from their menu. I just took photos of the inside.

The service was okay, the food wasn't anything special, the booth was definitely not fit for a large party, or at least 5 people, booth tables are small. I enjoyed the food, I enjoyed the burger and fries. Also had the Paloma drink/ it was sort of like a margarita- it was okay. Everything was moderately priced, which was nice, we enjoyed it! Must have reservations!!!

I didn't love the food here. It was mediocre and a little over priced... The atmosphere was ok but not great.

THE FOOD ----------------…read more+ New England Seafood Chowder - Very good. Came out piping hot and had lots of potato chunks, carrots and fish inside. Only knock is we wish we had more! + Clam Pizza - Personal pie size pizza. Honestly, just the right size. Verrrrry delicious and verrrrry flavorful, BUTTTTT the flavor didn't come from the clams - it came from the over-dominating flavor of the bacon scattered all over the pizza. Not to say that the bacon flavor was bad, but it could have used more clams. + Kids Mac and Cheese - Gooey just the way we, especially our kids, love it. + Grilled Angus Burger - Solid burger. Cooked medium and it was the right shade of pink inside, but the burger was a litttttle dry. It was not dripping juices and oil as I would prefer. Plenty of fries onions on it though. Fries reminded me of the thin McD fries. + Steak Tacos - Just 2 tacos. Would have liked if it was an order of 3. Steak was good though. Guac inside mixed with the steak chunks definitely made it better considering that the steak was well done. THE SERVICE ------------------- + Friendly and courteous waiter. Accommodated our numerous ketchup requests and never forgot anything. + Food came out VERY quickly. - For the Grilled Angus Burger, cheese did not come with it for free, but the waiter asked what cheese I wanted, which misled me to think that cheese came with the order. I ended up adding swiss cheese, which definitely made the burger better, but it was an extra charge. The extra $2 for the cheese was not the issue, but the way that I felt that the waiter misled me was the issue. Instead of asking what cheese I wanted, he should have asked "Would you like cheese with your order?" It's the principle. Feel me? Because of this, had to knock off a star off what would have been a 4-star review. THE SURROUNDINGS -------------------------------- + Private parking lot was in the back. All of the spaces in the front are for the Rye Train Station and paid, so DO NOT park in front of the restaurant if you're here to dine. + SUPER spacious restaurant with 2 levels - 2nd level seems like it is for private parties. 1st level has 3 dining areas PLUS a nice, huge bar area. + Multiple TVs located by the bar. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- + Came by on a random August Friday at 11:45 AM and, as expected, it was pretty quiet at first, but business picked up verybquickly and it became pretty busy by 12:45.

    - Large, spacious restaurant with a rustic yet classy vibe; plenty of seating throughout, including…read moretables, booths, and a bar; second-level space for private events, along with outdoor seating in the front - Small, somewhat tight private parking lot located to the left of the restaurant--easy to miss if you're not looking for it - Service was friendly, attentive, and consistent throughout our meal - Food was enjoyable overall: seafood chowder was served piping hot and loaded with generous chunks of fish, potatoes, and carrots--flavor was excellent, although we were surprised it wasn't served with oyster crackers for some added crunch; steak tacos were tasty and well-flavored, but the portion was quite small for an entrée; the clam pie was well prepared with a pleasantly chewy dough--was quite heavy on the bacon, which unfortunately overpowered the clam flavor, but it was still a good pie overall; the grilled angus burger had good flavor and cooked to the requested medium, though it wasn't as juicy as expected--the crispy onions were also more chewy than crispy; kids' mac and cheese was nice and gooey--a solid choice for the kiddos

Karaoke was in full swing and the hosts are very talented. We made reservations but it was not packed this particular Thursday evening. It was very hot so we stayed indoors but I would have liked very much to sit outside. They have a nice location. Everyone was veyr nice, from hostess to bussers; our server was very attentive. We started off with some drinks, and their jerk spring rolls and codfish fritters. Everything was really good. Hubby had their lomo saltado. He said it was OK but the rice was dry and it wasn't served as it should be, with the sauté on top of the French fries. I had the ribeye with mac & cheese and cabbage slaw. The steak temp was perfect, as was the mac. The slaw was bland - I wish I ordered a different side. My kiddo had their chicken fingers w/French fries, and liked it. My MIL had their pollo a la brasa, and enjoyed it as well. We surprised hubby with a happy birthday red velvet slice and headed out. Service was great and it was a vibe with the live music. After our meal, we walked around Hudson Park nearby and enjoyed a very chill day. I would definitely come back.

The ambiance and aesthetics definitely lived up to the hype, and our waitress was kind, attentive, and did her best throughout the night. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill because of the wait. We arrived and were seated around 7:45 PM, but we didn't receive our food until about 9:15 PM. We ordered a Caesar salad, oxtail spring rolls, lomo, and jerk chicken. After waiting for what felt like forever, our waitress explained that our order had been given to the wrong table. While I appreciated her honesty, it was frustrating that it took so long for the mistake to be noticed and corrected. As for the food, I'd give it a 3.5/10. It had potential, but overall it just missed the mark for me. After such a long wait, I expected much better. We were only offered 15% off the bill, which didn't really feel like adequate compensation for a 90-minute wait caused by the restaurant's mistake. This was my first visit, and unfortunately, it wasn't a good one. I'd seen this restaurant all over social media and had high expectations, but my experience didn't live up to the hype.
