Their fries are the best part and well-seasoned. Depending on the person, it could be considered overly-salty. Their beer cheese is pretty flavorful, as well. Their burgers are tender, juicy, and a good flavor. - Menu. Decent and short. - Location. Fairly easy to find downtown and there are other businesses and restaurants close by. Street parking is available, which is metered during the weekdays. - Price. With the exception of the sides, which I explain below, it's fairly good value for money, given the quality and decent size portions. What's not - Quality. Their soft pretzel sticks were not as soft as I expected. They were actually harder than I hoped. - Dishes come with potato chips. Their sandwiches come with potato chips. Fries, coleslaw, or salad cost extra. My hummus pita wrap and my friend's fish sandwich automatically come with potato chips, so ordering the fries cost extra. Not cool. This is a matter of personal preference. This is a pub, not a deli, so potato chips should not be an automatic side. - Not many vegetarian or vegan options. There is hummus, a salad option, and a fish option. Very limited, which is a detractor. - Service. One of our family members ordered their burger with no pickles and no mustard, but the wait staff made an error when they entered our order. I understand mistakes happen, but simple things like this take additional time to fix. The wait staff had to put in the correct order and we had to wait longer. Additionally, we had difficulty flagging down staff when we needed things. Their staff are nice, but they don't appear well-staffed. It was not full the Sunday afternoon we were there, so I'm uncertain what a busy time actually looks like. - Layout. Quiet, cozy, and perfect for some pre-weekend indulgence. The staff were wonderful--super friendly, checked in just enough so we didn't feel neglected, and honestly went above and beyond. My favorite part? They boxed up our leftovers right at the table. I don't know why this feels like such a rare treat, but I adored it. We started with drinks--an Old Fashioned for Adventure Buddy (classic) and a Blueberry Lemonade cocktail for me (fancy, fruity, perfect). Then we jumped into the food. First up: Bosco Bruschetta ($14). Porcini mushrooms on toasted bread, shaved Parmigiano, balsamic drizzle...and SO MANY MUSHROOMS. Creamy, rich, and overflowing off the little toasts. Highly recommend. Like, I'd go back just for this. For dinner, I went with the Eggplant Parmigiana ($24). This was a serious dish--lightly breaded eggplant layered with marinara and mozzarella, plus a huge side of pasta. The eggplant itself was perfect, not just drowned in sauce, and came in its own bakeware dish. I ended up taking about two-thirds home, which I have zero complaints about. Adventure Buddy had the Gnocchi Sorrento ($24) and added a filet mignon. The gnocchi were like little pillows of happiness, perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the filet came out exactly medium-rare. Chef knows what's up. We couldn't resist dessert--a slice of chocolate peanut butter to split. SO good, and surprisingly light. Honestly, I could have eaten the whole thing (and, mostly did). Also, shout-out for the bread and dipping oil they brought out right when we sat down. I was starving, as usual, and that little gesture made me very happy. Total bill came to $132 with tip, which is really reasonable for the portions, quality, service, and slightly upscale-but-not-stuffy vibe. It has been quite some time since we last dined here and we came at the right time, we were able to go right up to the counter and place our order to dine in and the staff member was very friendly and answered a few questions which was perfect. We ordered the flaming cheese and forgive me on the name that and two gyros and a water and a soda and our flaming cheese came out and the pita bread was nice and warm and naturally the cheese was flaming, hot and very flavorful and absolutely perfect. The gyros are incredible. They are filled with meat and the other essential toppings shall I say I'll rolled into a freshly heated pita. While we were eating, it really got busy to wear almost all the tables were filled, and the inside is very relaxed very welcoming and extremely clean and the staff members walking around are always checking on you to see if you need anything and if you need any refills on any of your sodas or waters. We highly recommend stopping here if you're in the mood for Greek food, they have all different type of selections from your basic Gyro to Greek fries to regular fries two more elaborate dinners, all freshly prepared and well present presented. Selections include eggs (any way you like 'em), pancakes, bacon, scrapple, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, sausage, excellent coffee (which they do keep coming for as long as you stay), various juices and other breakfast beverages, and basically... if it deals with breakfast, they got you covered!
