Thank you Colin for your service during our first time at your restaurant! You really made our visit to Dallas memorable. The food is fantastic! And I am SO glad they have locations in Houston and LA too. Our group had the fried tuna app which had the best crunch from the soft from avocado. Chef's kiss. Followed by their burger and sea bass tacos. I can't speak to the tacos but my husband loved them and so did my friend. My burger was very filling and the truffle fries were salted to perfection and the right crunch. We were mostly full from our food but Colin was kind enough to let us try the fudge pie (I think is what it's called) he described it as a Reese's cup pie and nailed it. SO SO delicious. This is the perfect date, brunch, friend hang out spot. The building is beautiful. We sat inside but the outside looked just as welcoming. It's a very nice restaurant and look forward to exploring other locations soon. I didn't take pictures of the main courses but here's the app. Oh hubby also had the wildflower and his words "this is real coffee". lol. We loved our experience!

Nice vibes at the Henry. This one a my third time going to the Henry, not sure why I never wrote a review.. or did I... Anyway we arrived today on a Saturday evening around 5ish and was seated immediately. We ordered The classic Caesar Braised Short rib Egg fried rice Everything was fine, but since I don't speak French I had no idea that the short rib came with blue cheese lol. The egg fried rice wasn't a big portion like I thought it would be but it was fine, I did think it would taste just an Asian restaurant fried rice, but it didn't. Overall yes, I'd go back and this time I think I'll go upstairs.

Last night in Dallas and we were in search of a good happy hour. The moment we stepped into The Henry, we were in love. We went upstairs first, which was a completely different vibe, with a Hawaiian tiki bar theme. We got a few drinks and apps, which were delish. Most of the drinks were around $9 and the selected apps were $4-5 off. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts! They offer "bites" versions of the entrees as well. We decided we wanted entrees from the full menu, so transitioned downstairs where the ambiance was perfect and classy. Joseph provided us with great service, and gave us a good rundown of the menu. We ordered the Korean skirt steak, braised short ribs, and sea bass. Everything was AMAZING, definitely 10/10! And you know we couldn't leave without dessert. We decided to try the lemon olive oil cake, molten butter cake, and bread pudding. Everything was literally chef's kiss, so much so that I had to request for Chef Khan to come out and let him know myself. Anytime I'm back in Dallas, The Henry is a must!

Great ambiance, delicious food and Kate was an awesome waitress. Will definitely be back!

My coworkers who used to work/still do here always say great things about the food and I've always wanted to try! After a rough week, I finally got the opportunity to try. My go-to drink is an espresso martini. My friend told me that it's very sweet and not adjustable because it's batched before. I still wanted to try it though. The Hank's Espresso Martini was good, but indeed very sweet. I also got to try the Seasonal Sangria. It was good and refreshing, but nothing too crazy. Food wise, I ordered the Short Rib Potstickers and the Roasted Chicken and Avocado salad. The Short Rib Potstickers were solid and flavorful. The Roasted Chicken and Avocado salad is basically a cobb salad. It was good as well. Service was efficient and straight to the point, he did what he had to do which was good! Ambiance is casual, but also nice! Definitely suites downtown Dallas vibes and scenery. The interior is nice and my coworker told me upstairs is where a cocktail bar is for happy hour too! We sat downstairs, but it was nice with all the natural lighting. Definitely would come back! Also validated parking was so easy which is not common in downtown which is good as well :-)

Service was amazing! We sat outside on a Wednesday night and the vibes were great. We ordered a few different things, a salmon Caesar, a crab cake, a burger, and the fries. Everything was very tasty. The aioli for the fries was especially good. We were considering a bread pudding but backed out at the last minute- well our wonderful server brought us one out on him!! Do not sleep on this bread pudding with caramel icecream. It was the very best I have ever had. There's no Henry in my city but I'll be on the lookout for future travels!

Came back here for a part 2! This time the seats were much nicer and not as cramped (I was on the balcony with the nicest views at night) Just like before, I got the short rib pot stickers which are fantastic as usual. Really liking the ponzu and cilantro with the potstickers - a combination I wasn't expected but worked out so nicely. Rigatoni alla vodka was nice - I'd get it again. Burrata cheese was a fantastic addition and made the dish well-rounded. The breaded crumbs made it gently crispy - I really enjoyed how it all tied together. Dessert was the best - loved the lemon olive oil cake and coulis, mascarpone, gelato that tied everything together so well. I was easily blown away by this part - did not expect the strawberry, lemon, gelato and mascarpone to create its own unique flavor profile that slaps! Molten butter cake had more bread than expected and was a bit of a letdown. Not enough caramel inside. I still enjoyed how fluffy and delicious it was! Points for fluffiness.

Consistency with the quality of food and service Love this location specially early summer Few different plates vs the one at the cosmo (my regular) definitely recommend if not sure where to go and close to downtown Really good environment must try for new options

Short Rib Potstickers - not a big fan, the stuffing had a weird creamy texture

Unfortunately I would not come back here. We came here on a Saturday night to celebrate my daughter's birthday. She has a gluten allergy so I called during the day to confirm they can accommodate her allergy, they gave me all the reassurance. Let me preface by saying our server was SUPER kind but that wasn't good enough to make up for the evening. We were seated outside and waited forever for our server to show up. I had to flag another server and ask him to find ours. He came back and said "apparently I am your server!" Okay so you didn't even know we were your table? He also had a huge party he was servicing so I knew it was going to be a long night. By the time he came we already knew what we wanted for drinks and apps. He said the truffle fries were not gluten free, so I asked him to go double check, turns out they in fact were. The spicy tuna crispy rice was good but Brussel sprouts too salty. For dinner I had an entire conversation with him about what are "smashed potatoes" and are they gluten free and he said they were. When they brought out my daughter's steak and side, they brought a baked potato. He came and said the baked potato is gluten free. I told him I know but I wanted the gluten free smashed potatoes and he said "oh okay I'll have them make one on the fly." I'm still very unclear as to why that was so confusing. Before dinner came out my husband and I had ordered another glass of wine. Dinner came and we finished dinner and our wines still hadn't arrived. I said I still want mine (6 oz glass) and my husband sent his back. When my glass arrived it was 9 oz and he said don't worry he'll charge for the 6 oz. For dessert he offered to comp any dessert we wanted. It was a nice gesture but none of the desserts sounded that great and also no GF options. Now for the bill. He charged us for the smashed potatoes even though that was his mistake. And the second glass of wine I ordered he charged me for the 9 oz instead of 6 oz. It was bad enough I got charged at all given the delay, how much time does it take to literally pour a glass of wine. We were so exhausted and had run out of patience that we didn't even fight it. So all in all; super disappointed and won't be back.

Went with a party of 7 on a Saturday night for a birthday dinner. Everything was fantastic! We ordered 3x spicy tuna crispy rice, 3x short rib potstickers, pretzels and fondue, truffle fries for apps. All were delicious. Everybody had various entrees and gave positive reviews all around. Louis was our server and he was excellent. Service was prompt and everything came out as expected. I forgot how great the espresso martinis are! I've been trying to make myself like sushi by ordering it 2-3x/week. The spicy tuna crispy rice is the first one I've actually enjoyed. I'm thrilled! Will be back for more. Thanks Louis!

Very aesthetically pleasing restaurant with a variety of items on the menu. Cute spot for a brunch with friends or a date. Prices are on the higher end. Came for brunch on a Sunday, were able to get a table right away. The service was great, though the food was slow to come out (no fault of the server). Tried the quiche & spicy tuna and crispy rice. Both solid options, the spicy tuna & crispy rice was the star of the show.

My friends and I went to The Henry for a post Christmas brunch. Such a great place to go for a big group to get together. Servers are wonderful and have fun recommendations for food and drinks. Parking is available in the near by garage and also offers parking validation for free parking with dining.

The rooftop was such a vibe. It was cold when I went and they have heaters on. The food was great, and we got free birthday dessert.

Ask the Community - The Henry

What are the best dishes for dinner?

For an appetizer, the short rib potstickers are delectable. For mains, the burger and rotisserie chicken are great! If you’ve got a vegetarian in the group, the harvest bowl is fantastic.

Is this place a good spot for a group happy hour?

Yes! Good food, drinks, ambience and service!

    What is the dress code?

Honestly, there really isn't a dress code

    How is the parking?

They have valet service and there are also options for self park

How cold is roof top for Xmas experience?

It's very warm. They have a lot of heaters and fires going.

    What's the noise level like?

I went on a Friday night to the upstairs area and it was pretty loud since they have a DJ. It's hard to have a conversation.

    Is this place family friendly?

-ish maybe. Older kids who can behave or little ones who will quietly eat fries. But it would be totally lost on my crew.

Do you need a reservation if you're just going for drinks?

You can seat yourself upstairs at the bar for just drinks and smaller menu. The seating downstairs is for reservations and fuller menu.

    Do staff wear masks?

    Yes all staff did!

Do they have set menu for birthday party?

Not that I know of...probably not.

Any private ish space for a large party?

    What is the lunch attire?

The store at The Henry is always casual, yet presentable

    How is the parking?

There's valet for $8 I believe OR a parking garage, you can get your ticket validated... so FREE!

Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

WILL NEVER BE BACK!…read more HATED. EVERY. MOMENT. OF. THIS. PISS. POOR. EXPERIENCE. EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT. VALET. NOT. FREE. I called before deciding where to eat on a Sunday afternoon to confirm parking situations. Parking is not easy downtown so this played a huge factor in figuring where, out of the dozens of brunch places, to eat. Definitely a bit of a walk to get accommodated at the actual restaurant so valet seemed the most reasonably enticing for parking solutions. Well, I called and spoke with the lady at the front desk. I confirmed with this little girl FOUR TIMES IF 1. They had valet available today 2. If it was complimentary. Come to find out it was not complimentary. And $7 for parking just doesn't sit well with me when there are ample free options else where with satisfying beverage, meal, ambiance, and service. All of which, I DID NOT GET AT HAYWIRE. I come in and although I had a reservation that I was 10 minutes early for while noticing tables available, I was told by that same girl who lied to me about parking I needed to take a seat. Reassuring me that it would only take two minutes to be seated. 10 minutes later I see coupled and groups walking in and guess what? They were immediately sat. While I am waiting to be sat at one of the three clean tables I'm staring at. I finally tell my boyfriend I am about to eat at the bar and he goes to the hostess stand to inform them our frustration and guess what? We were sat immediately. I get seated and there are two standing fans placed next to my table that's blowing my hair all over the f*****g place. I had to tell them to turn them off. What? No AC in this place either?? We immediately ordered and got the elk tacos for an appetizer. The tacos are WAY too spicy and way too salty. Too spicy AND too salty?? They're a no for me. You literally can't taste anything because of both! I HATED these little tacos. Probably the worst I've ever had. Ever seen someone attempt to pinch a bit of salt to season and the entire top comes off?? These tacos. My boyfriend had the chicken fried steak. He loved it (loves spicy and seasonings because he's Cajun) but I tried it and it was over seasoned. Again? Couldn't taste what I was eating. The mashed potatoes were divine. Enjoyed those! And then the green beans were tasteless. Hahaha what a joke. I ordered the barbacoa chilaquiles and it was literally too spicy to eat. Inedible. My eyes teared up, my nose started running, and I couldn't taste anything after a couple bites of the spice. I was so f*****g over this place I just ate my boyfriend's mashed potatoes and we left. If I had it my way, I wouldn't have paid for a thing here. They don't deserve our money and I HATE they got a cent from me. I'm livid. I hate this place W I L L N E V E R B E B A C K

We ate every drop the beurre blanc we could scoop up with the bread! - Fried wings - 10/10 - Velour Ceasar + shrimp 9/10. It was over dressed, but the dressing was good and it was a great portion for 1/2 sized. I normally ask for it on the side so that's truly my miss. My friend had the sticky ribs and Tx Cobb salad 1/2 sized). She really enjoyed them but I unfortunately couldn't try since they contained pork. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful with making decisions for our meal and drink suggestions for my friend. This gem sits in Victory Park and has both in and outdoor seating options. It's such a vibe when you enter in - decorated well and whether a DJ or a playlist I had friends visiting recently who were looking for a place on a Thursday night and they raved about how great of a recommendation it was They also serve brunch so I can't wait to give it a try.

Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making the experience feel extra special. The food was fantastic! I had the crispy octopus, and it was perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and absolutely delicious. To top it all off, they surprised me with a brownie and ice cream for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. Thank you for making my birthday celebration so memorable. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in the area!

We had a cocktail reception in the bar and the bartender put us on the backside of the bar to keep us out of the way, but they had a swinging door for the bartenders to exit the bar and the constantly were opening it into the reception area and being put out that we were standing where they asked us to stand. On to dinner they had us in a room with a heavy curtail pulled over the opening, it worked well to isolate the noise, but the food was not aligned with the prices. I had eaten poke earlier in the day at another restaurant so was ready for more as an appetizer at JW. This ahi tuna crudo didn't have the best taste and while I won't say it wasn't fresh, I won't say it was either. I ordered a steak and it was ok but in a city where we can get great steak, this was not in the top 30. They at least validated valet parking.

My husband and I started off by splitting the Wagyu Pigs in a Blanket which were good but I wouldn't order again. It just didn't seem to be anything over the top special so I would rather order something else as an app. My husband ordered the fried chicken and I got the Crispy Chicken Katsu. Both were delicious and I would definitely recommend trying both! The Katsu came with a spicy mayo that made the sandwich perfect! The fried chicken is massive so definitely share that or go home with left overs. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

I'll start with a positive -- the appetizers were actually quite good. The deviled eggs, dragon…read moreroll, and pigs in a blanket were all tasty, and that's honestly the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, everything else was a struggle from the moment we walked in. We didn't have reservations, but eventually found seats at the bar. Given how busy the place was, we figured the bar would mean faster, more attentive service. We were very wrong. We ordered two beers, a non-alcoholic drink, and three appetizers. The drinks arrived, and the appetizers followed about 10 minutes later -- fine so far. But there were no utensils. We had to ask for them, and we asked for plates as well, which never came. The empty dishes from our appetizers sat in front of us for a solid hour with no one clearing them. The bartender who took our order never once checked on us. With 3-4 people working behind the bar, only one server approached us during the entire 40-minute wait between appetizers and dinner to ask if we needed anything. The bartender told us twice that our food was "coming out shortly" -- and still, 40 minutes passed. When dinner finally arrived, my order was wrong. I ordered the Mongolian Short Rib, listed clearly under the Entree section of the menu. The bartender claimed I had ordered off a "happy hour" menu -- one I never saw or was told about -- and had swapped it for BBQ Pork Ribs without saying a word. Knowing a replacement could take another hour, my friend swapped plates with me and took the ribs. He had ordered the steak frites, which, for a rare steak, should have taken no more than 5-6 minutes to prepare. The third entree, fish and chips, was just okay -- a bit soggy and not particularly fresh. To top it all off, after everything we dealt with, the bartender never asked how our meal was or if we needed anything else. The food has potential, but the service was inattentive, disorganized, and frankly unacceptable for a busy restaurant that should know better.

We sat outside with our toddler and she loved being able to look at the fountain. We had the appetizer sample, lobster salad, and some pasta. The lobster salad isn't a ton of lobster but it was quality meat and had a lot of delicious ingredients like bacon, hearts of palm, etc. The service was very friendly and food came out pretty quick! Which is always a plus win with a toddler.

We came in here and there were a few people eating, but not busy, so we got a seat at the bar. The bar has a great, thick, wooden counter that looks nice and provides a ton of space. It was my birthday, so I treated myself to a nice cocktail, "Purple Rain", which was, "Home infused indigo gin, lemon juice, honey syrup, and grapefruit soda"; this was very well-presented and tastes great. My girlfriend got a well-priced beer she enjoyed, and overall they had an extensive drink selection. Our waitress was pleasant and willing to answer any questions, and we ordered a Guacemole burger to split, on a gluten-free bun, with some caramelized onions added, because it had a happy hour deal. Our burger was well-sized with the double patty, and the bacon was thick, but they forgot to add guacamole, and the onions were fried and not caramelized, so I took mine off and gave them to my gf. The gluten-free bun was great, because it held together and didn't fall apart like a lot of buns of its kind. I wasn't paying attention and bit into the side of their mega toothpick and caused some pain to my tooth, but it's hard to blame the restaurant for that. Worth noting that the fries were solid too. Their menu had some really interesting things on it that i'll try if i'm ever back in the neighborhood. Also, they gave me a complimentary bowl of fruit as a birthday treat, which I appreciated.
