It was a wonderful experience, the food was amazing and our waitress was top notch! We were a party of six, everything came out timely and with extra care.

Lovely evening out. We made reservations early before catching a show at Vinegar Hill and it was the perfect start for the evening. Andy was our server and he was knowledgeable about the menu and had a charming personality. The food was in abundance and savory. Looking forward to the next trip back!

The food was amazing- especially the empanadas and the meat selection! You can also order every drink as a mocktail which is nice. The ambiance is beautiful, tastefully dark and a little sexy. The waiter and waitress we had (I believe her name is Natya- I know she is from Albania but I didn't get the spelling of her name) was top notch. We had a pretty loud and needy-ish crew of 12 for a bachelorette party. Needless to say, we were a lot to handle and she was EXCELLENT. As someone who has served and bartended, kudos to her. Even when I was walking in and out (we were in the outside area), the waiter RAN to open the doors for me. I mean, just look at the tomahawk. Easily one of the best cuts of meat I had ordered ever. It's a little pricy but worth it. It's good for a nice date night or special event.

Best steaks We have had from the area! The carpaccio was amazing and same with the desert. If you like amazing food and good vibes this is the spot to receive both.

Wow! What an amazing steak spot. Make sure to make a reservation because it's hard to get into, even for the bar. The bar is really pretty with TVs and a fun vibe. The dining room is a little fancier with lots of tables. The service was fantastic and everything we got for food was amazing. We got the tomahawk special and it was cooked perfectly. The salad, sides, drinks, dessert. Everything was well done. I will have to come back!

I could not recommend Lost Fire more! It is amazing. The ambiance is 10/10, service also 10/10 and most importantly the food is top notch. I got the 10 oz filet and garlic mash. I've never had such a perfectly cooked filet in my life. The garlic mash was good but I really wish I opted for the smoked, roasted baby potatoes because those are the real star. It was my bday dinner and the server handed me a postcard upon arrival. It's the small things that set them apart. If you find yourself in Kennebunkport, go, eat & enjoy.

When in Southern Maine, make this dining experience a stop. Pro tip, when planning that stop, make reservations, do not try to do a walk-in (we went on a Sunday night and they were packed - so grateful for reservations. For a started, I would suggest the grilled provolone. My wife had the shrimp with a butternut squash side and I got the NY Strip with creamed spinach. We finished with Blueberry Gelato. Great place that we go to anytime we come to Maine.

The absolute best restaurant around. From the drinks to the food everything is top flight. I love the June Bug and the porterhouse. The bartenders give expert service. The bar is great for socializing and meeting people.

In my Top 100 restaurants. A Fantastic meal. It's worth the hype and high demand to get in. Wow! Where do I even start on this review? First off, I have been to some of the best barbecue/steakhouses in the USA, and this one maybe is / if not the best I have been too. Definitely in my top 10. Unlike most high end steakhouse restaurants, this one has a more casual relaxed romantic feel inside and out. The setting is romantic and it is located off the map slightly north of kennebunkport Maine. Think in the woods feel and setting. The restaurant decor is unlike any place I have ever been. I made my online reservation 1 month in advance so you know. The parking lot was completely filled when we drove up. The service to start was something I have never experienced before. We were celebrating a special occasion and they put us in a private table location. Jennifer was our waitress and I have to say in this review that she was probably one of the best / fun waitresses I have ever had at a restaurant. Thank u so much for the laughs and experience. Your amazing! The food was literally perfect! /yes I said that, everything served was amazing. Please. Can I be lucky enough to go there again? Mail order. lol. Not possible....... Maybe another trip across the country someday.... lol. Would've been nice to meet the chef. Ok, now for the amazing food review. The tableside bread with the 2 dips was unlike anything I have ever had. So much bright flavor that we bought the cooks (book) just to take the recipe home with us. Just fantastic! My picture shows it half eaten already, opps.... The Atlantic salmon was amazing....Period The grilled provolone cheese dish was amazing.... The heart of Palm salad was great, a little small tho, more please lol. The bread pudding desert was to die for, come on. Just ridiculously good. Most importantly- The bone in ribeye steak I ordered was a perfect 10 for me. Cooked to perfection and not overly seasoned or flared up. Just traditional wood fire tastes that makes this place so unique. It's like a mixture of Argentina & Italian cooking.. oh my - that was simply perfection. Simplicity sometimes is always the best cooking technique. Wowzers...... In conclusion, I wish someday I get the experience to taste this restaurant again. It was simply perfection in every way. Walking out I even bought the $35 book of the recipes. Unfortunately I don't own a type of barbecue that I can cook 24hr with. Guess I'll start with the dips and seasonings. I would absolutely highly recommend this restaurant to you especially for romantic couples and groups. Please let me know how your experience goes ? Thank you Lost Fire. Your amazing.....

The Lost Fire was truly an unforgettable dining experience! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful inside--warm, inviting, and full of character. Our waiter was incredible and made the night even more special. We're from Omaha, NE (so we know our steaks!), and since we arrived a bit early, he actually took the time to show us the cuts before we ordered. Such amazing service and such a kind, genuine person! The food was outstanding--perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can really tell the care and craftsmanship that goes into every dish. Between the atmosphere, the service, and the food, everything exceeded our expectations. I would recommend The Lost Fire over and over again to anyone visiting Kennebunkport--it's an absolute must-try!

My friend had the gnocchi for dinner which she said was very good and the rest of us had the steak frites which I have to say is the best steak frites I've ever had!! I'm dreaming of it and wish I didn't live states away. It was cooked perfectly and came with delicious julienne fries with a yummy sauce. We also tried their new tallow bearnaise sauce with the steak and wow, so good. My toddler was licking the sauce containers clean. Can't wait to return in the future. We made…read morea reservation at The White Barn Inn Restaurant about a month in advance to celebrate my birthday, noting both the occasion and a simple seating request due to my husband's height. Upon arrival, we were initially seated in what felt more like a brightly lit, casual tavern or breakfast room, completely at odds with the refined dining experience we expected. Surrounded by families and very casual attire, it was confusing and frankly off-putting. After asking the host stand, we were eventually moved to the actual dining room, which was beautiful - dim, elegant, and exactly the ambiance we had hoped for. Service throughout the evening was polished and professional, and every dish was plated beautifully. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. While we understand that tasting menus consist of smaller portions, each course, just two or three bites, was entirely forgettable. The flavors lacked balance and subtlety, which is surprising at this price point. The beef tartare in a cigar like wrapper was very mid. One of my early courses was a scallop dish, and the scallops were cooked so poorly they were the rubberiest I've ever had (an immediate red flag in a restaurant of this caliber). My main course, a tenderloin, arrived as an overcooked end piece. After sending it back and requesting rare, it returned slightly less well done, still an end cut, and completely overwhelmed by a salty, heavy red wine demi-glace that tasted more like something from a packet than a refined sauce. It was one of the least appetizing beef dishes I have perhaps ever had. The cheese plate featured Great Hill Blue which some might love but is available at my local Stop & Shop so didn't really knock my socks off, a boring cheddar and a third cheese I can't even recall. At a restaurant of this caliber, I was expecting a much more curated collection of exciting, super, stinky cheeses that one could not find at a chain grocery store. At nearly $700 for two people (with a few drinks and a multi-course menu), the experience simply did not come close to justifying the cost. The following night, we had a $200 dinner at Chez Rosa, the Little French bisto in downtown Kennebunkport. The meal there FAR surpassed this meal in both flavor and execution. Based on our experience--and what seems to be echoed in more recent reviews--the quality of the food here no longer matches its reputation or price point. This was meant to be a special occasion destination, but instead left us feeling frustrated and genuinely let down.

We ended up ordering oysters and a poke bowl. The oysters were super tasty and fresh. The poke bowl was loaded with fish and veggies, but the rice was obviously a day old and was a bit hard and clumpy. The sauce on the poke bowl was also a bit salty. It's your typical, upscale American cuisine, with a tiny portion of the menu dedicated to Asian-fusion esque food. I came up on a day trip so I was satisfied with my general go-to dish when coming to restaurants like this, which is a fish sandwich or fish n'chips. We also got an order of crab cakes because I wanted to eat something that was locally sourced and well, it was fine. Again, I wasn't blown away, but I wasn't offended by it either. We started with the citrus and fennel salad and grilled raddichio and these were both so fresh and delicious, we had to leftover vegetables this were exceptional. Then came the asparagus pizza, pork and beef meatballs, and the focaccia as our second course. We almost skipped the focaccia- that would have been a huge mistake. That is a must order, the texture was biscuit like and the seasonal flavored butter was divine. The pizza was really blowing us away with the white sauce and the chili crisp combination. The pasta and lamb shank came out next and at this point we couldn't see how it could get any better but then it did! The lamb shank is huge and cooked so beautifully. The pastas were definitely the standout bites of the course. The carbonara noodles are thick and cooked perfectly and the sauce is so rich a creamy.
