Great little neighborhood bar with good basic food No frills in the centre of a high end area- The 12.00 steak night was actually very good! A solid little clean dive bar Gotta love the one star review complaining- It's not the Ritz! It's a cheap local bar folks Unbelievable

Loved this neighborhood bar/restaurant for its ambiance and pressed Po-boys. We received personal service and can't wait to go back!

****Sigh**** This bar is the perfect bar and it's in the perfect spot. I was stuck in a ridiculous amount of traffic on Wednesday, August 14th. I was just straight annoyed! I walked and had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of meeting Joe (while he was doing Joe things). Joe definitely made me smile and laugh and so did B (please forgive me my girl. I didn't write it down.) This is a cool vibe small and quaint ambiance. I'll definitely be back.

Great little locals place but all are welcome. Neat and clean, friendly bartender, very attentive too! I would recommend you popping in. While we didn't eat, the food looked and smelled great!

Everything about the bar is amazing. Fast service, friendly and best pressed sandwich's. Blerta is the owner, she is cutie pie. They are opening a new restaurant called P3.

So I'm in Nola for the first one and The Little Easy is my first restaurant stop after just wondering around the neighborhood where my hotel is. First reaction, it's cool, nothing extraordinary. It's giving local dive bar, where everyone knows your name ;) The young lady (I think she was the bartender) was very nice and welcoming. Another guy (maybe manager) was cool too. I'm a Jersey Shore fan and one episode they talked about eating Muffuletta sandwiches. It was on the menu here, so...I got it! Here's what I had: -Muffuletta -Fries -Bud Light Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious!! When I arrived what turned out to be the cook was sitting at the bar on his phone. When I placed my food order he went back to the open kitchen. I can guarantee he washed his hands BEFORE he made my meal, but I was hungry and hot so instead of doing my usual "Umm excuse me" I said a quiet prayer and hopefully I don't get sick in NOLA! Will I go back? Sure, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so!

This place was great! We were being tourists for the weekend and happened to catch the end of the Halloween parade, and then on our walk home we decided to pop in. The service was friendly and we were able to catch the game on the TVs. We didn't get anything to eat, but people definitely seemed to come in knowing what they wanted to eat, so I'd recommend getting something. The ambiance is very neighborly. Everyone seemed to know the bartenders and they seemed to know everyone right back. It was great!

We were caught in the rain, so we ran for shelter and found The Little Easy. This is a dive bar ambiance, if you're looking for that vibe. At 2:00 in the afternoon, there's not a whole not happening. But the booth was comfy, so we sat inside. I opted for a French 75, but the bartender/server opted to put seltzer instead of champagne in it. It was good! Hats off to the bartender for putting her twist on it. For lunch, I got the muffuletta. It was...different. It was a pressed sandwich, and that was something I was my used to. Still good though. Recommended if you're in the Warehouse District and need a bite to eat.

My daughter is a huge fan of chicken wings--like, she wants to eat them every day --so she was beyond excited when we walked in. We were seated immediately and ordered drinks--me, a much-needed beer, and my daughter, a soda. For food, we went with the lemon pepper wings, nachos, and onion rings. Let me tell you... these wings were . Some of the best I've ever had! Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside . I honestly wish we had a place like this back home in Cali. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and super helpful, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to next time! Highly recommend for wing lovers.

When we walked in the hostess hardly acknowledged us. I asked if we could sit at the bar and she said yes so we walked over. The bar was full so we went back and asked if we could do a table instead. She laughed in our face and looked at us like we were crazy or inconveniencing her. And she was lounging on the bench on her phone, not even behind the counter to greet guests. There were tons of empty tables that hadn't even been cleaned off yet so we just sat at the cleanest one that at least didn't have dishes on it. It took FOREVER for a waitress to even come to us and take our order. After we placed our orders I think our waitress sensed that we were not having a good time so she apologized for the wait and was very kind and pleasant compared to the hostess. I wanted to try the pepper jack boudin egg-rolls. My boyfriend got the fried local shrimp. I did not like the boudin egg-roll. It was fried very hard and I wasn't the biggest fan of the boudin sausage but I wanted to try it because I never had it. You win some you some. I just ended up eating my boyfriend's shrimp because it had taken so long to get our food that the kitchen was basically getting ready to close so I didn't order anything else. Soooo yea. Not my go to choice for a bar. They did have these cool movie theatre style lounge chair in front of the big screen though so that was cool.

Located right at St. Charles & Carrollton on the streetcar line, it's super easy to get to and always buzzing in the best way. The drink options are endless--great cocktails, frozen margaritas, beer by the glass or pitcher, and a huge variety of beers to choose from. TVs are everywhere, making it a perfect spot to catch sporting events, meet up with friends, or just hang out solo. The vibe is low-key, casual, and welcoming--no frills, just a consistently good time. I also love that they're open 11 AM to 1 AM, seven days a week, which is clutch no matter the day or occasion. If you're looking for great happy hour options, strong cocktails, classic New Orleans eats, and an Uptown spot where you can relax and connect with friends, Cooter Brown's always delivers. This will sound weird to say: Walk-On's isn't good, which made it great. Here's what I mean. You aren't coming into Walk-On's for high-end tasting menu cuisine, or beautiful sights, or the kind of people watching you'll get at sexier, hip bars in this or any city. But if you wanna grub and watch a game? I would come to Walk-On's every week if it was near my house. Lots of TVs. Food comes out of the kitchen fast. The mozzarella "logs" are magnificent, and absolutely terrible for you...but not any worse than the doughnut bread pudding, built on actual Krispy Kreme doughnuts, which almost left me with a heart attack. The waffle fries were great every night. (The burger? Not as great.) The prices for a bourbon "double" pour are very fair, much more so than the prices in other cities I hit on a regular basis. The wings, I am told, are solid. There is a general sense that everyone on staff is hustling, based on my three visits there this week, even when the space wasn't that crowded. I will be back for future Jazzfests!

The back bar doesn't serve all the drinks and mainly does the traditional absinthe experience- great- but there's nothing that says that and there's tables and chairs but no one to educate you or offer suggestions. There's the back bartender. It's all very confusing. The back area would be sick with a piano player or acoustic guitar player or even a small jazz band and someone to invite you to experience "absinthe" and more so, traditionally. Soon after the reservation was secured, I received emails stating the dress code policy and its strict adherence. Based on these emails and reviews, we were excited to dress up and have a lovely date night and dinner. Boy was I shocked. Imagine my surprise to walk in and see table after table of young guys in shorts and sneakers (a big no no according to the stated policy) and the table immediately next to us were several rowdy and rambunctious guys with backwards ball caps on their heads. Now, if this was the expectation, I would have no objection. But to plan an evening dressed up for the town, then sit next to frat boys. Not what I was expecting, nor would I have booked. On the rooms and atmosphere: we were immediately taken to the back, upstairs section of the restaurant. Not knowing anything about the layout, I was hesitant to ask about this section. Big mistake. We felt as if we were brushed aside and forgotten about. Exceedingly long times between order and delivery. Missed and mistaken orders seemed to be the normal. While the food was ok... it was just that. Ok. So, my recommendation is to avoid this if you think you will have a romantic, civil evening. My suggestion would be to go to Antoine's. I would like to update/ edit this review. When it comes to food, I will say the quality, presentation, and taste is excellent. Well above average. The rather unfortunate atmosphere, the non polished wait staff, and the layout of the restaurant severely diminish the overall rating. I do hope this clarifies the overall critique.
