The atmosphere is darling! Small indoor seating area and no A/C but there are fans and we were fine. so if it's packed and tables are full just get it to go and sit on a bench close by to enjoy. We stopped by Lobster Shack Key West and tried the classic lobster roll. While it didn't quite beat DJ's Clam Shack for me, it was definitely close and still very good. The lobster was fresh and well-prepared, and my girlfriend really liked how nicely toasted the bread was--it added great texture to the roll. This place came highly recommended and was on the top of my list for Key West, but I have to admit I was a little disappointed upon arrival. The location is cute, but there is hardly any seating and it's tiny, no bathroom to use for customers we had to walk across the street to the beach bar bathroom, the prices are rather high but that's also to be expected being lobster items in Key West, and everything is an extra cost. The lobster roll was delicious but the limeade was underwhelming definitely not enough lime. If you want an extra pickle, it's an up charge, butter- up charge etc. the service was fine we only saw one young girl working, she wasn't super friendly but efficient enough. read more

The best tail in town! A friendly gentleman at the front explained most of the rolls are the cold ones, except the Key West roll (add extra butter). By the time we paid, we had the roll with chips and lemon in hand. In this small, busy location the proprietor checked on us twice and we devoured the delicious food. I give this five stars because the food is great and Tim is so nice I would recommend that you should try the lobster bisque it's not so salty and it's so creamy it really worth your money. While staying in the area we saw this little spot and checked the reviews - they're all pretty good, so we stopped in for lunch on a weekday. The staff was friendly and helpful. The menu is simple and involves lobster or shrimp done in some pretty fun ways... grilled cheese, on rolls (lobster or shrimp rolls), or in a salad. We tried a shrimp salad and a shrimp roll and both were made with delicious and fresh shrimp. The shrimp roll was pretty good! Bread was fantastic! The salad was ok, but kind of small and not very filling, especially considering the price. Overall... nice place to stop in for lunch, but on the pricey side. Still, worth a visit! read more

I had seen multiple TikTok's about this place and KNEW on my recent trip down to the Keys that I had to give this place a try! If you don't read anymore of this review, just know, WOW this is worth every penny! This is a very small "shack" located by many houses and I almost missed it! There is street parking at a current rate of $5 an hour(as of 1/2024). The service was very fast! They are very strict on outside drinks, so either order something or take your box to go. There is very limited seating inside and one picnic table outside. The food: Holy Moly! This is one of the most expensive sandwiches I have ever gotten at around $30! However, there is soooo much lobster meat stuffed in! The pieces are large and perfectly tender! Each bite was absolutely heavenly!! So fresh and the best seafood item I ate while in the Keys!
