And then, there's Paczki (Polish donuts) mmmm! The food is made to order and can take up to 25 minutes but we got our order in less time than that. The place is cozy and kept clean and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend if you are looking for something that is just like mom ( or grandma ) used to make or just looking for some comfort food prepared with love and care. Reminds me of my childhood growing up in Poland.

Ordered Black Sheep Polish Sampler platter, Polish gyro sandwich, 2 ham & barley soup bowls, zapiekanka (Polish pizza bread), potato and cheese pierogies, one order of fries, two orders potato pancakes. What a spread. Potato pancakes were exceptional. Fried to perfection served with applesauce and sour cream. The cabbage soup was very tasty: chunks of Polish sausage, cabbage, barley, minced vegetables. Delicious. Polish euro sandwich was interesting. Tasty combination of Polish sausage cheese inside a (homemade ?) Bun. Pierogies were fantastic; each one serve served with a bit of grilled onions. Pizza bread was a bit steep, as well as the soup at $8.99/bowl. With prices going up, can't blame them. Overall good food. Nice touches with the interior design. We look forward to returning. Also, Missy is the best! Come check out this spot.

Today we ordered a maple bacon milkshake, peanut butter milkshake, 1/4 pound grilled cheese burger on toast, 1/2 pound New Orleans burger and a shareable basket of parmesan truffle fries. Let's start with the positives, the shakes were well made and not overwhelmingly sweet and we liked that a lot. My husband's 1/2 pound burger seemed a little small and my grilled cheese burger said it would be on Texas toast but it seemed like it was sourdough bread and not really thick cut like Texas toast should be. I was looking forward to eating here because the pictures of the fries online looked long and thick cut, the basket of fries we got didn't look like that at all and lacked Parmesan cheese. The negative experience was the fact the water tasted weird. I took one sip and tasted a weird chemical taste but my husband and I didn't complain, we just paid and left. I don't know if it was the water or the cup but it definitely had a weird taste. Overall, the experience was ok. I think we had higher expectations seeing all the pictures online. The name of the place threw us both off because we thought it was a Latino owned burger joint with a Mexican twist but that wasn't the case at all.

We were excited to try Urban Kitchen, and it absolutely delivered…read more Right away, the decor stood out, unique without being over the top, warm, and inviting. The waitstaff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive without hovering. We started with drinks: blueberry mojitos and sangria. Both were fantastic. The flavors were perfectly balanced, refreshing, and it was clear they were made with real care and attention, not just poured and sent out. For appetizers, we ordered the chips with guacamole and salsa. We weren't expecting the chips to come out hot and clearly fresh from the fryer, but wow, perfectly crisp with just the right amount of salt. The guacamole tasted fresh and clean, and the salsa had a great balance of heat and flavor without overpowering anything. I ordered the birria tacos, and they were outstanding. The meat was incredibly well seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. You can tell when food is prepared by someone who truly cares about what they're making, those kinds of flavors can't be faked. The Cobb salad was equally impressive: fresh ingredients, a perfect portion size, moist chicken, and a dressing that tied everything together beautifully. One of the nicest surprises was learning that Urban Kitchen supports the community through Meals on Wheels. It's always great to enjoy a meal knowing the restaurant gives back. The only downside? We live six hours away. That said, we will absolutely be back the next time we're in the area. Highly recommend!
