Showed up here at 8:45 with a party of 11 for breakfast. Unfortunately, what was described on the sign was not so. We offered to sit separately, but they couldn't accommodate that. We offered to sit separately under three entirely different waiters, but they couldn't accommodate that. We were only given the option to sit on the patio, but chose not to (because it was extremely hot already). There was no one sitting on the patio, but there was a waitress for the patio that could have served our group ‍ They only serve breakfast and lunch, and the restaurant was barely half full, but they didn't have enough servers at almost 9 am. I'm sure the food would have been great...but the irony of the sign did it for me

Strawberry cream cheese French toast. Very delicious. Will reorder.

The food was eye appealing and delicious. The server was very sweet and helpful. The ambiance is beachy and bright.

Had turkey lunch with mashed potatoes and gravy with a side salad. Cheddar Soup with a side of 2 biscuits. The soup was delicious! Our Waitress was so lively! Such a delight.

After eating at The Kitchen Table several time over the past year, I would give it 5 stars overall. Maybe in the middle of summer the food or service may be a 4 when they are super busy but that happens most everywhere at the beach.

Saw the sign with Boston Cream pancakes- drew us in. The pretty yellow plantation like exterior looks like the menu would be pricey- but it is not. Breakfast prices are below 10$ The inside is like a roomy Dennys. The inside is showing it wear-(could use new carpets and paint but with the prices so low - ‍ The wait staff are friendly and they appear to work well with each other. So now on to the pancakes- I was worried that they may be overly sweet but surprisingly they are a perfect balance and oh so delicious!!! My hubby's Eggs Benedict was perfect - the eggs were mesmerizingly enticing. I don't eat Benedict's but their looked delicious. We came during the off tourist season- was sat immediately- oh and coffee delicious not bitter ( both regular and decaf)

Eggs over easy, grits, corned beef hash, aaaand....Pumpkin Pancakes! This is life!

Listen, I can live on breakfast! I can have breakfast for breakfast, for lunch, for dinner, just anytime! So yeah, I'm picky when it comes to breakfast. We were in N. Myrtle Beach for a woman's retreat so I had the day to myself. Breakfast in Myrtle Beach can be a nightmare with the crowds, poor service, and food chucked out the kitchen like an assembly line. But I found a gem in this unassuming spot called the Kitchen Table. Just a little north of Barefoot Landing, the breakfast here was exceptional. I order eggs over easy with corned beef hash and grits, with...wait for drumroll....PUMPKIN PANCAKES. Yeah I said it! It was absolutely amazing! Food cooked perfectly, great service, wasn't too crowded (around 11:30 on a Friday) and just good all the way around. If you want good home style breakfast at a good price point while in Myrtle Beach? The Kitchen Table is your spot!

We had gone on a Sunday and it was moderately crowded. Our server was very slow but realized that he is European and we as Americans are the only ones that eat fast. The food was really very good fresh and unlike any other restaurant around with the variety and dish servings.

    Sunrise mimosa

We were quickly seated, greeted and had our drinks in hand. The inside is cozy and cute--not stuffy at all. I ordered the sunrise mimosa (wonderful) and my husband had the coffee (also great). I ordered the Belgium waffle platter --my eggs were down to perfection and I asked to add chocolate chips and boy did they deliver haha. My husband had an omelette and blueberry pancakes--again phenomenal. This will definitely be a repeat breakfast spot for our family.

Great breakfast menu. Loved the Boston Cream Pancakes. The French toast and omelettes also looked delicious.

View of the marsh from the patio. Seating for 30. Covered from the sun.

It was a very busy, early evening however we still got sat very quickly-- almost to the minute of the hostess' estimation. We were taken to the back and got sat next to a great view of the water. I had a margarita, which was fine and the table started with fried pickles. I'm lactose intolerant and I didn't want to ask the server if the batter had dairy (more on that later). Everyone got something different except for the sushi and entree I shared with my son. My daughter had a Chicken Caesar Salad and for her 16 years she said it might be the best she's had. And y'all this girl loves her a chicken caesar salad. My hubby got a rainbow roll and I'm pretty sure the fried flounder under "Southern Fried Favorites". He thought the flounder was really good. I ordered the lump crab cakes and it was delicious! The rice was amazing and green beans were on point. No critiques there. I couldn't finish it all because it's filling but OMG it was so good. And here's where things go downhill... partially. They have no business serving sushi. The rice was mushy, flavorless and none of the fish tasted fresh. Like I said, my son and I shared, a rainbow roll, spicy tuna and an order of salmon sashimi and it all tasted freezer burned. The sashimi was cut poorly so it made it tough which a cardinal sin, and there wasn't enough soy sauce in the world to save the flavor. I'm from Cali and have had a lot of sushi, good and bad. I make it at home (in SC) with store-bought sashimi grade sushi and mine from home is better. Maybe for the "south" it's good but it definitely fell well below what you'd expect from even a mediocre sushi place. And our server sucked. She looked and acted like she could have cared less to be there, seemed bothered, and slammed my drink down on the table because she seemed preoccupied. And look, I get that it could have been a bad day for her. But my tip fatigue has me frustrated that even with bad service from a waiter we're still expected to tip what, 20%?? She did not deserve it. Y'all there was four of us-- two adults and two teenagers. We aren't high maintenance. Yet I was hesitant to ask too may questions for fear of being an annoying table because from our first interaction with her she was already clearly annoyed. And I didn't want my food spat in because I asked one too many questions. Again I'm lactose intolerant, and I need to be certain I'm not eating dairy. And if something has dairy I will order something different, simple as that. The rest of the meal was great and overall it was a pleasant experience. But this is likely a one-and-done for us.

We sat in the high-top bar area, which was noticeably loud, and while the screened outdoor section offers great views, it was a bit too warm to be completely comfortable. Service was attentive throughout the meal, and the drinks were well-made. My wife ordered the prime rib and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the seafood medley over angel hair pasta. The seafood itself was cooked very well--the shrimp, scallops, and mussels were tender -- but the overall dish was lacking in flavor and could have used more seasoning. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. If you're already in North Myrtle Beach, it's worth a visit for the atmosphere, drinks, and solid service. However, if you're driving a significant distance specifically for dinner, there are several other restaurants in the area offering better food at a similar price point.
