This place is terrible. Customer service doesn't exist. Manager Eva is incompetent and should be fired. We have spent so much $$ here and continuously receive crap customer service. We ordered flooring and had a huge issue.. they put the wrong address and changed the delivery date 4 times. I've called and requested to speak with the flooring manager 5 times and she has yet to return my call. They are rude and clearly don't care about their customers. I just left this location after having the worst experience trying to buy a refrigerator. The assistant manager Mina was the rudest person I have ever talked and definitely needs to be trained especially since she is the customer experience manager at the store. She walked away screaming at my wife and I after refusing to acknowledge the price match policy listed on the homedepot.com website. The price match isn't even the biggest issue here it is the way that she acted and provided horrible customer experience. The store manager Joanne was unavailable for either a call or support in anyway. I was able to reach out to the district manager Lisa and leave a message after having to go through the Marietta store to get their contact since Mina refused to talk. I hope someone from corporate reads these and takes action to improve customer service! read more

What has happened to my Home Depot here in Temecula California. I remember all of the associates caring for there customers. I went shopping on Saturday at my Home Depot. The big problem here is that half of there staff don't want to help you and when you spend 10min looking for an associate. You get someone who doesn't care or tells you to wait and they will get someone in that department and know one shows up!! I spoke to a front end manager and they where late to there lunch Really!! We went to Home Depot today in Temecula Ca too purchase ceramic plank floor tile which was being clearance. They said they ran out and sent us to Murrieta Ca. so we did. Once we're there the manager said I cannot offer that clearance price, I said why it's a discounted tile. The paint dept has the rudest employees. i've been there several times in the last two months to get paint and every time I go to the counter there's two or three employees standing around talking. I know they see me but they they don't look over so I wave my hand and they look over and just keep on talking. when they're done with their conversation then they finally accommodate me. I thought it was just a one time thing but every time I go there it's the same thing and it's not always the same employees. There is one lady in particular that has black hair, braids, and glasses and she is completely rude. When I ask for a special mix of paint she tells me it will be ready in 10 minutes and then when I go to the counter looking for my paint 15 mins. later, she yells at me and says that's not yours! maybe a better response would be, your paint isn't ready yet. She's also the one always in the mix having a conversation when there's 3-4 people waiting to get paint. I think I'll take my business to the Murrieta store. read more

It's Home Depot. What is there to say? As Home Depots go, this one is pretty good. They do get some things wrong though. Like when you order an item that's not in the store. I ordered flooring and when I received it most of the slats in the box were broken so it meant a trip back to the store, waiting in line, getting a credit then ordering again and hoping that they still have the item. They treat you right but there always seems to be some type of issue. Most of the staff on the floor are super friendly and helpful. That's a huge help. read more

This is a story about a man named Todd! Todd is not an employee of Home Depot. In fact I wandered around the lumber a little lost before Todd came and admired the cart I had. He needed one and there were/are so few of that specific style. I offered to share. I then asked if he knew what 4 small concrete piers could be located at? He knew of only one size and promptly showed me where they were, then he did the kindest sweetest thing - he loaded four on the cart he admired. I gave him the list that my contractor gave me. Todd - my hero - found all the items for me and loaded them on the cart. I was having problems pushing and navigating the cart. Todd, kindly navigated the cart to the first check out area and presented me to someone he knows. Todd does not work for Home Depot but he frequents that particular store quite a bit. The cashier commented that Todd was always gracious to everyone he met and helpful. Today, Todd is my hero. Thank you Todd (not an employee) for your kindness in helping me, a lost woman in the world of lumber where I found no employee willing to help. This world needs more Todd's! P.S.: I wanted to purchase everything needed in Idyllwild locally at the lumber store. But the man who finally agreed to help me was so rude. When I asked him for an estimate of what the list would cost he said $600. $600 was out of my budget. At Home Depot it was less than $90. Thank you Home Depot for saving me $510 and attracting amazing customers like Todd! Your staff knows who he is. A complimentary gift certificate is a great way to say thank you to Todd. Today he received my gratitude and the chocolate chip cookies I had previously purchased at Richies! But he deserves so much more. Thank you again, Todd for your kindness! I greatly appreciate that you were shopping at Home Depot the same time I was! By the way... this is a happy story therefore I gave 5 stars. I have patronized this Home Depot so many times over the years I could not even begin to estimate the number. Normally it is for simple items / products for a project or maintenance purposes. Sometimes I can find a willing employee to bounce something off of, and other times it seems nonexistent. Doesn't matter what section I'm in; be it gardening, lumber, tools, paint, or hardware. I personally would never buy any appliances from here, or Lowe's. Many moons ago we did and it was no bueno overall. Pacific Sales has always done us right and has a much better selection, so we stick with them. This place is A-OK and I will continue to patronize them when in need, just like Lowe's, depending on my mood where I want to drive to (especially if I have other stores to go to near their respective locations). However, I do find myself coming here more often than not. I would frequent Hank's Ace Hardware more often, but being the furthest store away from my home and the miserable traffic in that area (Winchester and Jefferson sucks) precludes me from doing so. In April of this year I ordered a security door for my home. Since ordering it's been one delay after another. I was initially told it would be ready on June 6. That in itself is a long time to wait for a door. But since they were manufacturing it I decided to go ahead with it. Since the date of June 6 it's been delayed at least three times. Now they are telling me July 19 and possibly delivery date of July 27. A couple of years ago I ordered a screen door from Home Depot to be installed. They said the door would be installed on a certain date. I waited all day for the installer. He never showed and no one ever called to explain what happened. I had to go to the store to find out for myself why they never showed. I cancelled the order and went to Lowe's. Never again will I go to Home Depot for anything I cannot just buy out of the store. I have received to many excuses as to why my door is not ready. 3 months of wasting my time. I'm going to cancel and get my money back. Yes I paid in advance! I would have posted this without giving any star rating but it wouldn't post. The one star is way over rated! read more

This Home Depot is the nearest one to my home. I would normally go there to do my shopping for home improvement projects or to add more tools to my collection. The pricing is reasonable as well as their customer service. This being said, when I asked if they gave a military discount I was asked to see a VA card. I have never had the need to go to the VA since my Honorable Discharge in 8/1992 so when I stated that I had my DD214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty,) I was told that it was not enough. I did not think much of it simply a procedure that the Depot has. So when I went to LOWE's and again asked a bout a military discount and that all I had was my DD214, they took my info and from that point on, with just showing my DL and giving my phone number, I received a military discount on my purchases; big or small. I having served, my son having served and many of my friends and family having served, I feel that i should be a patron of a business that honors our vets! Some may or may not agree with me but that is the way I think. Sorry Home Depot... you were my favorite store. read more

04/24/19- We are now in contact with the Home Depot Corporate Customer Service Complaint Department. No real help from them however we are getting 10 more replacement doors delivered to our home today. We have been told the doors have been inspected by the KraftMaid salesman and Home Depot personnel. The doors were given KraftMaid factory "extra" quality assurance attention. I have so much to say that last time i wrote the review and it was too long that it did not save. So here we go, the short version. Ordered flooring in March of 22 the simple job was finally finished in October 22. The wrong flooring was put in. The color did not match what i ordered as well as what I already had down that was purchased in 2020, from HD! The service was terrible. Not just bad. It was the worst. I spoke to the manager of the operation department probable 10 - 15 times. Due to my calling the store and texting her. The department manager spoke to me once. and the Corp. office spoke to me a few times as well. Everyone kept telling me lets just get this done and we will compensate you at the end. Did she ? NO! After paying $5400 on one floor that never has matched my floor, it just does not seem right. No one cares! Floor boards came in wrong color, Trim was damaged, and not enough of the steps were shipped for the job. At the end of the day this has been so upsetting. Asked for assistance at the check out only to have the attendant tell me to wait because she was helping somebody else who was having difficulty with their machine. She came over, I told her what the problem was; that the scanner was not working and she said I had to re cradle the wand, but that of course I would not know that. She then realized she needed to replace the battery and then re-scanned an item that was already on the counter. When My wife pointed out the fact that she had scanned it twice she gave an excuse that "oh I only did that because somebody handed it to me", which is an out right lie! Machines are NOT always a solution especially when one has to manually input the barcode information, which required an override! read more

First let me say this Home Depot sucks. You can forget about getting help when you even call the store. It takes them about 15 minutes to connect you to somebody. Physically visiting the store is a crapshoot. Walk down any aisle and you won't see any associates. But walk by the break room and you'll see about 17 employees drinking their coffee and Lil Debbie snacks. I asked one employee where I can find some brads and she said Brad don't work here. WTF! A bigger joke is you won't see cashiers anymore. This self checkout is complete bullshit. I'm not on the schedule so why am I working? My newborn, my daughter and I were on a walk with my little dog when she got entangled in the front wheel in the middle of the street in the back of the building near the soil products. I literally could not move forward or backwards. I did not have enough strength to pull the leash out from the wheel. Tino asked if we needed help and before I could even reply, he walked over and helped me pull the leash through in moments which may have taken me forever as I wasn't strong enough to pull it off the wheel! He was kind and professional. I really appreciate all he did to step away from I'm sure his busy job and help us out! Home Depot is lucky to have such a great and generous employee. Place is the worst ordered some interior double doors takes 11 weeks to make them 11WEEKS!!!! Paid in Advance $1,000+ it's going on 13 WEEKS NOW AND STILL NO DOORS!!!! There not custom doors there not odd doors there regular standard solid core doors. Made in the USA my ass when it takes 11 WEEKS TO MAKE A DOOR this country has gone down the toilet. I could get my pilots license in 11 Weeks. I could get my Associates Degree in an accelerated program in 11 Weeks. I could have a premi baby in 13 Weeks. I could have done something to change the course of history in 11 Weeks. Where the hell are my doors!!!! The worst Update: Doors are finally in they sent the wrong hardware and apparently a dam hardware store has to wait 2-3 more weeks to get the right hardware. I get $100 credit and get to wait 3 more weeks to have someone actually come out and install them. Do not order doors from here unless your prepared to live in a cardboard box for half a year there a joke. This isn't a joke and for the money I paid they can put it in a tin can yell "pull!!" Coming here is why I remembered why Lowes is so much better. Tried to return a brand new sealed product where the employee remembered selling it to me the day before. My kids threw away the receipt and they would not even offer store credit. Employee talked down to me as a vet and just belittled telling me I should go somewhere else if I didn't agree. One word: incompetent As I enter, a female employee was talking to a male emoloyee, I approach them and ask where can I find a multimeter and they both look confuse so I explain what a multimeter does (which I shouldn't have to) and they pointed me into that direction. I walk up and down, up and down once more and still I couldn't find what I need so I start looking around for help. I saw 2 male employee walk by so I approach them, one seem a bit annoyed that I have disrupted his conversation regarding football, my apology. So I ask them both where can I find a multimeter and again they both look confuse which prompt me to explain to them what a multimeter does (sigh). One guy say he would have to go find Jack. I don't know who the F*** Jack is but I'm assuming his last name is A**. After 9 minute the same guy came back and said, "Jack say its in a green package in this aisle". Oh really?! I made the guy go find it while i stand in one spot. Up and down he goes; nothing. And finally he said something useful, "i think its best if i get Jack here" no shit Einstein. 6 more minute pass and and u guess it... the same guy came back holding a multimeter... which wasn't even in the electrical aisle. And up to now I still have no idea who Jack is. I would have mention each and one of their name BUT its not their fault, I blame it on management for lack of training. read more

Horible service. I ordered wood and supplies for a home project to be delivered to my home. It was delivered in 5 deliveries over 5 months. By the time I received all of the parts, I tried to begin my project only to discover that some of the wood they sent wasn't the correct size in width or length. When I called to get the correct size, they 1st said that they would come and get them if they were in good sellable condidtion. This was not the case as they didn't deliver the wood in sellable condition with rough edges, not the designated length or width. Thus they eventually had me talk with a manager and continued to put me off. Now over a year later I still have the wood that I can't use for my project and the manager is saying that they can only take returns if it's requested within 30 days of delivery. This wouldn't of worked either as they took 5 months to piecemeal deliver my project. Now I have to find somewhere else to purchase more wood for my project as I have a stack of wood that I can't use. read more

Our fridge broke and we went to buy a fridge and they said nothing on the floor was in stock. Since we couldn't wait a week for a fridge we went to Lowes. I was hoping to get some advice from one of the workers in the plumbing department. I asked him a question and he gave me an answer like I had been plumbing for years. Then when I asked him if he could show me, he made a frustrated gasp and tossed the part he had in his hand into a basket. I wish I caught the guys name but he was so obnoxious about helping me, that I left the store more confused than before I I was in there about 2 pm. Home Depot I loathe you so. I came here with the sole intention of buying a locking door knob, but things went awry rather quickly. I walked in through the exit doors and noticed a display of "great gift items under $10" so I took a look. I ended up grabbing this flashlight that goes around your head. I figured I could use it if I had to perform some emergency engine work on my car or in case I needed to change a flat at night. Then, I somehow gravitated to the tools section and just spent way too much time there. I ended up grabbing an adjustable pliers set that was on sale. They're the Husky brand, which happen to be my brand of choice. So I eventually make it to the back of the store to where the door knobs are and I make my selection. So I head to the self-checkout and then I realize that I'll need a bigger toolbox to hold the set of pliers. So...what was supposed to be a quick trip for a $10 door knob ended up being a 30 minute tug-of-war that cost me $90. Oh well, but that new door knob is working really well! Ordered a window through Home Depot in February, installed it in March. They came out to my house to address a couple concerns. Scott Hitchcock came out with a window tech and they had used clear silicone to seal the bottom and white silicone to seal the sides and top. The lower trim piece was not flat on the wall. Scott said" We are not going to paint your house if you read your contract you signed you would know that." I told him to show me where it says it is the home owners job if you screwed up on the in stall. Scott said well were not going to paint it and the bottom trim piece is as good as its going to get. I told him, well then take your window back. He said we can do that and said he will call me to let me know the date. The same day he called and said he will be out to paint it tomorrow. I asked about the trim and he said someone will contact me about it. They came out 3 more times and the last guy said the window frame was too thin for a window this big and said they will order a different window. Well September 9 th he installed the window. We received no paper work and it is the wrong window. The glass is much lighter than we ordered. Now October 8th and multiple e mails and phone calls plus 3 trips to home depot and today was told by an assistant manager James that the store has nothing to do with the problems and it has to go through customer service. Customer service said I would receive a call back within 24-48 hours. Called back today and the new person said it is 7-10 business days. My advice is stay away from the customer installation department. I also have a vinyl fence I went halves with and he did it through Home Depot. The company H&H FENCING did a Crappy Job. Oh almost forgot, I asked the guy who did the last window install for a card and his worker gave me a cannabis card. REALLY Way to go Home Depot. read more
