What a gem of a spot! Perfect for date night, a celebration or just because you like good food! We opted to sit in the bar on a Saturday evening. There are booths and tables available as well as an amazing dining area showcasing their wine cellar. Our food was amazing. Definitely try the toasted raviolis! Service was top notch!

Justin was incredibly friendly and welcoming, as was the host who greeted me. The bar had a cool atmosphere, though it was relatively quiet for 6 PM on a Friday night. The French onion soup was excellent! I also tried the crispy rice but didn't love the fishy topping, and the rice wasn't as crispy as I expected. The menu had a diverse and interesting selection, and the service was great--very attentive and quick to bus plates, which I really appreciated. Overall, a solid experience with great service and a nice ambiance!

Great happy hour with friendly bar tenders. It's nice and dark in the bar. Not a place to go party, much more relaxed and intimate. The fried ravioli are good to snack on with your cocktail. (Get the blue cheese olives in your martini!)

We came to celebrate my nephew's graduation from ASU here in Scottsdale because I reviewed the ratings on Yelp! I'm telling you, my Yelpers never let me down! We were greeted immediately and welcomed into the establishment. Atmosphere was steak house like. With a beautiful wine cellar in the room we sat it. Amazing cartoon drawings of famous baseball players. (See video). We ordered two great wines that were suggested by our fabulous waiter. We started with the rib end appetizer that were a lot better than they sound. Ordered the Fried Calamari and toasted raviolis. All delicious. For our dinners, we ordered filet mignon, rib eyed steaks with bone in and boneless steaks. My other nephew ordered the pork chop and we had the crab legs. All were fabulous. The crab legs were so good they melted in your mouth. Seasoning all perfect with our choice of meats. Heavenly mash potatoes and potatoes au gratin that were delicious. Our table service was the utmost best. I loved our time here and our food was memorable. Plenty of parking out front. Easy to find location. My family and I Loved it! If ever back in Phoenix we will be back! Thank you all for making this day so special to our family. Cheers!

We reserved a table at Frashers Tavern a couple of weeks beforehand to celebrate my birthday, wanting to have something very special this evening. The web pages informed about the dress code being business casual, so we dressed adequately. The reviews indicated superior quality, so our expectations were pretty high as we entered the restaurant timely, and waited at the front desk for some time. A person appeared after a while, and after having prioritized someone calling to reserve their table, we were finally seated with a happy birthday note. The room has nice, classic decor and wood walls, although the place sounded rather loud. That was ok, but it was somewhat awkward to note that we were basically the only ones having business casual outfit. Then, we ordered the appetizer and drinks. It was again a bit strange to realize my wine took such a long time to be served, although our server informed even couple of times it is on its way. Again, not any big deal as we were not in hurry at all, it was just that we needed to wait paciently that birthday brindis to materialize. Perhaps there were some more important customers, we thought. That all were of course just minor details, the steaks being of the main importance. After very tasty crab cakes, we ordered a petit tenderloin and ribeye, ready to enjoy the treat. The tenderloin turned out to be fantastic although it was slightly undercooked compared to the ask. Excellent it was regardless, so 5 of 5 for the quality. Nevertheless, the ribeye was slightly disappointing. Delicious it was, and prepared to a perfect medium, but for 61 dollars, it was kind of tough - texture-wise it actually reminded more like choise-grade New York strip than prime ribeye. Sufficiently juicy it was, and pretty tasty, but for the price, I had somewhat higher expectations so I would give 3 of 5 to this one. The recommended house dessert, butter cake with icecream, was fantastic. The bill was around 200 dollars plus tip, no bread served, and regardless of some other evaluations indicating a nice surprise of their dessert being given as a birthday present, I was simply charged for that one. All in all, we enjoyed very much the evening, regardless of the rather high price compared to the overall experience.

Frasher's Tavern in Scottsdale was fantastic! We loved seeing St. Louis favorites like toasted ravioli, Provel cheese, and ooey butter cake on the menu--everything was delicious. The service was amazing, the owner was so friendly, and the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommend!

Their famous butter cake yum... so good.

I love this Frashers Tavern in Scottsdale and I love the great food, hospitality and the owner George is so funny and fun when he comes by and talks to you. He makes you feel like one of the family. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. The place is very nice for upscale date night or you can sit in the bar area and have a nice cocktail and appetizers or even a meal there. It never disappoints. I've been coming over ten years and every time they never miss.

Be prepared to pay a pretty penny But worth that pretty penny I'm not a fan of mashed potatoes but these were good The meat was cooked to perfection The broccoli could have been cooked a little longer but tasted amazing

    Do they take reservations?

Yes they do. They can accommodate large groups as well.

Same Frashers that used to be on Scottsdale Road near McDowell?

For apps we got the lamb fondue which was super tender and unique. Dipping meet in cheese? Literally nothing better. Then we also got the green chili pork stew which is a MUST try! Not too spicy and full of flavor. Also, great for sharing as you fill it in the buttery tortillas. The filet was seriously one of the best I've ever had in Arizona. It has a nice shallot butter crust and it was cooked PERFECTLY medium rare. This was a highlight. The pork chop is huge and has a nice sweetness to it. The meat wasn't dry either...it pretty much tasted like the best bacon I've ever had LOL Everyone must get the green chili Mac n cheese. Not spicy at all just Smokey and tangy and full of cheese but shockingly not that heavy. The pecan pie was unreal. Gooey and sweet but the crust was still super flakey. The brownie skillet was soft in the middle which is how it always should be. Their known for their frozen huckleberry margarita which is a treat in its own but it's not too icey they definitely don't skip out on the tequila. Rachel was our server. She's been there for awhile so you know that they treat their staff well. She was super knowledgeable and honest about certain menu items. I also spoke with the manager, Matt, who was very welcoming and seemed very proud of his restaurant (as he should be). Overall highly reccomend it here. Everything exceeded my expectations. We were running a little late so I had our friends check-in at the hostess stand and they gave my name for our reservation which was confirmed and they were sat at a table. We then arrive a short while later and I approached the hostess and stated that we had a reservation and our friends already arrived, checked-in for our reservation and were seated. The hostess asks what name the reservation was under and I tell her my complete name and she said she doesn't have it. I explained that I have a confirmation email and she waves her tablet at me about 4 feet away so I can't see the details and says "See! I don't have it." I replied, my friends are already here under the reservation so can I just go find them? She replied yes. I don't understand the interaction when my friends clearly checked in already using my name for the reservation. It was a discussion that wasn't necessary and did not give our first visit to the Roaring Fork a good impression. Once we found our friends after searching through the entire restaurant, we found them and sat down. We were immediately approached my our server who was very attentative and gave great service. We were told about a 3-course menu with multiple selections and I decided to get the New York Strip. I enjoyed my cesar salad and then the New York Strip was delivered. It was prepared according to my request, medium, and I checked by cutting right down the middle. I noticed it was a little tough to cut even with the steak knife I provided but the inside looked as expected so I continued on. What I was surprised to find was the amount of gristle on the New York Strip. There is nothing like having to pull food out of your mouth (several times) at a public place because you can't possible chew or consume it. For $80 (salad, New York Strip, sides and desert) I expected better. Unfortunately, my experience leads me to leave a 3 star review.

The Japanese milk bread lived up to its reputation, and the hamachi was especially fresh and flavorful. For our entrees, we ordered the roasted chicken, surf and turf, and a side of Brussels sprouts. The chicken was cooked perfectly, tender, juicy, and practically cuttable with a butter knife. The steak was equally impressive, and the lobster was rich, buttery, and packed with flavor. The Papas Verde had an addicting tang from the tomatillo salsa but were brilliantly balanced out by the chorizo and asadero cheese. The shaved brussel salad could have used a little more date and chile to balance out the vinegar but I was pleased either way. The elote was probably the only thing that fell short execution-wise as I didn't get much of the chorizo flavor, but the cook on the corn itself was perfect. The Gambas al Ajillo are absolutely a must-get. Juicy, sweet shrimp with an unexpected kick from the butter sauce and unsurprisingly great bread from Noble. The Tlayuda was a little heavy on the lettuce, but the smoked pork and bean puree combo were so flavorful that it helped balance out the richness with texture and freshness. I also loved the crispy contrast from the fried tortilla. We ended with the Concha and Mango Sticky Rice ice cream which sounded pretty simple but was quite impressive in its own right. The ice cream was a touch too frozen, but it ended up working out well with the crunchy cornflake coating and lightly warmed, pillowy concha to make a really satisfying ending to our meal. Service was excellent and the patio was well-lit and had heaters ready for colder weather. Vecina is on the pricier side for sure, but you will not be disappointed.
