    BILLY MINER PIE!!

The food is always Amazing !! Jenny was our waitress for Father's Day!! The service was TOP Notch. She couldn't of made the Special Day any nicer. She was a perfect server!! We had a party of 5 and all got very different entrees and they were all Great. The Mushrooms Neptune is a Favorite, the bread was perfect!! and You have to have the Billy Miner Pie..Its hard to save room for it... but you won't be disappointed and ask for JENNY!! The best steaks in town and the Garlic mash potatoes are so yummy!! They never disappoint!! except when you were briefly closed for a re model !! Who ever is in charge the entire staff was on it!!! its definitely for the better. Thank you again for a great night and for the $25.00 off coupon to return!! We will be using very soon!!!

The Keg is a really nice steakhouse located in Santan village. Sooo lucky we got to seat outside by the fireplace and didn't have to wait too long without reservations on a Friday night. Service was very courteous and quick and I really enjoyed seating outside, it was warmth even though it is winter time. I had steak and it was cooked to perfection. I also liked the twice baked potato. Everything was great!

We had a wonderful dinner here. Arrived on a Sunday at 6:30pm with a reservation. It was busy but we were sat right away. Everyone, especially our waiter was friendly and kind. Suggested was the scallops, prime rib, and Smokey old fashion. My bf drink of choice is always an old fashion and he was super happy with it. The sip I took I found it incredibly enjoyable and would love to order one for myself in the future. The scallops were good and so was the prime rib. The prime rib was tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were so so good. My wine was very delicious and smooth, not sweet. You can dress up or be casual. I wish the AC was cranked a little bit more down. Coming in from the heat and drinking plus having a heavy meal, I felt a bit warm. Will come back

Awful prime rib dip - tiny dried up pieces!

Ok our waitress was very nice that's why the 2 rating- The French dip was very poor. Tiny dried up scraps for the Prime Rib French dip. Honesty I don't think Ive ever had a prime rib dip this way ever. Definitely do not order this!! One of the worst if not the worst I've ever had- a huge waste of 50.00..Gilbert Az location.

Birthday dinner at the Gilbert location! Restaurant was packed on a Tuesday night but service was exceptional! Prime rib, wedge salad and mulled wine (served warm) were on point. The twice baked potato was flavorless, noticeably minor overall. Wedge was perfect! His NY strip and classic baked potato were also excellent. This location is far nicer and more approachable.

I've been aware of The Keg for most of my life, having visited many locations and always expecting that classic premier steakhouse experience. Unfortunately, the SanTan Village location in Gilbert fell short. Maybe being so far from its Canadian roots has caused it to lose some of its magic. Three out of four of our meals missed the mark. The couple dining with us had both of their steaks comped because they weren't cooked as ordered. Mine wasn't right either, but I didn't want to pile on. Still, when you're paying a premium at a steakhouse, you should get exactly what you ordered--that's their bread and butter. On a positive note, our waiter was fantastic. However, the experience started off on a strange note with a foul odor at the hostess stand. When we asked about it, she had no explanation. All in all, this visit was a letdown. I'd recommend giving this location a pass. Saluti

Last minute decision to grab a steak and what's better place than The Keg. This is the first time I visited The Keg out of Canada and it didn't disappoint. The food was cooked to perfection, the server was polite and prompt. It was early so we had the choice of choosing different areas and all have great ambience.

So this trip was just ok. Considering how much we spent i just expected a little better quality control. It seemed like we had a couple of different servers helping us out which was fine, and they were both great. We did have a billing issue, but it was corrected before we paid. The prime rib was skimpy and my ribeye was cooked over well done. I asked for medium which has always came out perfectly here before. It was seriously dark brown. Gross. Other than those two food related items, and the bill needed to be fixed, it was a decent meal. The tuna tartare was amazing, and a score on hh.

The service was great with very attentive employees. Everyone was kind and helpful. The classic steak with salad, vegetables, and a side was a great value and tasted very good. It was very loud inside from people celebrating different events, but overall everything was great.

Absolutely wonderful! Wait staff on point food good. We had an orange martini,Moscow Mule, espresso martini and whiskey sour that was so perfectly crafted. The happy hour appetizers we devoured were the bacon wrapped scallops and tuna tartare. The amount of tuna that was on it was insane! We both chose steak, prime rib and the ribeye. My only complaint was it felt to me that the ribeye had a lot more fat on it than I have ever had dining here. This is a great place to dine!

This location is much less crowded than the tempe marketplace location, but the food is still the same quality. A good place for both casual outings and celebrations, it is your standard steakhouse with nothing negative to note.

    Sarah E.

Literally the smallest lobster tail I've ever seen for $24. The steak had a huge gristle vain that ran right through it. The green beans tasted like rubber. Way over priced for the quality. Drinks weren't that great and not a lot to choose from.

Ask the Community - The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Gilbert

I'm contemplating making a reservation for an upcoming event; however, I noticed that there are separate lunch and dinner menus online. If I were to make a reservation for 4PM, would my group still be able to order dinner items, or only lunch items?

This location opens for dinner at 4:00. So dinner will be on the menu.

Is this a semi formal attire restaurant?

No. I would consider it business casual. The food is outstanding here. So is the service.

How can I make a reservation for Thursday eve?

If you go to the keg website click on the location you want, scroll down and there's a place that says make a reservation. Click on that.

Disappointing Anniversary Dinner - Expected More for the Price…read more My wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary here after getting recommendations from friends who spoke highly of the place. Since we're in the Gilbert area, we loved the idea of a great steakhouse without the drive to Scottsdale. We went in with high expectations -- we're no strangers to special occasion dining, so we knew what we were hoping for. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in almost every way. The ambience and service felt more like a polished chain restaurant than the upscale dining experience the prices suggest. For a $300-$400 dinner for two, you expect a certain level of attentiveness and flow -- and we just didn't get it. After our appetizers, we noticed we never received the pretzel bread everyone raves about. When I asked our waiter, he said they had just finished baking a fresh batch. When it arrived, it was cold -- so that clearly wasn't the case. We also had to flag our waiter down to take our entrée order, which shouldn't happen at this price point. My steak was fine -- just fine. My wife's fish was the same. Nothing memorable, nothing that made us feel like the bill was justified. By the end of the meal we were both ready to leave. Our waiter did offer a complimentary dessert for our anniversary, which was a nice gesture, but we were already checked out mentally and chose to go somewhere else to finish the evening on a better note. If you're in the East Valley looking for a truly special dinner, I'd honestly just make the drive to Mastro's Oceans Club or Steak 44.

Use to visit the Chandler location weekly 12-14 years ago.. even told our kiddos that tonight when we brought them here. Problems started as soon as we got our food. All the food came out besides our son's children's steak, was told they had to cook another one. As we were waiting for his steak, my husband noticed his steak wasn't a ribeye like he ordered. He suspected it was a NY Strip Steak. About 7 minutes goes by and manger brings our sons steak. My husband asked the manager if his steak looked like a NY strip to him and manager replied "yes, I think we have the best NY Strip" and my husband nicely replied, I didn't order a Strip, I ordered a Ribeye and told the manager it was fine, he would eat it still and still tasted good but didn't want to be changed for a Ribeye since he got the strip wrong. ($12 difference) I got the firebirds bacon chicken pasta with steak instead of chicken and no tomatoes and green onions. Well.. there was def tomatoes and onions and no bacon. And I was changed $30 for pasta and steak.. that wasn't even made the way I asked. Well my son's (late) steak was suppose to be medium and it was rare. By the time the server came back my son was eating some of my husbands steak and my pasta so we just asked the server to take his meal off the check because it was late and cooked wrong. She said it was absolutely cooked wrong and insisted to bring him a new steak as well as take it off the check. She even asked him to put his steak on a plate and "she'd throw it away and they'll make him a new children steak." Well manager comes back and tell my husband that his steak was in fact a ribeye (it was def not a ribeye.. no marbling whatsoever) and dropped off our sons steak.... It literally was the pieces we had cut up that they just threw back on the grill. Even pieces our son chewed and spit out when it was rare and too chewy for him. Like GROSS!!! They did take the children's steak off the check and gave us a free dessert( which we didn't even want, we would have rather paid the correct amount for my husbands steak...) The waitress was fine, none of this was her fault because she read us back what we ordered and had it all correct.. but she fell short as to getting us refills (never even offered a 2nd round of wine or beer) and when it was time for the check we gave 2 gift cards $50 each and our card to pay. She brought back our copy to sign and she only took off 1 $50 gift card. We had to call her over and she realized she didn't use both giftcards and had to void our card and redo it. The managers were busy the whole night talking to upset tables. This location really needs to get their stuff together. Again, nice to offer dessert but truly all we wanted was to get what we paid for and how we asked for it and tonight wasn't it. Literally felt like we were scammed outta $160. we will be taking our $$ elsewhere.

We also shared the French fries, and they were excellent. The only disappointment was that both of our steaks came out closer to medium-rare than medium. The flavor was very good, but the undercooking left the filets a little chewier than we prefer and they were missing that tender, almost melt-in-your-mouth texture we expect from a properly cooked filet. That said, we enjoyed the atmosphere, cocktails, sauces and sides, and had a very nice birthday dinner. There was a lot to like about Elliott's. I'd definitely give them another visit--I'd just be a little more specific about the steak temperature next time.

She was incredible throughout the planning process, helped relieve so much of our stress, and made sure everything came together flawlessly. She did an amazing job decorating, and everything was even more beautiful than we imagined. The food was absolutely delicious! We received so many compliments from our guests about how amazing everything tasted, which is something people are still talking about. Staff even accommodated our son (who is 4) and made a small kids burger with fries. We are so grateful to the entire Hidden House team for making our wedding day so special and memorable. If you're looking for a gorgeous venue with an incredible staff, beautiful décor, and amazing food, we wholeheartedly recommend Hidden House. Thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams! We will be back every year to celebrate

For dessert we were too full to have anything rich so we went with the banana cream tart. Definitely a good option to try! It was delicious but light enough to eat after a big dinner.
