My new husband and I are incredibly happy we found Julius as our photographer! I had met him while he was photographing my friends' wedding and loved his work. After searching through the never ending list of photographers, I always came back to him so it was an easy decision. Julius is an amazing wedding photographer! My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of a camera. He is very responsive and helped us plan our timeline to make sure that we could fit in the time for all the shots we wanted with a list full of suggestions-- which we really needed! It was a fun day to shoot with Julius! We spent couple hours in Catalina Island. He captured my fiancé and myself very naturally with enough intimacy. O.M.G. we can't say enough amazing things about the light & glass for our engagement and wedding photos. BOOK HIM NOW! First, we booked the light and glass because of 1. Julius's portfolio looked spectacular and 2. he is passionate about his work. We never felt like just another client; we felt like he really cared about us and listened to what we wanted. During our engagement session, we found out Julius always has back-up memory cards so if one memory card fails during the shoot, he has a secondary. WHY is this important? We found out months later a co-worker lost a bunch of wedding photos because of a faulty memory card! He is responsible and reliable, trust me, you don't want to have to worry on your wedding day. Julius was quick to respond and very detailed. We worked through timeline, how much time for first look, romantics, and bridal photos to help plan our whole day. Julius had the best ideas for photos and sees the beauty in backgrounds we would have never expected. For example, one of our best photos was in a parking lot. Julius never stopped taking photos. Our favorite thing was the candid shots. We were able to relive our wedding day through someone else's eyes which we cannot thank him enough for. I'm so thankful we chose Julius as our photographer, what great memories he captured! We met with Julius once before the wedding, about 3 months out, and he helped familiarize us with the day-of procedure. He was very organized and gave us a list of shots we could tailor to our liking. One of our special requests was to get photos of our guests that were candid (but flattering!) We also asked that we optimized the time so that we could be with our guests as much as possible, rather than taking photos all night. Despite the tight schedule, he was very accommodating, and was able to get great photos of us and our guests. I was all nerves that day, and running late in the first hour. Julius was reassuring and eased us into the bridal dressing room photos. His disposition is friendly and professional. He gives good direction and keeps the interaction natural, which is reflected in the sincere moments he captured. He really optimized the location as well, using much of the garden and getting some of the LA skyline, which was a more subtle part of the back drop. One of my favorite pictures is one that he took from outdoors, looking in at the party- so creative, and the lighting was beautiful! Julius was our photographer for our wedding this past April. He was truly the best photographer that we could have asked for. From the first engagement photos to the wedding day, he was incredibly easy to work with and he really made an effort to make us feel comfortable and happy throughout the entire process. It's been over a year since my wedding, and I am so, so, SO glad that I asked Julius to be my wedding photographer. We are so incredibly happy that we found Julius and chose him as our photographer!
