What a delightful find... The Hidden House is hidden down Burn's Lane off of King St... serene, quiet, aesthetically pleasing both inside and outside. A gorgeous place for coffee, wines to sit and relax. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the interior is tres chic. A house with gorgeous modern design. We sat outside in the shade I could have actually stayed here all day. The coffee was so good. I'm not sure if they do food but we did have a delicious cookie. I will definitely be making a return trip to this delightful spot.

We had the breakfast bagel sandwich. The egg inside the sandwich was perfectly cooked and everything inside worked so well together from the garlic aioli to the pepper jam. I also had a Velvet key, I saw how amazing it looked after the barista made it for someone else and I had to get one too. It was just as great as it looked. Hidden House had cute and cozy inside seating as well as a nice patio. We were there at the end of June and luckily it was a beautiful Charleston day so it was very comfortable on the patio.

I was able to experience The Hidden House the other night, Charleston's best kept secret for a romantic date and wow did they deliver! From the moment you walk in, no detail was overlooked. The decor was totally our vibes, which made the night more romantic. The service was very welcoming and then the food/wine so good. They have an excellent selection of wines and are very knowledgeable so if you have any questions, they are happy to help you. We ordered an assortment of apps, which were all so good, the perfect amount of focaccia to go along with the "have to order" Straciatella - OH MY, this was amazing! Loved the warm olives with the hot honey whipped butter, as well as the flatbread. They also serve the biggest chocolate chip cookies, it was the size of a dinner plate I cannot recommend this place enough, we are already looking forward to going back and bringing our friends, enjoy!

Great places to hop in to for a quick tea or coffee or stick around to study, grab a snack and a glass of wine ! I've been here twice and loved my service and order both times. Highly recommend you come for their happy hour and get the charcuterie nachos, they won't disappoint !

1/15/26. I went back for a business meeting. I won't elaborate but the staff did something that was so off the charts. It's was customer service at an unheard of level. I ordered Earl Gray as a gluten free granola bar. I love the way they serve their tea. The steepin g apparatus is nice. The cup and saucer were clear. As the server placed it on the table she said, "It'll need to steep for another 5 minutes." Take a look at the pics. Keep it going, Hidden House.

The drinks are absolutely incredible. I make my own matcha and this might be the best matcha I've ever had. They have a seasonal coco matcha featuring coconut cold foam, it is exquisite! They also make a very refreshing cucumber mint drink with green tea. We also got a third drink, their salted pretzel toffee shaken espresso, it was probably the best espresso drink I've ever had. Their Avo is delicious, it is sourdough bread with avocado and egg on top, along with bacon bits and micro greens. The vibe is immaculate. I would be here often if I lived here!!

What a cute place. Hidden on Burns Lane... and right off King Street...several rooms that seem to go on forever ..with delightful pink interior colors .. garden area with tables , .. perfect stop while shopping on King Street...freshly baked items are on display. Top of the line beverage machines prepared in front of you with all the fixings. Service aims to please! Actually I'm catching Hidden House before their official opening!... already busy! Good sign! A "homey" feel as soon as you walk in and will feel like you are in someone's historic home. Definitely a little "hidden" gem. A wonderful venue for holding a special occasion, wedding or corporate event.

This coffee shop has the best atmosphere! It's tucked away on Burns Lane and when you walk in you'll see several small rooms with beautiful decor and cozy spots so social and drink coffee or wine, and a few rooms that are intended as work spaces. The staff were welcoming. This place would be great for a mid day or early afternoon work meeting! And the matcha was delicious.

My Bible study meets here weekly and it's the perfect environment for a group. The staff are always so kind and helpful, the space is beautiful and the coffee is my favorite in Charleston. I have done the pistachio latte and the salted caramel and love both. There is ample seating both indoors and outdoors. The only downside is the lack of parking, just come prepared to pay for a metered spot or a pricier spot in the lot. Highly recommend.

What a delightful hidden gem off the beaten path. It's a lovely little cafe with several rooms and amazingly good drinks. My tea latte was one of the best I've had and the morning glory muffin was good, even the next day. Yum.

The Hidden House is a gorgeous coffee shop with excellent coffee. Service is friendly and quick, and this place truly feels like a hidden gem. It does get very popular, so I'd recommend arriving earlier in the morning to avoid the rush.

no complaints! the place was so asthetic and the matcha was so good. the service was okay. the girl at the register seemed a little off but i think that's because she was training someone at the same time. but the music was chill and it is a great studying place. i can't wait to go back and try the food.

The wait staff was not very welcoming, which definitely impacted the overall experience. When visiting a restaurant, especially one with such a great reputation, I expect to feel welcomed and valued as a guest. I was also disappointed by the inconsistency in the posted hours. The hours listed on the restaurant's website differed from the hours shown on Google, which can be very confusing when you're trying to plan your visit. Another concern was the payment experience. The restaurant placed two separate holds on my account--one for $1 and another for over $100. I understand that temporary authorization holds can sometimes occur, but having two separate holds was unexpected and added to an already disappointing experience. Hopefully, this was just an off experience, but based on my visit, I would hesitate to return.

We were looking for a…read morelate night spot to grab a beverage and an appetizer/snack and decided to walk into Grand Bohemian Wine Bar. When we walked in, the bartender and a waitress were talking, and acting very upset that we interrupted them. The bartender gave us menus and for being a wine bar, they did not have a large selection of wines by the glass, and had a handful of wines by the bottle that were severely over priced. We ended up on a white wine, and for the price, we were not impressed. (I should say that I am in no way a wine snob but know what I like). We had ordered the burrata and when it came out we were in awe, because what was on the plate was not in fact burrata. By the time the waitress dropped it off, she was gone quicker than we could inquire why mozzarella was on our plate. Eventually she came back and when we told her that it was not in fact burrata, she went back and spoke with the kitchen and came back and told us they ran out of burrata and just replaced it with mozzarella. (Making it seem like they just wanted to get away with it and were hopeful we would not notice). In the end, with the food mishaps, lack of choices, and very poor service; this was the big disappointment of our trip.
