I have had the WORST experience purchasing a washer/dryer from this location. They make you keep your entire day 9-5 open for the delivery and only give you the window the day prior. This makes finding a delivery day difficult for anyone who does not work from home. The first time they came to deliver my appliance the team told me I had ordered the "wrong hoses". I needed 8ft instead of 4ft. I have no idea why this wouldn't have been told to me at the time of purchase. Instead of having any extras on hand, they insisted I must find the hoses myself and reschedule the delivery. I did that. The 2nd time they showed up the employee told me my cold water valve was broken and he could not switch it off. Once again, they would not install my appliance. I hired a plumber and spent $200 for them to tell me my valves were just fine. The valve just needed some WD40. At this point I tried to schedule another delivery. I waited all day and nothing showed up. After speaking to someone at the warehouse, I was told that my appliance had to be returned to the manufacturer since it had been at the warehouse for over 30 days. LOL. Absolute ridiculousness. There was zero communication from Home Depot about this. They let me schedule the delivery for an appliance that had already been returned to the manufacturer. I proceeded to go through the process of returning and repurchasing the appliance. Today, I was supposed to get it installed for the 4th time. The team examined my valves and once again is telling me there is an issue with them even though the plumber just checked everything. They refuse to let me turn off the main water line and continue the install even though that would have been a perfectly reasonable solution. Supposed to have a dryer purchased from Home Depot in King of Prussia, PA on August 3rd. The delivery was scheduled for August 20, 2021, today, between 11 and 3. The delivery was confirmed last week. Dryer never arrived. Called Home Depot 5 separate times beginning at 4:30. Was told they cannot reach the delivery people because their "phones are shut down." The salesperson explained that he could not help me. Called back an hour and a half later. Waited on the phone through 30 rings before someone picked up to tell me that she couldn't find my order. Called back again at 6:30 and asked for the manager. Same story from her. She had no idea what happened. She told me they use Freight Rite for deliveries. I also called the number on the brochure for delivery updates and got a robotic answering machine that told me my delivery was scheduled for September 4th, another two-week delay. What? How did that happen? I never agreed to that. Lesson here is do not shop at Home Depot. Customer service is less than one star. NO one knows anything about anything. Looked up Freight Rite. They are loaded with one-star reviews. Went on Lowe's website. Same dryer, same price, delivery this Sunday. Lesson learned. read more

Home Depot - "We are here to help!!" I purchased a delivery of a refrigerator for $79 from the online store. The company HD hired called me a 6:00am saying they were on the way. At their arrival, they left the refrigerator on the street instead of placing it inside the condo. Their excuse was COVID. This is not acceptable since I couldn't bring the refrigerator upstairs and certainly couldn't handle it on my own. I had to ask for help and wait in the street until they arrived. Home Depot never said anything like the appliances were going to be left in the street. I wonder what Home Depot does when there are many appliances delivered. Today I walked in looking to get some wood but didn't know how to read wood measurements since I was reading measurements off of a YouTube video and i Sin e it was my first time doing something like this I wanted to .kae sure I had all that I needed. So I asked a worker who I can talk to about my build and they led me to Carlos that works in the lumber section amd was pleased to helped me he did the math and dou le checked his work to ensure that I didn't leave with not enough wood.
