The food itself gets a passing grade even though its hard to screw up two eggs, four pieces of sausage, potatoes and two pieces of toast. However, to pay 12 bucks for this including the tip (no drink, mind you!) pretty much disqualifies the restaurant as my future breakfast/lunch destination. Furthermore, my waitress never told me that I should pay up front even though I showed her my credit card and she brought it back with the check, so I wasted 10 minutes thinking that she was gonna process the card. As I was waiting for the food (about 15-20 minutes), their bus boy was picking his teeth in full view of everybody and talking to the register girl. Two minutes later, a large party arrived, and he could be seen carrying extra napkins (and part of his mouth with them) to their table. A great many youngsters today haven't received the basic etiquette training and compassionate upbringing from their parents for various and sundry reasons. This fact puts the onus on business owners to provide a minimum of that kind of instruction to their employees - for their own good and that of their customers. A five-to-ten minute shift once a week is all it takes to ensure better service. read more

Parking is sometimes a challenge as they stay packed but have now addeed extra parking to the back of the restaurant which has definitely helped. We have had one visit where the service was subpar. Otherwise we have always received good and consistent service. The price point is a bit higher than what you would normally see from a cafe or diner for breakfast fare but the quality is well worth the cost. It's been a while... We need to get back there soon!
