Absolutely impeccable. The specialty margaritas were to die for- the salmon melted in my mouth, the ahi was seared to perfection. Everything we tried was above and beyond... I had never been to Henry before and was very impressed with the service, our server was the sweetest and very helpful. Everything is a bit more upscale here in my opinion, and its price reflects that! But if you want something a bit more fancy, with some really fun drinks and delicious food, this is a great spot. We sat on the covered patio which was lovely, we had the shrimp cocktail , some sushi, a turkey dip sandwich and bread pudding for dessert and we really enjoyed everything. The outside patio is lovely. We had no problem hearing each other at all. All of the staff must have been hired for their big smiles and outgoing personalities. They are delightful, even if there was a mistake! One in our party ordered the short ribs, but was served the filet mignon instead. It was a mixup when we were served the orders that were very similar to what the next table ordered. We didn't realize until the end when they discovered the mistake and told us. It was done in such a pleasant truthful manner. I think my order was the best at the table: Scottish salmon with caramelized sweet potatoes and crispy sweet potato skin strips served over toasted quinoa with almond pesto and pomegranate glaze. The seared ahi tuna, one of our guests ordered, looked good, too. BYW, our drinks were delightful: the greatest neighborhood margarita and Hank's Espresso Martini. It's quite difficult to acquire a weekend reservation for dinner, so, off hours, like 4pm are available, as are breakfast and lunch reservations. WE WILL BE BACK! read more

Had a great lunch here today with my mom and sisters! Andy was a fun, professional server who made the experience even better. We started with the short rib potstickers, which were so delicious! 10/10! The covered patio was nice, though we had to move inside due to a swarm of large bees hanging around the patio. The staff handled it quickly and were super accommodating with us going inside. Service across the board was excellent. The harvest bowl and club sandwich were both yummy. After lunch, we grabbed a couple of coffees, super good and bold. Both recommended by one of the GM on site (wish I caught her name--she had a floral/tropical top and white shoes!). So sweet and helpful! Overall, a great vibe--yes, it's a bit on the pricey side, but with the quality service and food, it's worth it. So glad the Forum finally has a Henry! read more

Why not use plain yogurt rather than a berry one if you're drizzling honey all over it? Good crafted coffee but high priced in my opinion. Beautiful remodel, inside and out, though the daytime, almost constant delivery trucks were quite irritating with noise and exhaust. At one time, three trucks were running next to the tables. First time here after hearing good things from friends. I was a pretty disappointed with the service. We didn't receive water until after we ordered our entrees. Our waitress was extremely nice when she was around. I wouldn't say she was the most attentive though. We had to ask for drink refills multiple times and even then we only received refills when we asked another waiter or manager. I would say that the management staff picked up most of the slack from our waitress by refilling drinks, grabbing boxes, and running our card when the bill came. On the bright side, the food was good and I thought the atmosphere was great. I've now been here several times for personal and business and it's hands down a favorite. We are food/drink snobs and it's a delicate dance to manage a table with a business meeting-they absolutely nailed it (even our server in training most recently). Tried almost every dish on the menu and every single one was amazing, the spicy skinny margarita is one of the best I've had in the area,the staff across the board is eager to deliver an exceptional experience and does so. Thrilled to have this place nearby! For the lady on the reviews who commented on the hostess's dress "blowing up on a windy day"...do better! This only causes our young people excited to work their first jobs and showing up with positivity to unnecessarily feel overwhelmed and deflated with those unfair horrible words. I arrived at The Henry Carlsbad about 20 minutes early for my reservation, hoping to be seated a bit ahead of time since I had other things to take care of. Despite seeing many open tables, the two hostesses were extremely rude and dismissive. Rather than being accommodating, they made me stand outside in the sun and didn't offer any courtesy or explanation. Also my reservation was 8/15 at 2:45pm. What made things worse was how unprofessional their attire was. One hostess was wearing a black flowy dress, and due to the wind, it left very little to the imagination--the dress flew up and you could see everything underneath. She wasn't even wearing shorts under just the underwear thong, completely inappropriate for a professional setting. The other, in a checkered dress, was particularly cold and unpleasant. She stood there watching me wait without any acknowledgment or courtesy, even though I had a confirmed reservation. I've never experienced this kind of poor attitude and lack of professionalism from a front-of-house team. The outfits worn by the host staff were not only unflattering but wildly unsuitable for the role. That said, my server once I was finally seated was fantastic--Kalen was great 10/10 service from her--the food took a little longer than usual but tasted good. But the experience with the hostess team was enough to leave a very sour taste. I hope management reconsiders their front desk staff's training and dress code standards. This was our second time here. The first visit was their soft opening in July 2025 and it needed work. However, this experience was great. Even though we were there at noon on a Friday, we didn't experience any delays or issues. We had a reservation and were seated immediately inside per our request. Our waiter, Taylor, was there instantly. We ordered the turkey dip and salmon entree and soft drinks. The drinks were served very fast. The meal came within 15 minutes. The turkey dip was very good. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had a nice crust on it. The sweet potatoes served with it were very good but too sweet for my taste. The side order of garlic bread was good but not memorable. Since it was our anniversary, Taylor brought us a complimentary desert- lemon cake with vanilla ice cream. It was served beautifully with blueberries and whipped cream. The floor manager came by and asked us if everything was ok. I appreciate it when a restaurant does that. I really wanted to love this place, as this type of vibe is needed in our area. Unfortunately, my first visit fell short. My friend and I both ordered the chicken avocado salad for lunch. The chicken on my salad was full of gristle, and there was a bone in the salad. It also had no avocado, which they later brought out for me. All of the staff were lovely and apologetic.. relaying to us that it was on the house. still hungry, I ordered some fondue which was delicious. we had coffee and the butter cake- both great. when the check came, my salad and the dessert (for a birthday ) were comped--- but nothing else. overall, some of the food was good, but communication with guests needs improvement. And FYI, Don't order the salad if you're expecting chicken breast. read more
