    Lamb and Chicken Souvlaki

This is a decent restaurant. The inside is clean and spacious. The service was great and super polite. I got the lamb and chicken skewers and the meat was super tender and flavorful. The pita bread was fresh and warm. This also came with a salad and was super fresh and delicious. The dressing they use was very good.

I was looking for a quick pick up for dinner and stumbled upon this spot on Yelp! It looks like they recently opened and found there was no line. I went with a chicken gyro which I got within 5min of ordering. It came with nice big chunks of chicken, taziki sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, feta cheese, and onions stuffed in a soft pita bread. Overall, it was quite filling for $12 and liked the amount of meat that was in the wrap. There's plenty of seating inside and a nice size parking lot outside which made it easy to get in and out. Can't wait to come back and try their bowl next time!

What a great place to pick up a quick bite. The food was fresh and flavorful. The staff was extremely helpful and offered suggestions for meal choices. The setting was clean, bright and open. The souvlaki was a little tougher than expected but had great flavor. They gyro was top notch.

I went here after it came up on a feed and it was mentioned that it is Halal. My coworkers and I try to go to Halal restaurants whenever possible because one of my coworkers prefers it. Walking in, the place is nice and open. The restaurant is clean, with a casual setting. Everything is brand new. When you go up to the counter, they have paper menus in the front and a menu board to look at too. We got a shrimp platter, a chicken souvlaki platter, and 2 gyro platters along with a 4 dip combo. We also got the dessert sampler. The 4 dip combo came with a good amount of dip in 4 separate bowls and a mountain of quartered pita bread. All 4 dips were delicious. One person loved the Melitzanosalata (eggplant dip) and the other loved the Tirokafteri (Greek Feta dip). The other 2 dips, the Tzatziki and the Hummus were good too. I wish the Tzatziki had a bit more garlic and cucumber in it, but that's just my preference. Still pretty good though. The sides available for platters are rice, french fries, feta fries or Lemon Potatoes. We got 2 of the Lemon Potatoes and 2 of the Feta fries. Between the two, I prefer the lemon potatoes. They were super tasty with a nice little tang. The french fries were crispy and pretty good too. I think they would have been without the Feta though. They also came with Greek Salads. The Greek salads were the standard lettuce, tomato, Feta, Red Onion and Olives. Super fresh and crispy. The shrimp platter came with 2 skewers with 4 shrimp on each. They were large, juicy and mildly seasoned but delicious. The chicken Souvlaki were pieces of chicken on skewers also. The chicken was breast meat, I think and for me, a bit dry. However, taking the oil from the Lemon Potatoes and putting it on the chicken helped with flavor and added some moisture. The Gyro meat was good. Not the most flavorful I've had but not the worst. They pack in a decent amount of meat and don't skimp. The dessert was a Rice Pudding, Baklava and Baklava Ice Cream. All of them were delicious. None of them were overly sweet. I was surprised at the mildness of the Baklava ice cream. Definitely something to go back for. There are hot sauces, ketchup, salt, pepper, napkins and whatever else you might want condiment wise in the front next to the drink dispenser. By the way they serve Pepsi beverages. Not a yay or nay. I don't really care. The water dispenser is in the soda machine too - in case anyone goes looking for water like I did. If you want plates so you can share your food, you have to go to the front and ask for extra plates. The staff is super friendly and kind. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. The young ladies that work the counter also bring your food to your table when you dine in and will come around periodically to check on you (if they aren't too busy). The owner of the establishment also comes around and checks on his patrons. He was bussing tables when we were there - which I appreciated. Also, the bathroom was spotless - probably the cleanest bathroom I've been to at a restaurant. Between the super sweet staff, the yummy food and the relaxed atmosphere, I can't see why anyone shouldn't go. We decided it will be in our regular rotation now. For a chain, this restaurant doesn't really give you that vibe. It is located near the Gas South Arena in the same shopping strip as Marlowes Tavern. If you're in the area and want Mediterranean, you should give them a go!

It was our first time trying this restaurant out. A nice fast casual Mediterranean restaurant. We ordered the Mezze Plate with chicken and gyro meat to go. The price was reasonable and the portions were plenty, especially the pita bread. The best part was the hummus! Very creamy compared to other restaurants we've been to! Definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you're looking a quick bite!

Service and Ambience was amazing, food not so good, we had a group of 3 people 2 of the 3 did not like the food. The Wrap was not that good, nor the kids cheese pizza, the fries were on point! 3 stars

Finally, Greek place with Gyro on the spit!!! Had the large Greek salad with Gyro, um, HUGE!!! Love it! Tasty and large portions how it should be at a greek restaurant. Girl taking order was fabulous too, self serve drinks but she checked on us 2x, nice touch. Wife said Gryo was on point, bread/pita was warm and soft. We'll be back and probably will frequent the place since Buford is lacking quality Greek places.

We were able to attend the soft opening of The Great Greek. It was awesome. The food was fresh, the service was lovely, and we are thankful to have such a great addition to the Suwanee/Duluth Restaurant scene. We had the Chicken Breast Souvlaki Plate, and the Chicken Great Greek Gyro along with the Feta Fries. All of the dishes were great, and served so quickly. The chicken was tender, and tasty and the romaine tomatoes and onion on the Gyro were absolutely fresh and crunchy. The serving sizes of all the dishes were generous and prices quite reasonable in my opinion. The restaurant is bright, open and clean. I can't wait for next spring when they will open the patio. One of the interesting aspects of this restaurant is that the chicken, and lamb are Halal. This may be the only of the franchises that carries the Halal meat. Finally, we enjoyed the food so much, we returned a couple of days later. This time we had the Avgolemono Soup, the Spanakopita, and the Dolmades. All were fresh, and yummy!

Kabuli pillow (possibly wrong spelling) was the highlight, and best in town. In fact, it was so well prepared that we came back specifically from it. They claim to be the first and best afghani restaurant in town - and honestly this checks out. They have great starters/sharables too, best for me is always the betinjan (eggplant). I like the Mantu as well, but tbh, had much better mantu elsewhere. The highlight is the pillow. Just go there! Ambiance wise - very family friendly. Simple and quite interior, nothing fancy, great for families or parties who don't want much noise and just want to eat and enjoy a conversation. Great service as always.

The prices seemed fairly reasonable. Customer service was friendly and attentive. I opted to order the chicken kebab plate, and it was quite tasty. The portions were a bit smaller than expected, and the rice was slightly bland on flavor, but I enjoyed the chicken kebab and the garlic yogurt sauce. The cucumber salad was refreshing, and was a nice addition. The green chutney sauce was alright, but a little watery in texture. We had to eat quickly due to scheduling constraints, but they were quick with providing takeout boxes, and sauce cups to take home with our leftovers. Overall, a solid place to get some great Afghan food.

Great selection of Middle Eastern goods; was happy to see دبس فليفلة which I haven't seen since I was in Syria and where it is made by the barrel in homes to last the year. The deli also manages good shawarma and the hummus is so delicious! I wish they were more generous with the side of it in the plate (was less than half full). The salad was tasteless; no salt/spices, nor dressing. A previous visit I purchased two cakes: one carrot and the other chocolate. The carrot cake didn't have any carrots in it (looked, but didn't taste like traditional carrot cake), and the chocolate cake wasn't good at all (bitter) except for the frosting. The 'espresso' based coffee was lukewarm and tasteless. The person put condensed milk in it which made it worse but he did remake it without charge. He kept calling me, mama, which was unsettling to me. I have a son less than half his age. I gave only 3 stars because of the overall ambiance and the discourtesy and unfriendliness of the staff. Once inside, I noticed they sold halal meats -- I've heard their halal lamb is especially good -- along with lots of spices, snacks, and Turkish desserts. I bought one dessert to pair with coffee, and the flavor was definitely unique. I also picked up MAHMOOD Gold coffee. It tasted slightly bitter, but it was very refreshing and gave a nice energy boost. Before leaving, I ordered the Mixed Grilled Platter from the hot food section. Later, I realized I had actually meant to order shawarma -- the big slices of rotating roasted meat. The grilled meats were decent overall, though a little dry, and the butter rice became a bit heavy after a while. Still, it was a fun and interesting experience trying something different.

I ordered the Salmon kebab plate. I was asked how I wanted my salmon cooked, and I said well-done. But how they cooked it was amazing! The salmon was fully cooked but still flaky and tender, and juicy. I found it flavorful enough, but there is a salt and pepper grinder on the table if you need it. It comes with a roasted tomato and a huge mound of saffron rice. I liked the rice a lot but it is a bit plain. If you want a more flavorful or interesting rice, you can add a different rice for $4.
