He showed in the time frame given (even with a broken arm) with plumber Paul and readily snaked the drains. Was impressed with the fast service and most importantly, cleaned up behind themselves after they were done. While Paul was cleaning up, I asked Timothy for an estimate to relocate a hot water heater. The estimate arrived the next day as promised and believe reasonably priced. After trying to replace the shut-off valve myself, I ran into a problem where it was still leaking. After a day of trying to fix it, I decided that it was time to call a professional since I had to turn off the main water supply and needed turn the main water supply back on ASAP. I started calling different plumbers to see what the cost was and a less than $20 DIY was going to cost between $95 - $200. I called Green Plumbing and sent photos to his phone so that he knew exactly what problem I was inquiring about. Unfortunately he would not be able to come help as he was at another job. However, Timothy took time out of his break time to call me and assess the problem. He told me the tools to get, how to fix it, and to call him back if I ran into anymore problems. All from the goodness of his own heart. Given the fact, even after receiving his instructions I still ran into some problems and gave him a call. And again, he took the time to help me again. After fixing it through Timothys instructions and help, all by phone I was able to fix the shut-off valve and have our main water supply back on. Thank you so much Timothy! A great guy, you should hire Tim. I had a main line crack to do corrosion from someone using a galvanized GEE coupling where they shouldn't have. I called Tim on Sunday afternoon to set up an appointment for Monday. He said he was busy and asked if instead I was available in a couple hours. I was thrilled that he was willing to come out and help get my water flowing again. When he came out, it started to rain a bit and the job took longer than expected. He worked an hour past dark and got it fixed. My only regret is that I couldn't afford to give him a bigger tip. For 15 years I dealt with a corroded shower fixture from the 50's that would only turn on or off, no hot or cold, Plumbers I asked to fix it all said it was too old to repair or replace: that I'd have to replace all the plumbing running to it. And he also came within 90 minutes of my initial Monday morning call for a kitchen sink repair. He was happy to have me watch him do the entire repair and explained it all to me so I could learn as he worked. He went under the house in a dirty crawl space on an unrelated issue, and explained how to do another 2 repairs on my own - with diagrams and recommendations for where to get the materials - all for no extra charge. He not only diagnosed my water heater problem, he also gave me several options for resolving a very complex warranty issue I was having with the company that sold me the water heater. He went to great lengths attempting to source the failed Gas Control Valve that turned out to no longer be in production and there is no replacement on the horizon. 1. He arrived on time! 2. Very professional and personable. 3. Expert in all he did (I watched him the whole time and he didn't mind) 4. He put up with my yammering the whole time. 5. He said "No charge". I could not let him go without paying him for what turned out to be the exact diagnosis and advice I needed to resolve my warranty issue. I just got the company that sold me the water heater to commit to delivering a new water heater tomorrow under the parts warranty thanks to Timothy's guidance. These guys are just the best! They've been out to our place twice now in the past year or so to fix minor plumbing issues and each time the workers were courteous and respectful of my home and time. They even put booties on their feet before entering the house, which was an unexpected surprise but much appreciated :) The second time they came out they noticed a piece of the plumbing was not up to code and offered to give me a price on how much it would cost to fix it (and not in a shady, used-car-salesman kind of way that leaves you questioning whether you actually need the suggested upgrade, or if they were just out to make an extra buck!). They even suggested that I contact my HOA to see if the upgrade might be partially covered, given that they would be bringing the fixture up to code. I'm happy to say that I've only needed to call The Green Plumber 2 times; once in 2011 and again today. I cannot properly express how great their service is. I was treated with respect and kindness on the initial phone call. When the service tech was en route to my house, he called to be sure it was OK for him to show up A LITTLE EARLY! EARLY? Service calls never arrive early. Paul, the service tech came to my house, was extremely polite and respectful. He wore booties every time he entered my house, which made me feel a little bad because we were in and out of the house/backyard/garage several times ... Paul must have been at my house for an hour diagnosing my problem, looking under the house, on the roof, in the back yard, in the front yard in the alley ... Although Paul was not able to fix my problem, he thoroughly explained his opinion and assessment to me, offered some options and was on his way. I was not even charged for a service call ... I fully expected to pay for a service call. I truly believe that I received great service and that I have a better idea of what my plumbing issues are and where to get them fixed. THAT IS SERVICE. While I hope I don't have anymore plumbing issues, After 2 very positive experiences with The Green Plumber, they will be the first call I make. read more

I wish I could give LESS than 1 star. I don't even know why I called this dude again...I had a problem with him before. Literally started the conversation with worst case scenario. When his employee showed up, the guy looked at the toilet for less than 30 seconds, and came back saying it was a pretty intense problem...possibly up to $800. I had two ounces of water pooling at the base of my toilet....I called Mr. Green Plumber and was thrilled that he did not want to work with me! Called Gorsuch--they were here in one hour, figured out the problem within 15 minutes. They went an got a new part: and I paid $107. Why do these people that throw "Green" into their title think they can get away with murder? So I called today because I had standing water at the bottom of my dishwasher, and I called The Green Plumber to help me out. Timothy answered the phone and said he was all booked up, but he would try to help me out over the phone because he had a few minutes before he had to go to his first call. I texted him a couple of pics and he was able to troubleshoot my problem and walk me through how to fix it. I talked to Timothy and got the help I so needed. My landlord and his mortgage company was giving me a hard time and a BILL FOR MORE THEN 500 DOLLARS for something I did not cause but they stated I was at fault for moisture that is frequenting my rug in the corner every 5-6 days! They could not find the leak and stated that I was causing it so then I should pay the bill. I contacted several people but they wanted to charge me for just advice. I felt so helpless! Then, I talked to my colleague since I was so stressed out and the bill deadline was approaching. My colleague told me to call the Green Plumber...so I did since why not try. I talked to Timothy and told him my story and he told me what to do step by step for FREE! He did not charge me anything for this advice and he even helped me write the letter to my landlord and his company! I sent it certified mail just like he said and they sent me a letter right before the bill was due stating to not pay the bill but it will be "put on hold" and I could move out early if I would like. It was like I was being punished for telling them of the water problem when I first noticed it. I then contacted the city and an inspector came out and said he was going to put this incident on file since he saw the problem himself and stated he needed to look at the plans of the place and will get back to me. So far, it has been a month but I will be contacting them again after the holidays to make sure this goes on file and my landlord does not charge me when I move out! I'd called Tim a little over a year ago on a holiday when I was gardening and hit a water line. Soaking wet, I was turned down by probably 5 plumbers until I finally called the Green Plumber and Tim came right over, the next day my sprinklers had a separate valve, I was a happy gardener, and I had a plumber. A couple weeks ago I made a bad decision and allowed my son-in-law to fix a small but ongoing leak under the kitchen sink. The next morning I awoke to a flood coming from all sides of my house. This was Monday after 4th of July weekend. I called Tim and he didn't have any time till Thursday (I hadn't described what I was dealing with) and after describing the situation, he said he'd come that day. He came and stayed far longer than he should have (thank God) stopping the leak so we could have running water. He described everything that was wrong (we live in a nearly 100 year old house so it wasn't entirely the son-in-law's fault although I still hold onto the resentment for the flooding and the subsequent SHIT TON OF MONEY, through a separate coming, that drying it out cost) and helped me navigate through all the different people I needed to get started and fix this. And then he did a gorgeous job fixing it. Through his recommendation of a contractor (who I will also yelp review) he SAVED US $700+ in unnecessary construction. Excellent experience with this company. I called them around 6:50pm and they actually answered the phone. I'm really thankful for that, as they close at 7pm. I hate when companies don't answer their phones during business hours, even if it's at the end of the day. They were very polite and scheduled me in the very next day. They came within the 2.5 hour window they specified. The plumber put the booties on his shoes without me even asking, and got 2 drains unclogged in about 45min. Very polite, very professional.
