    Bang Bang Cauliflower

Always my favorite place when I'm in the office. Happy Hour specials are great, food is always delicious and I always comeback for a bowl of their bang bang cauliflower. The place seems small but there's a lot of tables, they do not take reservations so it's first come first serve to get a table or seat at the bar. Staff is always welcoming and efficient.

Crowded after work spot in the neighborhood. The bartender was really good though. It was just too crowded for me.

Went here for trivia night (Monday) happy hour. There is. $30 per person minimum spend if participating in trivia night, but it is happy hour prices! The service was good. The trivia was a blast (met some new friends) and some of the drinks were good. The Old Fashioned was NOT good at all, but the Honey Deuce was delicious. Happy hour prices apply until 7 for trivia night. Posted my receipt as I forgot to take pics!

The food was amazing! Best pretzel I've had and I eat a pretzel at every bar I go to. The sauces were great as well. The grilled cheese hit the spot and stuffed with cheese. I'm sooooo glad they let me substitute the fries instead of soup since I'm allergic. The fries were perfection. Not too salty or oily. I want to come back and I don't even live anywhere near this place. Waitress was nice. The place was clean and nice decor for a bar.

Dive bar at its finest. Shout out to Kate our server. They have delish spicy margaritas both full and mocktail style. The burger sliders were yummy as were the wings, and pizza. My friends and I were in the back room for a private party. Great fun and great service!

Killing it with the Halloween decorations!

Close to my hotel while I was in the city for work. Walked in at 2:30 and the bar was full but plenty of tables open. The Halloween decorations were AWESOME! It is a Saturday afternoon and they have pretty much every college football game on! I ordered a Oktoberfest beer and the burger. Service was friendly and quick and the food was quick and pretty standard bar food. Overall a good place to go for a drink and or a bite to eat.

I came here after work and it's a very cozy vibe. My coworkers and I got: - downeast cider - margarita - chicken fingers tossed in buffalo sauce - Caesar salad - tater tots - I really liked these! - 2 tacos (1 beef, 1 chicken) - Beef was better - sliders I love that their happy hour ends at 7 pm.

Cute spot for after-work drinks. Prices were steep despite the happy hour ($55 for 2 cocktails and 2 beers) and service only okay (I will admit that it was pretty busy though). The outdoor seating is limited but pretty cute.

Lunch special: grilled cheese with tomato soup. Added fries on the side.

The lunch special was perfect for something not too heavy. The fires were tasty and their house sauce was really good. The service was good, at night the place was crowded and pretty loud. But overall a good stop for a drink or for some good grinds.

During quick visit to New York that coincided with the first night of the Yankees Dodgers, World Series game, we popped into this sports bar for dinner. Lucky to get a nice corner seat and enjoy the happy hour beverages... Five dollar beers - you just can't beat that! The buffalo wings and French onion soup were perfect for a light dinner. Thanks to our servers - who were working their tails off on a very busy evening. They were friendly and kind!

My friend and I came on a Wednesday night. The Junction gave me dive bar vibes on the walk in. There was no seating at the bar, and there were a few tables occupied as well. So it was pretty active. We ordered the 3 for $12 green tea shots which were a waste of money (so weak). Mean Fiddler makes them better. My friend had the Shepard pie and I had the buffalo chicken wrap with fries. The wrap had a good portion of chicken included which I appreciated. The crowd looked like college age to 40s.

So glad I stumbled upon this place on Tiktok. Everyone, and I mean every single employee, truly is so nice and so accommodating providing stellar service. Great drink and food specials every day of the week. The food is delicious, reasonably priced and nicely portioned. Very laid back and chill with both indoor and outdoor seating. Honestly, a great place to meet friends, go on a date or just grab a drink. Very small so if you have to wait it is worth it. Please check this place out!!

Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. We reserved for a quick bite at Redeye Grill before catching Dog Day Afternoon on Broadway, but as soon as we walked up, some bouncer told us they were closed for a private wedding reception. We were dazed and confused because how was I able to reserve online? But the real plot twist was that it ended up being the best thing that happened. We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. My cocktail had passion fruit, so of course I asked my usual question: "But is it real passion fruit?" He just nodded in agreement and that told me everything I needed to know. That drink was legit and had nice strength. The food was great too. My fish tacos were packed with fresh fish, the guacamole and salsa were chunky and full of flavor and hubs enjoyed his pastrami sandwich. I have no clue when we'll be back in Midtown, but one thing's for sure- we're sitting with Josiah again.

Two-part, proper settle, tight dome, no rushing it. That's rarer than it should be in Midtown where half the bars treat a stout like a lager. Whoever's behind the bar here has been trained or grew up around it. Food's better than a second-floor pub between 5th and 6th has any right to be. The JRB burger comes on a house-ground patty (they grind in-house, and you can tell, loose texture, actual seasoning), caramelized onions cooked down all the way, not just softened, good cheese pull. Fried pickles on the side had a crisp cornmeal shell and stayed crunchy under the burger juices, which never happens. Buttermilk chicken salad was the surprise. Chicken actually brined, crust stayed on, greens weren't an afterthought. Only real knock: music was loud. Not sports-bar loud, more like the bartender's playlist got away from him. Fine at the bar, harder at a table if you want to talk. Room's got real bones. Reclaimed barn wood, old rail track as a foot rest, that big 45-star flag on the wall. Been here almost 20 years and it's aged into itself. For the neighborhood the pricing's fair. Beats P.J. Clarke's on the burger, loses on quiet. Go for a beer and a burger, not a date.
