If you're looking for a great pizza, not a fancy pizza, more like a tailgate pizza, this is it. We weren't quite adventurous enough to get a white pizza or the spicy red sauce, but hopefully next time. We went basic and got two large two topping pizzas to eat with some friends. Stopped here to get a couple slices of pizza for lunch. Have driven by a few times prior and was going to try it during their happy hour special (4-6PM) for $1.50 slices. When I stepped up to the counter to order, I was informed that the Supreme pizza was going into the oven and be 8 minutes. Was recommended to wait for the Supreme, so I did. It was well worth the wait as the crispy crust came out with all the toppings. It had sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, black olives and mushrooms that all came together. Excellent! We ordered their wings, a salad and a pizza. The wings were sooo good. We got lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan. The skin was crispy and seasoned just right. The ultimate meat pizza made us happy with the bacon and sausage and..nom nom nom! Our Cesar salad was good would have been great if they gave us our dressing. No worries, we had our own. If you are wandering around San Antonio as a tourist this location is a MUST GO. My wife and I decided to go was greeted by the owner working by himself. He was very helpful in deciding what to get and even other locations to visit later on. I never got his name but he is awesome as well as his quick service. Great local business. Incredibly outgoing owner that goes out of his way to please his customers. All pizzas are made by him and from scratch even the dough. The last time my husband and I ordered a Spicy (one of the specialty pizzas), the crust was burnt in places, the toppings were distributed unevenly, and the pizza wasn't sliced well (some monster slices and some tiny ones). This is best pizza I have had so far in town!!! The crust is perfect, made in a stone oven. I had the house special of white delight and husband had the Hawaiian. Both were incredibly delicious. Great little joint for take out pizza. During lunch hours they have by the slice. They have different types of sauce and I think that's really cool. The spicy sauce is spicy though. Next time I would do a little bit of spicy and mostly normal red sauce. This not really an eat in place so call ahead to place order and pick up. So, I'm surprised by the passion this place inspires in some people. There is a strong consensus among the dozen or so people I've talked to that this place is not great. In fact, there's a joke in my building that "it really might be your last slice." The single slices for sake seem to sit awhile so ordering a full pizza should be better. But, some of the ingredients just aren't up to snuff. The pepperoni, for example, is the sort of small diameter, thick cut stuff that comes on a frozen pizza. For the price, the toppings seem skimpy, too. I would rather get Domino's or Pizza Hut. If I was going to splurge, there are better independents near by, such as Sorrentos or Florios. There seems to be a small group of people who love this place. There are two in my office. The vast majority of people seem to think it's terrible. After one of our guys who loves it ordered pizza for the office, the trashcans were full of pizza. I mean, people threw out their first slice. It's rough pizza when you can't stomach even one slice. read more

I've always been kind of a Pizza Hut or Papa John's kind of person when it comes to pizza but I've tried to venture out and I've seen this place on yelp with great reviews so I decided to check it out. First time I had it it was amazing they have a spicy red sauce that is actually a little bit more spicy than they let on but it was still amazing. Just came there not too long ago for a Margherita pizza and it was delicious; I added a fried egg on top because I had that at another pizza joint that was different for me and it ended up being amazing on top. I think the owner said it was his first time someone ordering that but it tasted amazing!! Fried just right so that the yolk wasn't all the way cooked.
