I've been here more than once. Their NY style pizza is good, when it's fresh. Not great, but good. Tonight I just wanted wings and a salad. $18 for a dozen wings. $6+ for a small salad. With tax $27. Was never given the price over the phone. I am all about keeping small places open but to be charged $18 for a dozen wings when this site says $7.50 for delivery. Granted they don't say for 6 or 12. Uh HELLOOOO!!! So as we r getting ready to leave our "new" stomping grounds I say let's roll by n pickup a pie! We pull in, I mask up, n stroll into a small place kinda divey that smells GREAT!!! I walk in n am greeted by Alex, very nice guy so I ask for a menu he hands me a paper one n I head back out to the car to ponder my options. I settle on the classic red sauce with pepperoni n sausage with mozzarella, so u get to choose ur sauce, cheese, veggies, meats n sauces to top it off if u want. They have all sorts of food but we opted for a pie so I went back in n Alex helped me place my order. He told me 15 minutes n told me he wud bring it out when it was ready. Now, if u blink u will miss it n there is NOT a lot of space inside to sit n eat so I TOTALLY suggest takin it home. It wasn't long b4 Alex was walking out with our prize n saying his goodbyes to sum customers that had been inside eating their dinner. Alex came to my window on the passenger side n handed me this hot pie thanked us n we were on our way back home which was a 23 min drive back. Not even half way back home I say "sorry I can't wait, I want to try it while it's still hot" I crack open the simple box n out comes a cheesy billow of perfume that hits my nostrils n I steal a hot slice n take a bite. B4 it reaches my lips u can tell rite away it's nice n thin, foldable if I dare say. The bite is delicious, with a nice chew, sauce rich but not stepping on the meats or overpowering the mozzarella but leaving me with that awsum pizza grease smile that we pizza lovers adore!!! Toppings were abundant n cheese was generous at the end the crust had a nice crispy crackle with a few black spots from the heat of the oven!!! I did give the place 5 stars bcuz they r just sooooo good but so far away from where we currently live that I wasn't able to fully enjoy my pie at its peak of freshness. The last slice has been our favorite pizza place since they've opened. It is THE ONLY pizza my husband will eat. It is authentic handmade NY style pizza and prices are very reasonable. Everything tastes fresh and they are always on point! The staff is super nice. Husband picks up pizza probably every week, so they know him as soon as he calls, lol. Our kids don't really like tomato, so we get a cheese pizza with white sauce and they LOVE IT. Our go to is usually a met lovers or pepperoni and jalapeño. This is the best pizza I've ever had. It's so simple yet amazingly delicious. It's exactly what you want in a pizza. Crunchy crust that doesn't tear your mouth up, cheesy, homemade sauce, lots of fresh toppings, and homemade ranch if you're in to that sorta thing, which I am. The also have a bomb Veggie and a bomb Vegan pizza. Alex was super friendly we chatted about businesses since I own one as well. It's so casual and I love it. I don't need to get dressed up to grab a slice. I can just relax. He graduated culinary school and has been open for almost a year, I think. Which is great. Seems to have worked out some of the kinks that the other reviewers mentioned which means he's all about pleasing his customers. I like that i can watch him personally make my pizza and see it go in the oven. That's an experience that not a lot of places offer. Go check him out. Way back when this place has just opened,I stopped by with one of my kids to order a pizza and surprise everyone at home. Alex, the owner, was working there and he was a really funny, polite and interesting young man. I told Alex I would see him again if I enjoyed the pizza and if not, good luck! Fast forward a few years and while I never have seen Alex again, my wife picks this up, we really enjoy The Last Slice. Their specialty pizzas are really good, My only complaint is that don't have more. It's hard to get throughon the phone because sometimes they are insanely busy, but this is a good problem to have. I like the crust and quality of toppings here, Alex attended culinary school and it shows. I'm not usally a fan of ranch dressing but theirs is the best. I wish they sold it on the side. They also have amazing wings, definitely worth trying. It's worth supporting this local business the next time you want pizza, just be ready to keep calling until you get through. The place is horrifyingly dirty, so I asked my wife to stay in the car because I still wanted to give it a fair chance, especially since I had already placed the order.
