Took my mom for lunch before Mother's Day. Had a wonderful experience. We started with the Hampton (Vie vite?) Rosé which was dry, how we prefer it. We wanted to split the lobster roll and Cesar salad with chicken for lunch. Our server, Kim, picked up on this and offered to split it. Both came out and were perfect portions. The Manhattan lobster roll was delicious and definitely plenty of butter! The Cesar was amazing and to die for, but be careful, there was cilantro to garnish which we didn't notice on the menu if it was there, we are not fans. It was perfectly dressed and the right amount of crunch. After lunch we split the Frose which was delicious and also split for us. Kim was a fabulous server and made the experience. Loved the atmosphere - it was spacious, clean and trendy. Will be dining again and asking for Kim! read more

This was a last minute pick the Yelp community had helped us decide on. Man, it was worth it. Here's the scoop: they took COVID measures seriously. We loved that. The place right next to it, The Blue Martini, dude, not even the bouncer had a mask on. Typical What The Florida moment. The Hampton Social asks you to where masks until seated, checks your temperature, their team members where masks, and they seat with social distance guidelines in place. Fantastic way to show your patrons and restaurant team that you care about their health. As far as food, I had the traditional lobster roll, not the cold one with mayo from Maine, but true traditional with melted butter and warm lobster, only in Naples, not CT. Every bite was delicious. It was flavorful, fresh, and it was held together with two warmly toasted garlic breads. Ordered it with fries and skipped the house chips. Shame they took out the parm fries. They were good! My wife had the short rib and you may not think it is a lot of food when it arrives, but is a lot more than you think. Each bite felt so tender. It's so easy to overcook this dish, but the chefs knew what they were doing. My wife then had the I Glitterly Can't cocktail and we both thought it was tasty, and I am not a cocktail guy. Cuba Libre for me, or any local IPA or stout. For apps, go for the calamari. Squeeze some lemon on it. Tasty. My only complaint is that the lighting isn't all that good, but it's supposed to be a bar/indoor club kinda vibe, and that's fine, too. We will comeback soon! read more

Great food, great scenery, great energy in this place. We came here on a Saturday evening are first time going. In season so yes it was super busy, but we got a seat in the bar area. This place has more than enough space honestly. I ordered the chicken wings and parmesan fries and it wasn't that great at all. But I wanted to give it another try the following day, but for brunch and the food was amazing. The waiters can do better at checking on their tables but overall everything is great with this place. This review was difficult because are some cons and pros which made it difficult to review. I came here for brunch on Sunday with a decent size group. It wasn't busy at all. The decor is beautiful and definitely picture worthy. The drinks are also beautiful and tasty. I ordered a frozen and it was absolutely refreshing and Instagram famous. The first big issue is that they ran out of stuff. My friend tried to order 3 different entrees but they were sold out, which is odd because it was prime brunch time and not that busy. We ordered some appetizers for the table brussel sprouts, calamari, crab with butter sauce. The brussel sprouts were dynamite!!! They had a cilantro honey sauce. Probably the best brussel sprouts that I've had. The other appetizers were ok. I ordered the chicken cilantro salad which was also fresh, clean, and enjoyable. However my other friends were not happy with their choices. The service was also lacking. In total, I would come back for drinks, salad, and brussel sprouts! These were all 5 stars, but they need to work on running out of food and service!! Get the frose! read more

Had a girls brunch at Hampton Social. It was my first time there and I'd heard lovely things, but I'm sad to say I was quite disappointed with the service. The issues we had were numerous, and included untimely service and an ungracious waitress. The wait was over an hour to even order our food, which is absurd on its own, but to add insult to injury... the food for the youngest at the table (a baby who isn't even 1 years old yet) didn't even arrive. It was salmon, cooked well done, and it was ordered first, with the explicit instructions to be brought out ASAP, since it's for the baby (and they need their food first at restaurants). After many cries, everyone else's food coming out, many attempts at consoling the baby, and reminders of the order to the waitress and the hostess, it finally came out. The other big issue was the waitress who had an attitude when we finally were able to order our food. The scoffs and the rolling of eyes were not appreciated. It really ruined the experience at a restaurant I had heard raves about and was excited to finally try. read more

Just finished a visit to an establishment we generally love! Had an incident where a waiter unfortunately dropped a tray and got red sauce all over my wife's new white expensive pants. All we got was an "I'm sorry". What was their problem now became mine spending nearly an hour at home working to get the multiple large stains out of my wife's pants. We have always loved our many, many visits but probably won't be back after the really poor response to their issue management here. Love! Love! Love! The food here is splendid. We loved the ambience, the plating and of course the flavors. The staff is professional and very clearly want to make your experience a memorable one. We ordered crab fritters and the jar of crab legs. The crab fritters were delicious and the sauce had a great balance. The jar of crab legs is just decadent. For our entrees we ordered the Manhattan lobster roll, generous and buttery and the Seared Ahi Tuna Sandwich. That sandwich was superb, the flavors were intricate and I loved the marriage of heat and sweetness, truly wonderful. I passed on my compliments to the chef on that one. Our desserts we got the Berries and Crumble dish, I can't recall the exact title but it was so fresh! And we ordered the flourless chocolate cake which altogether didn't blow my socks off but was also very good. Altogether the evening was perfection. read more

Recently had a great experience having lunch at Hampton Social. Our server Kim was friendly and efficient. The assistant manager, Natalie stopped by and seemed genuinely interested in our experience. The octopus appetizer was delicious and more then enough for a meal. The tonnato sauce was great! I would order it again except there were other items that I would love to try. My friend ordered the fish tacos, it came with 3 really good tacos and was also a generous and delicious meal. Unfortunately after enjoying our meal there was no room for dessert. Hopefully we can leave room next time. read more

We visited this place for the first time last night and were PLEASANTLY surprised. Mercato is full of "upscale" chain restaurants that are underwhelming and overpriced. We expected this to be the same and I'm so happy to say we were wrong. While there are other locations around the country you can tell a lot of care has gone into making this place special. From the decor and music, to the service and fare, this place is unlike any place else in the area. We shared a couple of appetizers and tried 4 cocktails. Not one item was a disappointment. We can't wait to go back and the only reason I'd be reluctant to recommend it to anyone is because I know it will make it impossible to get a table! We even had the opportunity to meet the bar tending trainer from their corporate offices named Greg. He made great recommendations and made our visit truly special. After multiple visits I decided to leave a review. Weather it is brunch, lunch or dinner, Hampton Social never disappoints. Brunch is hard to pass up because the menu is so good. I highly suggest the avocado toast and the roasted Brussels sprouts. The burrata on the avocado toast is so creamy and sets off the colors and roasted tomatoes. Brussels sprouts were something as a child I did not like but food trends have a way of making a childhood food nightmare a dream. The Brussels sprouts here are a must have!! The goat cheese and chili honey is amazing!! Do yourself a favor and make sure to order the sprouts!! You will not be disappointed!! read more

She was kind enough to show me the private dining room that is available for events. The food didn't quite satisfy our palettes and menu could offer a little more options. Nonetheless, we had the crab & shrimp Bruchetta which was okay but would've preferred if the bread wasn't so soft. My friend had the glazed steak w/ asparagus & street corn which was cooked perfectly but left more to be desired. I had the "spicy "rigatoni and added chicken. The sauce wasn't too spicy but it didn't adhere to the noodles so it tasted plain while the soupy sauce sat in the bottom of the bowl. It tasted better the next day and by adding fresh parmesan cheese. The brunch menu looks appealing so I am hoping that the brunch would match the decor read more

Great location and decor. Wonderful venue but can only give 3 stars since the food and drink menu changed. Frequented Hampton Social many times in the past but cannot recommend this place anymore since there are many other restaurants in the local area that offer better menu options. During our last dining experience my wife asked if she could substitute the vegetable that came with her dinner. Our server told us no because the chef doesn't allow substitutions. We thought this to be rather odd that we couldn't sub asparagus for another veggie. This ended up being the last straw for us. So, unfortunately after several recent disappointing dining experiences we made the decision to take Hampton Social off our list of dining options. Beautiful restaurant. We stopped in for lunch. Our waitress, Angela was very courteous and attentive. My husband ordered the shelter island chicken sandwich with fries and really enjoyed it. I was expecting smaller portions for lunch, so I ordered way too much food! I ordered the golden beet salad, which was fantastic, and was entree sized. I also ordered the pomodoro pizza. It was maybe a 10 inch pizza and could've easily served 2-3 people. We took that home! It was great too. read more
