I came here with my sister in law and one of our girlfriends on Friday night (April 10th). When we got there it was a bit crowded but hey that is the nature of the game sometimes when going out to bars. So that didn't bother me too much. Me and my girls were able to get 3 seats at the bar. Like much of the other reviews. Service was slow and it took a long time to get a drink. However, as the night went on the crowd grew bigger and there were only 2 servers so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. That alone is not why I gave this place 1 star. I have came to this bar a few times in the past. It has been a couple of years since I have been back but my past experiences had been pleasant. At first everything was cool. Even with service being slow me and my girls were just talking and vibing with each other and those around us. We met some pretty cool people there. They have a small dance floor and we had a few drinks in us so went dancing. It was a great time. We ended up getting warm from the dancing and wanted to get a breather outside. We saw the door to the patio was open and people were outside. So we walked out and were just talking. One of my crew was smoking a cigarette. Then 2 of the staff members came out furious completely bypassing the other tables of people sitting outside and came directly to us. They started screaming and cussing at us saying we weren't supposed to be outside. One of them said "isn't it obvious can't you read?!" One of my friends said "no wasn't obvious" and my sister in law was telling them to calm down and that we would go inside. She told them that they were being incredibly rude because they were people outside and we thought it was open. As we went inside they still berated us. Two grown men yelling and cussing at us now from inside the bar. So we had hand enough and talked back because we were not going to be verbally attacked at a place that we spent money and our time at. We ended up deciding to leave and as we decided to leave, they followed us out and slammed the door on us and said that we weren't allowed in. Still yelling and cussing at us through the gated door. I started filming shortly around this time because I felt unsafe. Then they started mocking us saying "now look they are going to leave us a bad review." and I said yes we are because this experience was horrifying. I asked was because of our race? (because we were a diverse group of women). It went from two grown men yelling at us to silence. I want to make this clear. Though there were other people sitting outside that night. Lighter skinned people. We were the only ones targeted. No other individual outside was treated this way and no other staff intervened. If you are a woman. If you are of color, do not come here. I would love to go again since I came on a weekday and literally only was there for like 20 minutes before they closed BUT let me tell you what would happened if you came on a weekday (first time EVER going there). So when I first stepped in I definitely loved the vibe and music they were playing! Found one of my favorite songs just chilling there (Thundercat ofc). My friend told me the last time they went there was a DJ so I would really want to experience that. Now honestly where it all went wrong was like the bartender lowk. We did NOTHING to bother this man but he was giving the vibes that he was done with us. It could be that we were there for like the last couple of minutes or so but yeah just not good vibes. Honestly ruined the experience but the drink he made was good. I ordered the Lovefool which was yummy and the best drink that we ordered there. It wasn't too strong and had a good balance if you don't like tasting the alcohol. Love this place! Our big group came on a Friday night kind of early.. Right when they just opened. I love the vibe, the drinks, the people, and the food. They have tortas and tostada in the back outdoor area. It is ready an hour after opening. We ordered a variety of drinks (so pretty and tasted so good) and ordered quite a few tortas and tostadas. They tasted so good because we were hungry. I would definitely come back again during night time to enjoy their music and drinks. They do have a live DJ and it reminds me of a speakeasy but one where you don't have to speak so easy. Bartender was great and he served up pretty mean good drinks. Def recommend! read more

A great craft cocktail bar in Long Beach. Not pretentious, no cover charge, chill vibe, friendly people, unique decor. Bartenders are easy to find and attentive. The cocktails are well thought out and well made. There are typically DJs on Friday and Saturday. Note: Parking is tough. This spot looks like it could be dicey from the outside but from the inside, it's a pretty nice place with comfortable seating and a lengthy bar. They made good stiff drinks because after walking out, I was buzzed. The vodka cranberry and vodka tonics were good. They cracked open a can of tonic each time I wanted one. My girlfriend tried their verde tropicalia and the hotel nationale. They make very pretty speciality cocktails but even the well drinks looked great. A DJ came in to play music, but the dance floor isn't really big. Overall, this spot is very cool and can't wait to bring some friends/yelpies with next time. read more

Came here last Thursday for an event posted all over LB. I was super excited and came with my bffs. We waited over an hour in line with multiple people leaving, when we got in, the venue was dead so not sure why capacity was cut. We were ordering drinks but the bartenders had extremely poor attitudes. Over all not a really great experience, will most definitely not be coming back. read more

The inside is sooo cute with vintage feeling interior design. A tiny dance floor and a big outside patio where you can bring in the food from the pop ups they host. However, last night when I came with my friends they apparently had reserved tables for a party coming in that night but there were no signs or anything closing off that section so we just sat there & the bouncer told us we had to move because it was reserved. Since it was their mistake they stated they would give us the first round for free. As we go to order our first round that they said they would give us the bartender acted like he had no idea & was about to charge us & throughout the rest of the night he just seemed bothered by the fact we got free drinks. Unfortunately I do not have the name of the bartender assisting us but it is March 28, 2026 at 11pm. This man constantly ignored us after making eye contact several times. The money we would try and call him over her would get upset and would talk to us in such a demeaning tone. To the point where the couple next to us who we didn't know even pointed it out. He ended up kicking us out after we told him we weren't gonna tip because of his attitude. He called the security over snd started yelling at us. What's unfortunate is that the security guard didn't even bother to ask us what happened? He just immediately grabbed us and kicked us out and said he doesn't have time for this. If he doesn't have time for this, then what the fuck was he hired for??? The sucky part is that this is our first time here and all we were trying to do was get a drink, and we got kicked out for no apparent reason other than the fact that the bartender was being an asshole. Been coming here since they opened, often with friends who DJ or join us for a fun night out. But our most recent visit? Absolutely unacceptable. We came with a big group--easily 20 people throughout the night--and noticed something shady. The female barback repeatedly grabbed our drinks while they were still full and bolted off with them. This didn't feel accidental--it came off like a calculated move to get us to keep buying more. It happened to multiple people we were with. When we flagged it with the bartender, the response was incredibly dismissive. They offered a single comped drink for the whole group, as if that made up for multiple stolen ones worth over $100. The atmosphere as soon as you walk in is immaculate. They've got Nacho Libre on the TV, classic Latin American music on the DJ, and a sparkly ceiling!! The bartenders are so chill and attentive! They also brought the vibes up to 3000. It was my first time at this place and now I'm determined to be a regular. Their cocktails range from $12-$14 with $10 house specials! Everything about the bar in terms of drinks, looks, music are all good but the bartender targeted us for no reason and made it his mission to make sure we knew he didn't like serving us. As soon as we decided to stand up for ourselves he snapped his fingers and we were escorted out. To me just seems that he's on a bartender power trip. Specially when he purposely skips you, he knows you're trying to order something even tho you've waiting patiently and saw how new people would come up and he would service them instead. Look I get it; it's a lot and it's stressful, but the other bartenders seemed to have a system and so did he but his system was skip the two girls in the center. And then skip the whole center. Other people were having the same issue in the center of the bar. I'm reading a few reviews with the same issue tho. GREAT BAR! I love the ambient, and they have the most awesome ceiling, kind of made you feel like you're in space. The music is pretty awesome, I like what they play here! The only thing I would deduct a star is the loudness of the music. You literally have to scream if you want to have a conversation here. Because it's a very small bar, the music echos! Ohhh and the drinks, I highly recommend their "hotel" drink. It is good and only cost $9 during happy hour! The bartender does take a bit of time to make the drink, but I'd rather they not rush my drink cause it tastes great! As for parking, they have a small lot with some dedicated parking for the bar, but plenty of side street and meter parking nearby. This bar has been on my "Go to" list for a while. Bar hopped Long Beach and this was our last spot. The vibes are immaculate. Small parking lot but thats why I Uber lol. Small cozy and dim lighted bar with great music. The drinks are very well crafted. Old fashions and watermelon margaritas were a true chefs kiss. Tipped the first time , second time waited 10 min for him to walk around on a not busy night and for him to skip me so that is why I didn't tip the second time . Saying I don't tip and I've been coming here for a long time . Tips the third time for the reason I felt obligated too since he confronted me to make it easier for him . A person doesn't know how many drinks they can take throughout the day so that is wrong of him . This place reminds me of a cool speakeasy. It's small, but has a very intimate feel. it has booths and it seems to themed in a 1920s sort of era. The bartender make great drinks, they are well balanced and to me worth the price. on the evening i arrived very early, as I like to do when ive never been to a place. the service was adequate for a bar type setting out back they served up food which I didn't try but looked delicious. read more

Watermelon usually gets overpowered in cocktails, but their Rosa was perfect. I'm not sure why their namesake is at the bottom of the menu, but the grasshopper tastes like mint chocolate chip ice cream so my partner loved it. They also have a food truck outside and guests were able to eat inside and get a drink. logistics: We wanted to get drinks before dinner so we came in around 6:30pm on a Saturday and were able to sit at the bar. I would honestly rate this bar a 4.8/5 because every time I've been here it takes a while to get acknowledged and order your drink from a sometimes grouchy bartender;) So be patient and order 2 up front. The menu is curated and the drinks are well crafted. I've been here on Thurs, Fri, Sat, and Sun nights its always a good time. There is always a theme ranging from 90's RnB to Cumbia nights, the Djs are fun, the dance floor is small but useful.
