    Steak quesadilla.
    Mark C.

We got there 1.5 hours before they were closing and they were already sweeping floors and putting up tables. It almost looked like they didn't want to serve us. Luckily, we were able to get a table and order some food. I wanted to get a quesadilla without onions but server's English was not so good. The steak quesadilla comes with a small salad along with a scoop of sour cream and guacamole. The meal was average.

We tried Rocky Point twice now. One was a relatively early mid-week dinner and the second time was a late dinner at 9:00pm on a Friday. The two experiences were kinda different from an ambience perspective but the food was great in both times. Mid week music was nice and the restaurant was quiet. Friday, it was super loud, I was yelling to order and I was not able to have a conversation with my husband. So if you don't like loud music, nights on a weekend are probably not for you. Restaurant is spacious and there's a big bar area as well. Service is superb! They are fast, they check on you regularly and are very pleasant. The menu is pretty extensive with whole fish options, fish fillet, shrimps, octopus, crab, etc. there are also fajita dishes, tacos, many appetizers to choose from and seafood cocktail dishes so there is something for everyone! We ordered multiple dishes so far but our favorites were the Ranchero fish fillet and the breaded shrimp. The dishes usually come with rice and potatoes and you get to choose either corn or flour tortillas. Flour is our favorite and theirs are very good. The potatoes are basically two slices of very good fried potatoes. The ranchero is so delicious. The fish fillet is huge and it is smothered in cooked onions, peppers and jalapeños so it's a tiny bit spicy but delicious. It is also served with salad. The same sides come with the breaded shrimp. It was cooked perfectly. We are fans of Jamaica. Theirs is refreshing without it being too sweet. They serve chips and salsa as soon as your arrive. Chips is fresh and salsa is medium heat to me. When you order, they get sauces and limes to the table. Prices are a little on the higher side but still acceptable. It is understandable because it's seafood. First time we paid $135. The second time the bill was $81 for 2 jamaicas, 2 rancheros, 1 breaded shrimp and a side of half an avocado. We will be returning because we are enjoying the whole experience every time!

Right in between our fav bagel spot and dairy queen on Gilbert Rd! We decided to give it a try after a friend of ours had nothing but good things to say. In short, it's a nice spot with alot of seafood options and of course quick and the staff were awesome! We enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back. I highly recommend getting the green sauce with the shrimp!

Excellent service as soon as we arrived until we left. The food was amazing, we had the mango ceviche and the supreme nachos. Great flavors, and fresh. Margaritas were fantastic!

We had previously eaten here and enjoyed it. Can't remember what we had then but decided to go again. Not a good decision. The shrimp and scallops ceviche was okay. But he worse but not the best. The sauce it was in was pretty spicy. Hubby had the shredded pork chimichanga. The pork was cubed not shredded. He was not a fan and couldn't eat it.

If you're looking for an authentic mariscos restaurant that's not in Phoenix, THIS is your spot. Restaurant/sports bar, it can get pretty loud in here & may not be the best place for children. Tropical feels with straw & colorful beach decor this place is giving Playa vibes! Complimentary chips & salsa are always given, and the salsa is good & CHUNKY. Micheladas are my go to drink and they make them very well here, with a little spicy kick! Very generous portion sizes and great tasting food. The shrimp coctel is amazing! Most places you have to doctor it up, but here you don't..unless you want a little more spice of course. Now let's talk "toritos" anytime I got to seafood place, I always opt for them. They are chilè gueros stuffed with shrimp, cheese & wrapped in bacon served with soy sauce. Here, they were just okay as they were on the saltier side & some even burnt. But I'd definitely give them another chance! Next, we got the Parrillada Mar y Tierra (land & sea) this dish is meant for sharing. It comes with both carne & pollo asada, breaded shrimp, bacon wrapped shrimp, red breaded fish, & stuffed peppers..and it is BIG! Definitely a must try dish. Service is also really great, the all female servers are quick & always on their toes!

First time here and here are my 5 cents Place was super busy since it's Saturday night but we were sat pretty quickly. The ambiance I don't think it's family oriented since the music was pretty loud and there were tables around us that you can tell were pretty lit ( so very rowdy and loud) The food: SUPER SALTY to a point that I'm not sure if the chefs are even testing/ checkin their salt levels. I ordered limes 3 times to attempt to bring the saltiness down and we simple decided to stop eating because it's honestly not tolerable. My tostada literally tasted like someone smacked you with a big bag of sea salt and bit of seafood. So it's tastes like a bunch of salt with seafood. Our waitress was very good so no complaints on her service. The lemonade was super good so I would come back get a lemonade and that's it. We were hoping this place was going to be our next favorite spot but I don't think we'll be back unless the chefs tones down the SALT. I wonder if I have high blood pleasure right now

Waitress was really nice and did a fantastic job. Food came out pretty quick. Food was fresh and hot. Drinks were 10/10. They played good music. Bathrooms were clean. We will be returning next time. My party ordered the shrimp cocktail with octopus, shrimp ceviche which came with a tostada, carne asada plate, queso fundido and all dishes were a 10/10 (:

I'm looking for a menu and looking at the Facebook page but it looks like an adult Chuck E. Cheese's. All I'm seeing is loads and loads of birthday party photos. My wife and I have been thinking about trying it but the photos and no menu.. I dunno..?

They have delicious food! There's so many selections from Enchiladas, tacos, burritos, shrimp cocktail etc.. the list goes on. Highly recommend this place

Why don't they have a menu online to view? It just says request a quote. Like I'm looking for a remodeling job or a repair on my car?

Just haven't had time to make a website with a menu if you would like pictures of the menu send a Facebook message to the rocky point t page

We had our heart set, so we braved the parking lot and the quoted 1-1.5hr wait (actual wait time: 53 minutes). Greatly appreciate the staff member who took drink orders while we waited as a martini eases the time waiting! Plus, they had a hydration station with water that is much needed in our Arizona heat - thank you! Our server Alex was phenomenal and provided great insights with recommendations. We greatly appreciate it as it was both of ours first time visiting this establishment to try the Arizona Restaurant Week specials. For my 1800th review on Yelp, I couldn't think of a more fitting review - Arizona Restaurant Week helping me venture out to try somewhere new (the Yelp way)! Lastly regarding the experience, it was quite loud due to it being busy, so appreciate Alex repeating somethings over. Thanks for the great service to make this a great night out! What We Ordered: ~ Onward and Upward (Non-alcoholic): my boyfriend enjoyed the flavor, but wild to think a NA drink is $15! He said likely not a do over. ~ Dirty Vodka Martini + Blue Cheese-stuffed Olives: the first outside was not as good as the one at the table. I'd definitely buy another when returning, especially dining in as the olives were delicious. ~ Fresh Pull-Apart Dinner Rolls: very delicious, and we enjoyed! Definitely a splurge as the price point was $12 for 5 rolls. I did find myself wishing they were served with a nice French butter or even a honey cinnamon butter, which would elevate these and help me justify the price point. ~ Arizona Restaurant Week which included a starter, entree, and the selected dessert (boyfriend: Oysters + Sushi selection and me: Caesar Salad + blackened Texas Redfish): Both my boyfriend and I throughly enjoyed and thought it was well worth the $55 per guest price point. Standouts for him were the oysters and sushi, stating they were very fresh. My standout was the delicious redfish, and the sushi as I tried some of his. Everything was fresh and flavorful! We left talking about when we can return for their actual menu versus restaurant week. Love finding great local places via Arizona Restaurant Week. If in the area, stop by this location!

Jim and his crew catch the fish themselves in Alaska, get it packaged and flown to Arizona, and then somehow manage to bring coastal-level freshness right into the middle of the desert. You'll usually spot him at Uptown Farmer's Market (bring a cooler...you'll want to stock up), but he also shows up roadside now and then like a seafood fairy godfather. Jim's even been known to share a killer recipe if you're not sure what to make. Tonight? Halibut's on the menu and I might be eating early...because I've been craving it for weeks.
