    $7 watery iced coffee
    Giana S.

Everything here could be better. I'd be here every day if the coffee was good. $7 for a small iced coffee with half & half... it is extremely watery and has a sour edge. Disappointed. Please make changes, it's a great location

Always a hit or miss which how it taste! It can't ever taste the same... I've been going everyday for the past 2 weeks and today I got the same thing I always get and lo and behold it tasted different from what I normally get. It was a nasty different! I got in car, drove away and opened my lid to take a sip (it's a HOT Mexican mocha) well, it hit my nose and smelled so bad! It also had a taste to it! Idk if they're not cleaning and washing their dishes/machines right but I won't be going back! I'm so turned off and it was a $8 drink! No thank you! Please stay consistent or close to consistent with the way it taste or else you will loose customers! Taste like spoiled milk idk how to explain it

Couldn't find them! Maps directed us to a vacant lot so I called & was told there were next to The British Open Pub so we went but they weren't next to them. Had to drive around the strip mall & finally found the suite number on the door. THERE IS NO SIGNAGE to let you know it's them. I'll try to update once we've actually tried their products.

I went to their new location. Friendly staff, great coffee and amazing Carrot Cake muffin.

Warm and welcoming staff, free WiFi, ample seating, various coffee/tea selection and pastry/snack options! Came in on a Monday around 11 am for a coffee/snack and get some work done. Ordered a dirty chai latte which was yummy and not too sweet. The staff was knowledgeable and happy to answer any of our questions! There are baked goods and snack options available from local bakeries in Bluffton and Savannah. They also offer burritos from Under Ground Burritos in Bluffton. You are also able to bring in your own cup/travel cup to use!

We thought we'd try giving GR a try after a friend recommended. I'm so glad we listened! We loved the table outside and we'll go back to use them later, but y'all, there were a few cold days in December! The menu is kind of small but really good selection. We even went back the next day before leaving the island! Nice atmosphere, nice people, great coffee.

Very cute well decorated coffee shop. Feels cozy like sitting in your living room. Free wifi and good seating options for working. Good coffee and tea selections. No decaf options though Parking: free lot available Ambiance: cozy and casual Price: very affordable. 4.50 for a latte. 3$ for a 12oz brew of the day. Service: friendly knowledgeable staff See YouTube for video tour @kaybooms321

Too much foam and too airy. Poor bean taste.

I haven't had this poor of an espresso drink since I really can't remember. I should have know better after the first sip, but then I had an unfortunate second sip and it was a confirming NO! It was weak and bad tasting. My husband pointed out our first indication of a possible bad cappuccino was the offer of a 12 or 16 oz. cap. By definition, 12oz is no longer in the cappuccino category for 2 shots. This is not craft coffee. Then there was the copious amount of airy foam. Not even close to a nice tight and smooth foam. Forget a fancy espresso machine ....it doesn't help this place at all. I never recommend Starbucks, however you would be better off having them make a cappuccino for you than here.

The restaurant feels clean, inviting, and well thought out. One area that could use improvement is signage. The property has a drive-thru lane and drive-thru windows, which naturally led me to assume there was drive-thru service available. After circling the building, I realizing it wasn't operational, not a major issue, but clearer signage would help eliminate confusion for first-time visitors. Once inside, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which is exactly what I've come to expect from Island Bagel. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the standard I've experienced at their other locations. I ordered the Lowcountry Breakfast Sandwich. The bagel was under-toasted, and the eggs were overcooked. While "stale" may not be the perfect word, the eggs gave the impression that they had been sitting for a while rather than being freshly prepared. The fresh, made-to-order quality I've come to associate with Island Bagel simply wasn't there during this visit. I'm hopeful this experience was an exception rather than the norm. Based on my past experiences with the company, I know they're capable of delivering much better. While this particular visit fell short of my expectations, I would still encourage people to give Island Bagel a try, whether at this location or one of their others. My hope is that this was simply an off day and that future visits better reflect the quality I've come to expect from the brand. Disclaimer: This review is based solely on my first visit to Island Bagel & Deli's new location. It is not necessarily representative of every experience I've had with the company. I've visited other Island Bagel locations in the past and have generally been very impressed. I believe reviews should be honest reflections of a specific experience while also providing constructive feedback that helps both future customers and the business itself.p

Staff was friendly. But the avocado toast was on ciabatta bread (no one asked what kind of bread we wanted) and it was such a slim layer of avocado. Very disappointed. What I don't know is whether they have changed their toast for all locations and reduced the amount of avocado or was this a fluke or only typical of the Bluffton location. We will go back to the port royal location sometime this week because now I need to know! Oh and we tried the roasted potatoes which I have never tried before. The flavors/herbs were good but the potatoes were not cooked fresh so they were soft/chewy.

We were informed there's no pancakes and no waffles. Strike 1. We ordered the crab cake bene, the original shrimp and grits and the French toast with scramble. The French toast was fine. Nothing special. The scramble however was a complete joke. They clearly have a vat of their "side eggs" just ready for the scoopin. They were cold and oh so dry. My sister's crab cake entree was absolutely disgusting. The crab cake was orange on the inside, it was mushy and no discernible taste of crab whatsoever. It looked like a dark brown salmon patty my mama would make with a Double Q. The shrimp and grits. Wow and not in a good way. 50 percent of the bowl was onions. Both raw (and almost raw) onions and green onions. There were FOUR shrimp that were absolutely TINY (about the size of a Wild West shrimp from Longhorn) and they had the poop STILL IN THEM. Did I mention that this cost us ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS!?!?!? I want to stress again.... Our server was great. I always feel guilty writing bad reviews but I just had to be honest. Yelp ya steered us the wrong way on this one.

The staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming every time I visit. Their coffee stands out--it's smooth with a nice nutty flavor, and I really appreciate that they offer decaf (something a lot of places skip). The pastries are consistently tasty. I'm especially fond of their vegan almond croissant, which is flaky and flavorful. They have a good variety overall, though popular items can sell out if you arrive later in the morning because they close in the early afternoon. The space itself is relaxed. Indoor seating is limited but comfortable and laid-back--perfect for a quick sit-down. When the weather is nice, there's plenty of outdoor seating, which is a big plus. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, which is always a nice touch. The only real downside is that it can get quite busy, leading to longer lines during peak times. That said, it's a minor issue for the quality and vibe you get here. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Thankfully it went pretty fast though. There were no tables inside, so we luckily found a shaded area outside. I ordered the Toasted Coast iced latte and added vanilla cold foam; unfortunately I didn't taste the coconut or amaretto and it primarily tasted like chocolate which was my least favorite ingredient. We also ordered an almond croissant which was very good! I highly recommend getting it warmed up! The yogurt parfait was good once again, but had very little granola this time, unlike the first time I ordered. Unfortunately, they were out of sourdough so my daughter ordered the breakfast sandwich with a GF bagel instead (the only alternate option). She said it was just okay, but definitely had too much bread and wasn't super flavorful. We'll visit again, but will keep trying new things until we find our favorites (already found the almond croissant though)!
