Do not eat here if you have any food allergies as the staff are not trained. We were here for dinner this evening. It's high tourist seasons and all the restaurants had long waits. Our kid has a severe nut allergy. We told the maitre d' about it and asked whether the pesto is made with nuts. She assured us that "nothing is made with nuts here." We asked her if she could please double check but she said she was sure. Feeling assured, we proceeded to wait 20 minutes for our table only to be told by our waiter after we sat down that the pesto is indeed made with nuts. These guys overcook anything that is fried! I have now had both their fingers steaks and their tater tots on multiple occasions and they have always been overcooked! My grandpa had the gluten free pizza and said it was amazing!! They do play good music tho! read more

The host who seated us (who I assume was a manager or owner due to his age) made me a bit uncomfortable. He wouldn't make eye contact with us and I couldn't figure out when he was talking to us or someone else. The servers weren't rude but seemed very disinterested in their jobs. Food was ok but overpriced. If you're into that typical neighborhood pizza place aesthetic, find someplace else. This place is a COVID super spreader waiting to happen. Staff wore masks, but the packed every table. There was no Social Distancing in a small space. We had the Buffalo burgers, and they were OK. Onion Rings were very good. I do not believe they got the COVID Memo or following good practices. read more

We visited West Yellowstone in between the typical "seasons". Our visit in mid October meant half the stores and restaurants were shuttered. We spotted the sign outside Gushers on Wednesday night that denoted "spaghetti night", and since I was ravenous after a day in the park, we decided to give it a try. It's a little awkward when you walk in, since the restaurant occupies both sides of a split storefront. Just go to the left and wait for a host, and they'll take it from there. The spaghetti was plentiful and delicious, accompanied by garlic bread. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. read more

My husband, 10-month-old and I came here for an early dinner on a Monday. We'd had pizza for lunch so opted for other fare; we were disappointed. He had the patty melt with a side salad. The salad was a joke; he guessed that it was simply the toppings for a hamburger that doubles as a salad -- but then he found one tiny cucumber chopping. The patty melt was frozen and reheated, and the bread it was on was so drenched in butter that he had a stomach ache as we left. I had chicken fingers and fries, which should be pretty straightforward. But the chicken had been fried too long and was overly greasy; the fries were average. The best thing on the plate was the overly buttery garlic bread. I ended up with a stomach ache an hour later. The service was also slow and indifferent, particularly after the dining room started filling up. I had to ask for drink refills twice. read more

Ordered a chef salad which consisted of iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes and cucumbers. Deli meat thrown on top, not even shredded, some cheese and a boiled egg. Staff was amazing - we got into town late on Wednesday, found The Gusher on Yelp and headed that way. As we arrived they were putting the closed sign up, but still let us come in and eat. The pizza was amazing - not a single piece was left. Our waiter came back multiple times to check on us, but was never pushy to try and get us out the door so they could close. And my daughter said it was the best chocolate milk ever. Definitely a place we will return to if we are in the area again! read more

We ate here our first night in town, as it was right next door to the Inn we were staying at. The service was decent. They had Coke products which we hadn't seen since leaving our home state. Lured in by the giant "PIZZA" sign on the front of the building, we were skeptical about what kind of pizza we would find in this small town. Well, we needn't have worried, the pizza was delicious! My husband and I both had personal size "build your own" pizzas. He had Italian sausage, wild game sausage, onions and jalapeños on his. I had fresh mushrooms and sliced black olives on mine. You can choose your sauce as well, and we both had traditional red sauce. It was served on a crust that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We devoured every bite! Nice little bar. Went back a second night due to the bartender Andre. Very sweet and he takes his job seriously. His customer service skills are excellent!! The food is a bit pricey, but good. Was good enough that it was the only restaurant in West Yellowstone I visited twice. First visit my friends and I shared a medium taco pizza that was delicious, but could have used a tad bit less lettuce. Second visit had a burger, patty was pre-made / frozen but tasted good none-the-less. My only complaint is the whole place seems to be stuck in some weird 1980's time warp; from the arcade games, to the decor, to the fact that you have to buy a pitcher of soda to be able to have a refill. Was visiting Yellowstone for a couple days and ate here on the second day. We got there and the guy taking our order could hardly speak English and it was a lot more complicated to order than it should've been. The food was fast, and that is the reason they even get the second star. The pizza was okay. I would compare it to something I would get from a local little league baseball game. When it was time to leave, (25 minutes later) we had to find our receipt to show we'd already paid. The three people that took our order and working around the register completely forgot we paid. Save yourself some time and go to the Firehole Bar-B-Que just a couple streets over. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. read more
