How awful....and racist. I was the ONLY person of color at a table of about 13 and somehow MY dish was the only one DROWNING in sauce...despite someone else getting EXACTLY the same dish; hers was dry and much more appealing. I'm sorry to have to rate this place one star for quality and taste, or lack there of of either. Harsh, but it was a brutal $51 spent on our take our dishes. The roti canai was super watery and flavorless. The basil fried rice was also totally flavorless, which I should've been able to foresee by the color...it was straight up white. The pad see ew may have had the most flavor from the group, but that's not saying much. It also had zero to no veggies. The pad Thai also flavorless had maybe 3 shrimp, if that. The tofu was soaked in some kind of soy sauce or something so it had a weird funk to it. The string bean entree was not the dry sauté as was described on the menu... Needless to say sadly I will not be ordering from here again. So far the best Thai food in the area has continued to be Sapphire Thai Express in Teaneck. read more

The food at this restaurant is bland and underwhelming. The service is attentive, with waiters/waitresses filling up tea cups and checking in often. The food is very disappointing though. We ordered the roti canai (chicken sauce), spring rolls and the Thai basil rice. All lacked flavor. Roti canai was watery/greasy with no spice. Spring rolls were greasy. Disgusting!!! I ordered the vegan chicken and I don't know what the heck the substance was so I ended up throwing it away. What a waste of $30. The best part of the meal was the tea and even that was way too sweet but after adding water it was tolerable. Just because people are vegan, doesn't mean you can slap the word vegan on a plate and serve them garbage. I've never seen vegan protein look like that in my life. 3.5 stars for the food, but I will round up to the 4 stars for the nice service and for the great value. I was visiting this restaurant for the first time on Sunday for a late lunch, I was surprised the restaurant was 90% full at 1:30pm. I was greeted by friendly staffs with warm smiles, I immediately feel like home. The order lunch special even during the weekend so some of the dishes are only $9 during the lunch time (and will be $13 during dinner time). We ordered crispy calamari, tom yum soup, pak see ew with beef and pak kee mao (drunken noodle ) with shrimps. I like my Tom-Yum soup and the crispy calamari is delicious, but I do not like my pak kee mao, it is too sweet and not spicy at all. It ( Drunken noodle is supposed to be spicy). Hubby ordered pak-see-ew and he also thought it was too sweet and the beef is too chewy. Though the ingredients are fresh but they are not authentic Thai food but Americanized Thai. Our waiter did a good job to keep coming back to refill our hot tea and all of the staffs are friendly and attentive. I will try this place again but I will order other dishes next time. Well I ordered the famous Chilli chicken! And it was tasteless and hopeless. Take a closer look at the picture and I think you can tell the batter was half cooked. It just made me sad. Still I pushed myself to eat one piece of chicken and it was dry and bland. It tasted like if it was microwaved. Heartless cooking, no effort at all. During payment, I told them that I didn't like the taste, it's not eatable. Guess what, the lady gave me 100 reasons why it's liked. Could be this, could be that., we can add gravy. Came out to this spot expecting nothing short but spectacular food. Every time I come to this spot ,i always get the Chili Chicken, Saigon Beef, and the fried tofu. The portions here and the flavor of the food is just something you don't see much these days for the prices you pay. The restaurant has a ambiance, with its patrons being the locals around town. Came here for dinner with friends and the dishes were all delicious! We got the green curry, pad see ew, the golden money pocket appetizers, and two customized stirfrys (one shrimp and one chicken). I really love how you can customize your stirfrys by picking the meat and sauce/stirfry style you want, especially because that means the dishes are fresh and made to order for your taste buds! I also greatly appreciated how they care very much about allergies and were very cautious in making sure that none of the dishes had peanuts in them, as one of my friends is allergic. Ordered takeout lunch from here to give this place a try since it generally had good reviews. My husband got the pad kee mao. The noodles were mushy, meat was overcooked and it was bland overall. My green curry was the smallest portion I have ever gotten from any Thai restaurant. It was overpriced for what it was, especially since it was quite watery, The food was mediocre at best. I have ordered their pineapple fried rice, Saigon beef, Malaysian curry with beef, fried tofu, coconut shrimp, roti canai, spicy fried calamari, pad see ew, Pad Thai, and so many more. Everything taste delicious, and they serve it in generous amounts so you can share your plate with a friend. I also love their bubble tea (specifically the Thai iced tea).
