Went to see a band called "White on rice" at the Green Frog - band was great, but as for the place itself, well... It's one of those hole-in-the-wall / strip mall bars. Now that in and of itself is not necessarily a bad thing - sometimes a small neighborhood bar can be just the place to wind down & relax. But the draw backs to the Green Frog that I saw were: 1: they serve no food. There is a great Mexican place 2 doors down that has awesome food, and the Green Frog will allow you to bring in outside food (I did) so that's not that much of a criticism. But as has been mentioned in some of the other reviews about this place... 2: the tall female bartender is by no means friendly. And they have no waiter/waitresses that come to your table to take drink orders - you have to go to the bar to get your drinks - which doesn't bother me in the least - but that means you will have to deal with her eventually. I got the impression that she would like her job so much better if she just didn't have to put up with all the "customers." Baffles me why anyone would hire a person that makes the customers feel like they're an inconvenience. 3: If you smoke they do have a smoking area - but I've seen more aesthetically pleasing spaces in dark alleyways. One look and you know that their smoking area was where they once used to keep the garbage cans. There are only 2 ashtrays, 1 on each table, and they were full to overflow the night I was there. The space is just big enough to swing a cat (providing the cat doesn't mind a few nasty cracks about the head) So all in all I would say that if you live within a mile of the place, check it out. But if you'd actually have to go out of your way to visit it, there's probably a better local bar near to you where the staff can at least "fake" their smiles, and at the very least can probably whip up a good greasy burger, and if you smoke, has a place for you to do so that doesn't feel like a spot where you'd normally send the dog because it pooped on the floor again. read more

On weekends the frog is a better place during the Day before the night comes. I'm sure the owners are happy with all the people that pack this place on the weekend nights but not for me. Takes too long to get a drink, might as well stay home. read more

Only reason its getting 5 stars is because of Jenna the young lady that started a few months ago. As soon as she sees you walk in she is at your table or bringing you your drinks because she remembers you. Best customer service. Now for Kimberly slow as a snail never once came to table I had to wave my empty pitcher so she can come over horrible. Need to get Jenna schedule just so we feel like a valued guest. read more

So I live in Redlands but my son takes boxing at Highlanders in San Bernardino. Today (Oct.11) I dropped him off at 4:30 then headed to The Green Frog 2 miles away for a quick margarita while my son took his class. This place is awesome! I personally love the pool tables and music choices. The bartenders are awesome at getting your drinks out fast and they are friendly, which is rare in a bar environment. The DJ played really good music but here wasn't a lot of dancing space. Overall good experience. read more

Went here 9/23 to watch SC, great atmosphere. Relaxed feel to place, locals present and cool. People coming in having a drink , some laughs and leaving. Enough TV screens to get a view from any seat. Deep fried pickles and bacon wrapped poppers were excellent. Could use more variety of beers, but no complaints of current choices read more

You spend 20 minutes to get served a drink because bartenders act like they are Gods gift to man, then you drink your pitcher and wait for ten minutes to use the restroom because they only have one toilet seat no urinal for the 200 plus full capacity. I went out for a night of bar hopping for a friend's birthday. Dive bars are where its at. Its a small bar, holds about 50 or so. You'll see lots of middle aged women out with their girl friends, but everyone is having a blast... they even allow smoking in the bar. This place has karaoke.. and it doesnt really matter if you can barely carry a tune. I like to stop in here once in a while and have a drink or two. It's definitely a place for younger people with the games setup. Not a big fan of karaoke nights, but the live bands there are pretty awesome and drink prices are decent. Rusty, the owner, is a good man who makes you feel welcome and is definitely appreciative of repeat customers. Bar staff is pretty cool with the exception of one female bartender whose name I won't mention on here. Anyways, I like this place as a local hangout once in a while and will be back again. read more

Fun place. Karaoke on Wednesday is fun. Going to chill and watch a game is cool. Food I have not tasted but drinks are good. They have a DJ and dancing on Saturdays I believe, that's the most packed I've ever seen it. Atmosphere is nice, they just need to do something about the smell in the place and update the furniture. Don't go here expecting a fancy place, this is a little hole in the wall bar w pool tables, karaoke & etc. it's a cool little spit though, they have $8 steak dinner specials which are good & they make drinks strong! My brother loves this place, & most men would I think, I've been here a couple times w the bro & we enjoyed laughing at drunk karaoke singers, some who were surprisingly good. Went to the GF a few Wed ago. Went with two of my BFF'S. May I say we had a blast!! Place was not overcrowded. People playing pool and others just enjoying themselves. We ordered some munchies and they hit the spot. The topper of the evening was Madonna the waitress. We had a great time with her. We shared drinks and a lot of laughs. Only one TV had NBA as hockey was one all the rest including Big Screen.Waitress left menu but when my friends arrived at 6:15 and we tried to order food, we were told kitchen was closed. Game starts at 5:30 but kitchen closes at 6 ?? WOW . Asked waitress for a drink ..got yelled at to get it myself from bartender... except bartender not to be found.. which is why I asked her in first place. Noticed food being served to other customers??? Never got any better...When hockey ended, they shut down big screen instead of turning on close basketball game...left immediately after game never to return. The pictures they have on yelp make this bar look all awesome but they are so cheap looking and rude...they gave me an orange slice with mold on it and one of the employees just snatched my drink when he saw me walking out with my beer cuz he was forcing everyone out at 1:45am so I just walked out and he's like "nope you're not taking this with you" like wtf I payed for that sh**t you can atleast offer to stay so I can drink the rest you jerk. I will never come back here again. The bartender RUTHIE was horrible. I asked for a drink and she told me there was 5 people ahead of me so I patiently waited while she mingled with customers she knew even kissing one of the girls and blowing bubbles on another girls chest and her own. I'm pretty sure she was drunk. After all this I was still waiting as she made shots loudly and obnoxiously for a customer who had just walked up next to me. I don't know what she had against me I was just there to have a good time and ended up closing my tab after one drink with the other gentleman there, but not before getting her name. I just recently started coming here because it is less then 3 miles from where I live. Every experience here so far has been pleasent, although the last time I came my ATM card didnt work even though I had plenty of cash in my account...It turns out that my mortgage payment was being taken out at the same time I was trying to pay my tab.
