So I ordered the freeze. The drink itself was fine, but I asked for no whipped cream. When they called my name there was whipped cream. No big deal right? I just said "I'm sorry I asked for no whipped cream." The girl Tay then rolled her eyes and went back to her area and scooped it off with great attitude and said "who gets no whipped cream?" to baby Tay. So yeah. This place has such a large selection of coffee and their Seattle Freeze is to die for! I've never had to wait in unnecessary long lines for coffee and they even have serve yourself coffee options so you don't have to wait for just a black cup of coffee. The employees are always nice and they have cute and comfortable arm chairs to sit in. read more

You know each time I come here, it takes longer and longer to make our drinks.I can wait anywhere from 25 to 30 mins. It seems like they don't have a ton of people working at any give time, so maybe that is the issue. I do like their coffee and I usually get an iced coffee, but it's no better than any of the other places up here. I do enjoy that they have some unique flavors like the bananarama, but that's not even worth the wait. Also, I hate waiting for my drink because the layout of the store just makes me feel like I'm always in someones way no matter where I stand. I give it two stars because it's always very clean in there and I like the decor with all the musicians on the wall. The staff is always friendly, they just maybe need to hire some more people. read more

I'm really bothered right now and disappointed. There was a couple in front of me in line. It was just us there. They ordered breakfast sandwiches at 1PM! It's a coffee shop so I went there for THEIR BREAKFAST sandwiches. My fiancé works the night shift and I am 7 months pregnant. The guy rudely tells his cashier as WE ARE ORDERING breakfast sandwiches from the cashier, as he is making them right in front of us for the people that were right before us! Yells "NO MORE BREAKFAST AFTER NOON" which means 12 and it was 1! He shouldn't have treated the people in front of us special and not helped us the same way when it was 1 hour after they apparently don't make it anymore. There was no one else there ordering except us either and they were not busy. He had a terrible attitude and even worse customer service. I was literally asking for the same thing they were giving the people in front of us 2 seconds before us. I came here weekly, multiple times a week before every single doctors appointment I have, you just lost a loyal customer. read more

This is my favorite coffee shop in the high desert. Every time I come back to visit, I look forward to getting my favorite drink. The decor is very homey and cozy. They decorate for holidays which I find very important since holiday spirit isn't entirely a priority to many people nowadays. The employees are friendly and very helpful. Once they recommended a tea I did not particularly enjoy and they let me have a different drink for no cost. I always enjoy my time here, whether it's a quick coffee run or sitting at the shop and talking with friends. :) read more

I've tried it again several times since my last review because I would rather support small local businesses. I know it takes a while, even when there's only a couple customers in there, but it's gotten pretty bad. The last time, I ordered some breakfast and 2 hot drinks. We were completely done with our food and hadn't yet gotten our drinks. The cashier saw me looking around and asked the barista if they were ready and she said they weren't yet but that they would be done shortly. So I waited another 15 minutes and still no drinks. Finally the cashier checked again with the barista and then she realized she didn't even have a ticket for the order. Then why did she say they would be right up? I decided to try them again and allowed a full 45 minutes before I needed to be somewhere. The cashier took my order quickly and then I waited...and waited...and waited. I saw a woman wait 25 minutes for a bagel. She finally asked them and the girl said it would be right up and then disappeared in the back of the store for several minutes. When she returned, she continued to prepare other orders and not this poor lady's simple bagel. At this point, she hadn't even started my order and I had been waiting 30 minutes. My order consisted of 2 baked items that didn't even need warming up and an iced tea, which is already brewed and all they have to do is pour it. I eventually asked for a refund, which she gave me politely and apologetically, and left with nothing. I absolutely love their tea and food and all the employees are super sweet, but come on!!! read more

What a gem!! Great little hide away for a relaxing coffee or tea. Comfortable interior with a delightfully welcoming feel. Adorable items to catch your eye. From cups to artisan jewelry. Not to mention their yummy desert items and they also have hot sandwiches - really good. There is also outdoor seating which makes for great location for kicking back with a delicious drink for those long conversations or short chats. Either way, this is a great spot to stop by for a caffeine (or not caffeine ) fix! read more

Ordered a standard coffee at my first visit and it was good. On my second visit I ordered a cappuccino and it tasted like warm milk. For the price I paid, I wish I would have gone to Starbucks instead. From what I can tell The Grind is popular for their sugary blended drinks and not much else. Such a great place to go. The coffee and all other baked good are delicious. The staff is great and very welcoming.

The only reason why I go here is for the Seattle Freeze. When Higher Ground closed, we were without Seattle Freezes for a couple of years until the owner sold the recipe to a few local businesses. The Grind is one of them. The staff that works there is a bit young in my opinion. Not to say that younger people can't be responsible, but these guys goof off a little too often. One time I waited 30 minutes for two Seattle Freezes, and another time I waited 20 minutes. I understand that it has to be blended and mixed and whatnot but come on. The one time I waited the 30 minutes, it seems all of the employees came in to get their paychecks and they all just hung around and were laughing and goofing off. That's fine if there weren't customers waiting, but there were. I can talk when I work too, but they stopped what they were doing. It's also hard to decifer too who is the manager/supervisor. Cute place, cozy, yummy drinks. I hate when one person with a laptop takes up a four person table, but eh what can you do. read more

I've gone here a few times now to meet a friend and have found it very welcoming, friendly, clean and delish! Coffees I've had were very good, their bagels and cream cheese are quite good and generous, their grilled cheese sandwiches are wonderful! My next visit will be for a Seattle Freeze, which everyone raves about. Also love their unique little gifts around. Delicious coffee drinks, my favorite is ice mocha. The chocolate is a really good quality. They have a nice food menu also. The breakfast sandwiches are yummy. I recently tried a club wrap and it was so big, I had to save 1/2 for another meal! There's a nice patio as well as a lovely interior which is quiet comfortable. read more

I will say I haven't been there later in the evening around closing time so I'm not sure if they are still closing up early, but the employees are much nicer than they have been in previous years.
