We visited from San Francisco and were blown away by the amazing options on the menu. Eloy (the owner) is incredibly friendly and makes in-house nut milks that are fabulous. They also have oat, which is hard to find. The menu is loaded with fresh, locally sourced ingredients that are healthy & tasty. Unbelievable find in South Charlotte off ardrey Kell next to big view diner! Finally after looking for years for a healthy organic all day modern breakfast and lunch cafe I have found it! Açaí and grain bowls, sandwiches, salads, smoothies, juices and totally organic no chemicals! The coffee is to die for and all I do is search for coffee since I have reflux nothing satisfies me but this coffee was the best I had which was a vanilla bean latte with their HOUSE MADE ALMOND MILK! Yep they make their own nut milks...everything is only with the finest quality ingredients which yes it's a bit pricey but not really for what you're getting. The owner Eloy was the nicest guy who helped us pick out everything, and his family also owns OGGI Italian restaurant in the same shopping center. I can't wait to come back tomorrow to try more things. This is the breakfast sandwich with a Shiitake mushroom and a buckwheat with cacao nib pudding which I'm not a chocolate person, but it was so light and not super sweet since it's cacao it was divine! Superb! I hope that this place does not go outb of business anytime soon! It's one of the healthiest, tastiest and cleanest cafes that I've been to. They seem to take extreme pride in the quality of their ingredients down to the Berkey water filter (supposed to be the safest portable water filter). I also have this water filter at home because of the taste and purity. Love the smoothie bowls, butternut squash soup and grain bowls. Oh yeah!!!! So delish and great realxing environment. I happened upon this lovely little juice/coffee shop for the first time today and will for sure be back! I have worked for a long time in the specialty coffee industry and absolutely loved the pour over I received. I also tried the "El Green Go" pressed juice and I just wanted more when it was gone! It was super healthy but still tasted amazing. The vibe of the shop is super cute, with little succulents everywhere (my fav). I was in for lunch this past weekend. We are waiting at the counter to order. 2 employees had there back to us working on packing up orders which is fine but at least say I'll be just a minute. The male employee finally turns around and had a very bad attitude. Finally able to order. I ordered a blt. Just a blt. When the sandwich Came it had onion and egg. I took the sand which back and said that I ordered just a blt. This same employee told me that they make it as it is listed on the menu with egg and onion. I explained I thought if I said just a blt that meant a blt only. I asked if it was possible for them to remake it and was told no. That there was nothing wrong with it and he wouldn't do it. I have never in my life been to a restaurant that would not remake something. I took the sandwhich and threw it in the trash in front of him and walked out. He did not care at all. So instead of just remaking it , he was fine with me throwing it away and walking out. That's not how a business needs to treat a customer at all .Needless to say I will never return or recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more
