So spacious this was my first time in I was greeted with a welcome in and smiles. Best thing ever! Inside was clean and open I loved the layout. 3 drinks were $18 pretty standard. Drinks are always good food is good ! Stop in, stay a while

Service was fast and friendly. I ordered a caramel iced coffee and a porker to enjoy on the deck. As a bonus I ordered an almond scone for my next morning breakfast. All tasted very good, however the porker was a bit too salty. Enjoyed the outside deck people watching and chatting with other traveler.

Visiting Saint Augustine for three nights, walked across the street to this one of many coffee shops... What a fantastic experience! The only thing better than the food and coffee was the level of service and cleanliness of the dining area! I know there are many of these around town, but this one was fantastic, and a must stop!

The bakery options have something for everyone! Dairy Free, Gluten free, Vegan, they have you covered!~

I admit that I have been the beneficiary of Kookaburra fare many times but this is my first visit to the location myself. This location is very nice, seems clean, good space and well located with easy parking. I have had the Aussie Pies in that past and they are very good. Think Chicken Pot pie but breakfast version. Small personalized size "pie" with egg, bacon, cheese, What's not to like there? This time I had a Peach Muffin. Nice fresh chunks of peach in the muffin and very tasty. We were traveling with someone who needed Dairy Free and that was no problem. Their bakery items are clearly identified for all customers to pick wisely. Coffees, lattes, even the hot chocolate were great also. Service was quick and to the point. Glad I made the visit!

Cute shop with coffee, wine, and meat pies. No labels on the drinks so pay attention to the counter calling items out.

their espresso is AMAZING! pie was pretty good too, a little overpriced for what you get but i'll definitely come back for the coffee!

This place is so spacious during a pandemic that you could do roller skating laps on that concrete floor, but try not to hit yourself on those wood tables or merch shelves- ouch! Must be popular too because we had a solid 15min wait behind 5 people when we entered who apparently all needed some extra fancy labor intensive espresso drink that held up the line. But it's Florida- no one's in a hurry here, right? Those breakfast pies were calling our name, and a sweet pastry too? Don't mind if I do. We're definitely going to walk that off, right? Sure. Truth be told that cinnamon scone was so big it was slowly eaten over 3 days, but the extra insulation on my thighs may last far longer. We decided to sit at an outside table and silently judge everyone who walked in the door while sipping away our own insecurities behind coffee cups. A beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Seeing a 4.9 rating honestly made me pretty skeptical becuase usually places that hyped never live up to it. But wow... this one actually did. I'm pretty sure my 5 stars are gonna help push this place to a full 5.0 The design itself is cute but not exactly perfection, and the checkout line process could definetly be smoother during busy times. BUT the food... thats where this place absolutley shines. The Arepas Special with the corn pancakes filled with eggs, avocado and tomatoes was an absolute BEAST. Fresh, flavorful and super satisfying. Then the Avocado Toast with the sweet pumkin pieces just blew the rest of our taste buds out the window. Such a weird combo on paper but somehow worked sooo good. And finishing it all with a Cafe con Leche and a blueberry scone just put the final dot on this breakfast experiance. It honestly didnt feel like "just breakfast" it felt like an experiance you remember later. Big shoutout to Huhny for a human she is! She absolutley knocked it outta the ballpark with recommendations, brought everything fast to the table, and you could really feel the passion and positive energy she delivered Thank you team, we'll 100% be back next time we visit your cool town St. Augustine.

The mushroom tostadas were probably the best tostadas i've ever had. They were so flavorful and fresh I ate my whole plate. Definitely a must try if you're from or in the area.

There are other animals in the experience, including a floppy ear bunny, a loud parrot (that bites so don't touch!) and a few other animals. Both omelettes were very large and came with choices, I got grits, Mel got home fries. The omelettes were great. Mine had plenty of chicken, an adequate portion of jarred salsa, and plenty of peppers and onions. I'd have liked to have seen tomatoes included. I'm sure I could get that on request. Mel's omelette was loaded with mushrooms, and while I didn't try it, she reported that it was quite good. The grits and home fries were good. Overall, the food was a solid 3, the service tacked on the other star. Gail was great. She was very attentive and offered all the right things at the right times. The 20oz juice portion is a welcome option in a world of small juice pours, but it clocks in at $6. Total ticket, including a 16oz OJ and a coffee, was $49. Maybe I'm just giving boomer vibes, but that's steep for breakfast. The portion sizes were sufficient for both of us to have another small meal off each order. In summary, I recommend this place for a breakfast/brunch (they had a small menu of alcoholic drinks for the brunchers), in spite of the sticker price. I'll be back.

As for the staff......our waitress was good and helpful. Then, about 5 min before we were done, I received a phone call from my daughter and grandson because they got a new kitty. Not something you just talk over the phone about, needed FaceTime! The rudest person I believe I have ever met in 50 years of life, poked her head around the corner and very loudly stated she did NOT want to hear my conversation, and to turn my call down or get off. There was only 1 other customer there, on the other side of the room, we couldn't even see from our seats due to a wall. This was JUST an employee. This woman represented the owner, her sister! We immediately got up, without finishing, walked to the front where I said that was the rudest experience I had ever had. She continued with, "no what you are doing is rude!" I said answering a call from my daughter is NOT rude! Treating a customer this way is and I walked out. My husband went to pay, and asked her if she was the owner. She said no, my sister is. To which he replied, "then I don't want to hear another word out of your mouth! Your opinion does not matter! She didn't like that at all. We paid and tipped our waitress but will NEVER return! I hope that her sister takes this very seriously! It is not ok to be that rude to your customers! I would fire anyone who talked to my customers that way. There is a way to handle things you don't like. She had zero empathy and her approach was unacceptable. Her clout, lacking lol!
