This place used to be a great spot for a quick and easy bfast. The big guy who was the cook brought up food in minutes and had great conversations. Now this ridiculously incompetent crew of 7 people takes 30min to cook up a simple order of pancakes and eggs for 2 people. I don't wait this long for crappy food. Never coming here again. read more

Awesome breakfast and reasonably priced. You can add tortillas and salsa to make mini breakfast burritos. There is a dining area in the back for groups. Family owned and operated. Parking is a challenge in the general area, but it's a nice neighborhood and fun to walk around. read more

I would give this place 4 stars solely based on quality of food, BUT, service matters too and it was less than good. At first glance you are not sure what to expect but once seated and looking over the menu I was optimistic. We had a variation of breakfast plates and everyone really liked their food. The waffle was really delicious. The problem was with our waitress, she seemed bothered by the add ons after our initial order and we waited for syrup long after we had been served our meals and when we asked for the syrup (2x) her response was curt and just a tinch rude. The food was good, hash browns burnt a bit. The waiter who seems to be a manager or owner of some sort should really be focusing on the business and stay away from customers. His people skills are much to be desired. He doesn't make you feel comfortable at all. Even with your menu still open, he consistently keeps asking every few minutes, so you know what you want? We stayed we hadn't been there before and he said, "well it's breakfast, so it should be easy". Seriously? His lack of manners is not warranted. Stay in the back and let someone who has great customer service skills keep them in business. There are a few other complaints we had, we won't be back. read more

The huddle reminds me of the classic, family owned breakfast joints you see I'n small towns. I'n particular, a spot on oahu called "jacks". Eggs benedict is to die for. An elderly man came in and sat at the table next to us. The server came right up to him and with a smile asked if he'd like his regular cheeseburger or would he like something else? Very sweet. Was in conversation, so didn't see it past that, but my heart was warmed!!! This is a neighborhood diner with just fine diner food and nice people working there. My friend got the day's special. The salad had all kinds of nice goodies, including little heirloom tomats. Her comment on the jambalaya was, "This is something I might make at home with a bunch of leftovers" (which is kinda what jambalaya is!). And she was surprised with dessert! read more

We really love this place. The pancakes, Hash browns and homemade jams are all great. My husband just tried the Eggs Benedict and said it was delicious. We must have ordered the wrong thing. I had high hopes for this cute diner but was thoroughly disappointed. We ordered the south west omelette which stated it had cheese, bell peppers and "seasoned" ground beef. It came out cold the cheese was still hard inside the omelette. The very " unseasoned" beef was disgusting. I also ordered home fries extra crispy and they come out mushy. My husband got hash browns and asked for cheese and there was a solid cheese slice unmelted on top . The service is very slow but they were nice. Spent about $30 for two people and feel like we were ripped off. Sad because we live very close and we were excited to try this place. read more

This diner is the best!! My family of nine went there 3 mornings straight when we were in town for our son's graduation from the Marines. The atmosphere and service were great, the size of my family didn't phase them at all even though we about filled the place up! The food was delicious, too! After reading other reviews decided to check it out. Service was great and the jams were great. Rest of food experience not so good. Dry dry pancakes, burnt toast. Omelette was just average, again burnt toast. Hash browns were good. I would not visit again. Cozy location feels Midwestern style atmosphere. But food was lacking. read more

This was one of the most excellent dinning experiences I've had in life. I did the Iron man Challenge, and succeeded. My food was brought to me promptly, and pipping hot. After I finished my meal, the staff made me feel like a real winner, even though I probably ate 5,000 calories minimum. I'll be going back for sure. read more

Just ok, nothing to write home about. The place screams mom and pop shop, which can be nice except when you get mom on a lack-luster day. Went yesterday and our food was just ok, the service was uninspired. My wife ordered the waffle, which on the menu has "Strawberries and whipped cream" right under the Belgian waffle listing. The waffle came out with butter and nothing else. My wife asked about the strawberries and whipped cream and "mom" said, "you didn't order that, you just ordered a belgian waffle". She went on to say, "even if you did order strawberries and whipped cream I would have told you that we were out". Sorry, but maybe they should take a moment to explain what is and is not included. That's typically how you up-sell someone but that can also help someone be satisfied with their meal. I had an omelette with bacon, feta and spinach. The feta was in the omelette but they also put two pieces of sliced cold cheese on top of my omelette. I found that weird and I like hot food, ooey gooey melty food on a cold morning. This place just did not hit the spot. After yesterday, chances are I will not be back. There are too many other competing businesses on that block alone that kick the pants off the Huddle. read more

Major cockroach issue -- they were skittering across our feet as we tried to eat. No apology or recognition by the staff, so clearly this is a regular occurrence. Another family left too. Didn't really stay long enough to eat, but the few bites were unimpressive. read more
