Easily one of the best Greek spots in the area. I'm noticing a lot of franchises popping up and I'm happy for the success. It's well deserved. The food quality and aesthetic is superb and I just love how the aesthetic of the restaurant feels. Theres a small little grocery section in each Gyro Project that showcases real and authentic Greek ingredients and food selections. Theres service, the vibes and the food are all top tier!

My husband and I came here for dinner this week and the food was delicious! This location just opened last week and the line was still out the door. The staff was very friendly, the service was good, and the food came out fairly fast. I had the lamb and beef platter with french fries, a cucumber and tomato salad, pita bread and tzatziki and everything was very tasty, especially the tzatziki. The portion was generous- I ended up taking some home. My husband had the halloumi bowl which came with fried halloumi sticks (which were amazing), and his choice of two sides and two sauces. He had the dolmades (also yummy) and fries, as well as the hot harissa (which he raved about) and the baba ghanoush. Overall, we enjoyed the food very much and will likely come again!

Waited over an hour for 1 bowl. Place was chaos and no apology was offered. Order ended up being incorrect.

Cute little cafe in Closter! They have some unique flavors and the employees are very friendly. I…read moreended up trying out the Ham & Cheese Croissant and the chocolate chip cookie. Croissant was SO GOOD - the cheese was really melty and the croissant was so fresh and flakey. The chocolate chip cookie was also really good - you can tell they use really good quality chocolate and it was one of those cookies where the crust is crunchy and the middle part is softer. The cookie also had a ton of chocolate so definitely a must try if you like your cookies with less dough (but not overly sweet!) Overall, would come back to try other pastries. TIP: Gets crowded on the weekends with bikers. Go early or late afternoon to ensure you get parking. They do have a parking lot but it can fill up fast.

The shop is small but they use the space wisely, nice counter filled with one hit after the other. Literally everything in there looks magnificent. Today I went with a double shot of espresso and a chocolate peanut butter chip cookie. Service is prompt and professional. We sat at a picnic table outside the bakery. The espresso was quite good, nice well rounded flavor. The cookie was decadence personified! Chocolatey, pops of peanut butter, in a perfectly chewy cookie. Really enjoyed La Tabatiere!
