    Snickerdoodle iced latte
    Jose M.

On one particular morning, we wanted to try out a new coffee shop. Some coworkers had been talking about The Grind Coffee House, so we decided to give it a try. When I got there, the dining area was pretty full, and you could tell it's a place where people like to spend time hanging out with friends over coffee. The atmosphere felt lively and welcoming. They had a lot of coffee options, with various syrups and milk choices, plus a small selection of pastries. I went with a snickerdoodle iced latte, while my wife tried an iced peanut butter latte. To be honest, the coffee itself wasn't too impressive for me--it even tasted a bit watered down once the syrup was added. Maybe it was just my drink choice, and I'd be open to trying something different next time. That said, the customer service was great. Everyone was friendly, and our order was fulfilled promptly, which definitely made the experience better overall.

We have come here for years and by far my favorite balanced coffee is the Road Warrior, which has ground coffee beans in it. I will keep coming back for this. The workers are young and welcoming. The owners are also kind. My wife and I will keep coming back.

Two small drinks and two sandwiches took over 30 minutes -- with seven employees behind the counter. The delay wasn't due to being busy, but to staff spending more time chatting than working. On top of the wait, the drinks weren't good. Won't be back. I'll stick with Six Beans Coffee Co., where service is fast, friendly, and the quality is consistently excellent.

Breakfast Croissant Sandwich with turkey, egg, and mozzarella cheese

I was in the Apple Valley area getting some check-ins done. The Grind made my day so I decided to offer my support and patronage. At first sight, I saw tons of outside patio seating with music playing through some speakers. I said cool! Upon entry, it felt very warm and welcoming with some nostalgia. Maybe it was the wood decor. Loungers, tables, and chairs were available inside. I loved the country like ambiance! I had lost my voice recently so it was hard for me to speak, but I did my best. This was my first time here so I didn't know what they offered. By the looks of the menu, it's a coffee/tea/sandwich shop with hot/cold drinks, breakfast items, pastries, and snacks. I chose the breakfast sandwich with turkey, egg, and cheese croissant. You have a choice of different meats, cheese, and bread... it's like "build your own" sandwich the way you like it. That's flexibilty! Sweet! The lady behind the register recommended medicine ball (I think it comes with mint, lemon, honey, tea) to help soothe the throat. I gave it a try. It was really warm and soothing. Thank you miss! My croissant was very tasty. Good portions of turkey. Eggs were a little runny just perfectly cooked. Cheese was melty and stringy just the way I like it. However, the presentation of the croissant was not the greatest. It was a little flat. No big deal, but just a little surprised. I'm used to plump croissants not flatten ones... that's all LOL. I ate out in the patio seating area on a clear sunny day. Overall, it was a nice and pleasant visit. I would come back again. Thank you The Grind!!!

This was my second time here. The space is clean, the baristas are friendly and it seems like a great place to study, read or catch up with friends. Their pastries are good, I ordered a chocolate muffin for my son and a banana muffin for myself. I love that they have kids size drinks. My only critic is that their coffees are SO sweet. I kindly asked them if they can remake my coffee as it was way too sweet for me. They were very nice and accommodating and made me a new drink. That drink was just as sweet, it tasted like I was drinking syrup and milk. It just wasn't my preference. If you love sweet coffees then you'll love their lattes. I would come back, but next time I would ask for suggestions on a not-so-sweet coffee.

I came to visit family and found this shop while out and about! The employees are so nice and had great recommendations, when i wasn't sure what to try. there was so many options of drinks and food, i ended up getting something new everytime! Wished I lived closer during school because it would be such a cute place to study in!

Had a bagel with Swiss, turkey, and egg & the strawberry cobbler bar, both were very delicious. The staff is very helpful and helping decide what to order, and they will bring your order to you whether you're standing, sitting or waiting outside. I went at 11 AM and it was pretty busy, lots of people sitting and hanging out, there is also outside seating as well. Lots of homemade knickknacks to purchase. The Grind has a very cozy feel with friendly staff and customers.

What happened to this place? Used to come here more often. Come Sept 2025, told that management changed in July and my points disappeared. The shift lead, Bri, took the order and said I newly signed up, but the last time I was here whuch was after July, my points were still showing up. I ordered a blended vanilla latte with oreos and which clearly did not have oreos. I ordered another drink with oreos and compared the two. I showed Bri and the guy who made it and they laughed and they were gossiping about the situation before they came to the counter. They remade my drink but it was even worse, it wasn't blended well and they forgot to add the espresso pictured below. What happened to friendly staff? The current staff are immature and don't take accountability for their actions. Terrible service and drinks. They didn't deserve the tip I gave them.

Large and delicious breast of chicken with a great bun and sauce and very good fries and tots. Tacos are in a pita bread, equally delicious and enough for two meals. Food was delicious and fresh. After a long day out we decided to eat here again and try the HOLY CLUCK TENDERS. Ughh just Ughhhh As much as we wanted to LOVE this place I have to say how disappointed we are and won't be going again. Our order: 3 piece Holy Cluck Tenders Mac and cheese Tater tots. Holy Cluck mozzarella sticks Coke Zero Kudos for the Coke Zero! Tater tots were okay Mac and cheese was delicious and better than the first visit. Seemed more fresh than what we got later in the evening the first time. Here's where our meal went downhill. Mozzarella Sticks were completely dusted with white sugar! It tasted and looked more like a churro than anything savory. So much so it was inedible. After picking one up, our fingers were covered in the sugar, dipped it into the marinara sauce thinking it would help but was equally awful. If your thing is having fried cheese for dessert, more power to you. Now the spicy tenders... More churro sugar covered the chicken. Took a bite and felt like I was chewing sand. The sugar coating was thick, sweet and gritty. So disappointed. Dessert chicken isn't our thing. Chicken and cheese sticks went straight to the trash. The Hawaiian rolls were delicious! We won't be going back.

The wait time was a little long but I came in with a big family so I'll given them the benefit of the doubt, and the food is, as they claim, hand grown and ground instead of processed and everything is fresh The burger itself was great, I didn't think it'd be that good considering I don't like tomato, but I barely even noticed it was there. About maybe a pound of food with two 1/3 pound patties and everything else added with it, what I'm assuming is a full pound. The taste was impeccable and I felt full after eating it, and I could tell it was handmade compared to processed fast food. The fries were amazing, they taste kind of like in n out animal style fries, which I do enjoy, except these were Belgium style (fried twice I think). They had a spice to them because they put jalapeño sauce in it so I'd be careful about that if your sensitive to spice, but overall great I felt very at home, it's very local and minimal with little business (except my 7 person party). The atmosphere at first feels a little unfriendly but I will definitely learn to be a regular here once I get a job and a steady income. Overall, a great restaurant in my opinion to try if you're in Victorville, big portions that is handmade, a friendly atmosphere once you get accustomed to it. There is a long wait but I had a big party and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that it's handmade, and it can be a little unwelcoming if you're there for the first time If you're wondering if there are vegetarian options, there is in the form of the happy Wilbur and happy Wilbur fries, it being made from mushroom pulled pork instead of actual pulled pork 9/10 would go again
