Pretty decent bar food. I had the "build your own burger" of Swiss and carmelized onions. Service at the bar was quick and efficient. About 4 big screens to watch while you're eating. ( dining alone on business which alleviates me staring off into space). The fries were a little greasy, but then again, aren't they all? Sam Adams on tap was refreshing and tasty. Very disappointed today when we went for brunch. I am not sure if they changed cooks but the food was certainly sub par. Several weeks ago we went and ordered the spanish omlet and the french toast. Both were delicious. The spanish omlet had pico de gallo in it which was yummy. Cant say the same today. Also ordered a CA omlet which stated it had mushroom, tomato and onion in it along with some cheese. What arrived were both omlets were loaded with cheddar cheese(some not even melted). The spanish omlet didnt have the pico de gallo (as advertised in menu) and a scant number of chopped tomato. The CA omlet was the same...it was basically a cheese omlet .. mushrooms,onions and tomato...barely there. Toast was cold. Again, we were so disappointed. Im afraid we wont be back. My husband and I went for dinner on Tuesday night (7pm). The bar was busy, but only 1 table was occupied in the dining room. Not wanting the noise and energy of the bar, we opted for the dining room. There was no hostess, so we chose our table and seated ourselves. Luckily, the other diners were in the process of paying their bill, otherwise I'm not sure when we would have been noticed by the waitress. Unless you are seated in the bar area, chances are you could be ignored. Another couple came in and sat at the back of the dining room. They must have waited for 10 minutes before anyone noticed they were there. My husband commented, "They'll never be back." Our waitress was pleasant and competent, but not overly attentive. Our orders were taken, our drinks and food delivered, our bill delivered, but there was no checking back to see if we needed anything. The food was good and reasonably priced. We'll try it again. Perhaps, someone will be doing a better job of monitoring the dining room by then. read more

We have to say that we drove from out of town just to check this place out after hearing a commercial on the radio.

My husband and I went there for a Saturday night dinner; we were underwhelmed. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were greeted right away and seated in the dining room. The first thing we noticed was how dirty the carpet was. It almost seemed the floor had never been cleaned. (Another guest mentioned the same thing when he entered the restaurant.) There is a dark brown path from the door through the dining room. I realize it is winter and hard to keep carpets clean but this looked like the carpet was never cleaned. (The bar area has tile.)This makes you wonder how clean the rest of the restaurant is. The special was onion soup which we both had. Bad choice. On top of the soup was a huge roll that appeard to be cut in half and placed on top. It soaked up all the broth and we were left with just the onions and a small amount of broth. The bread turned into a big blob of dough in the soup bowl; not very appetizing. I had the Bella burger and my husband had the chicken sandwich. Both dinners were fine. I wish that my Bella burger was served on a whole wheat bun vs a white bun. On a positive note, our waitress was attentive and very good. As our dishes only came with a side of french fries, she offered us substitute side dishes which we appreciated. And, we received our dinners without much of a wait; so the service was good. read more

The drinks were pretty good but the menu was small not much variety. I order a pizza with mozzarella,, tomatoes and fried eggs. The pizza like a frozen pizza, cheap. The fried eggs were so undercooked that the whole egg was liquid after leaving my stomach was upset and nauseated. read more

Had an amazing dinner at Lyme Grill and felt I needed to write a review. First of all I loved the atmosphere in there and the service was great. We started with the nachos (my husband LOVES nachos) and added pulled pork. AMAZING! We then ordered the chicken ranch pizza with a wedge salad which I loved. My husband is a bit of a beer snob so he was psyched at the beer selection. We both ordered the Thimble Island IPA. How much better does it get? Overall a great date night with my hubby. I have never posted a review for anything- but I couldn't believe this experience! Food is really good. We WERE regular customers. That's no longer going to be the case. Tonight the service was terrible- multiple errors and on the last one I told the waitress it wasn't acceptable- the order was clear. Next thing I know a manager is at the table telling my family that he is waiting on us because the waitress is crying and blaming us for the errors. The manager so rude, condescending and frankly attacked us. Another waitress who had nothing to do with it started attacking us as well saying that our waitress is great and we were wrong. Long story short - here is my take away-the customer is always wrong and the waitress always right. No need to do any fact finding or verification regarding the concern! Message received loud and clear! We get what we get and it better be ok even if we didn't order it that way. Of note- we were THE ONLY table in the seating area - there were some bar patrons - so it wasn't about volume. I will say this - late in the game when I was trying to pay and get out of there - another manager who called himself the "Assistant Manager" appeared and did try to intervene- if he had handled the issue from the start it probably would have ended on a more positive note. He did seem to understand the issues and did attempt to fix it. Too little too late- by then we were done. We have recommended this restaurant to friends and have sent just sent message that we were wrong. Sad.... the roots are there but the management and wait staff (at least tonight was awful). read more

the staff are all super friendly and make you feel right at home. We just moved to the area and have stopped in a few times and it feels like we've been going here for years. The food is also good - basically America bar food but they have a good variety and everything we've tried has been delicious. We were looking for a place to go today during the snowstorm. We saw that Lyme bar was open and we had never been before so we stopped in for some food and drinks. Our bartender, TJ, was not only handsome, but highly entertaining and made a more than satisfactory margarita. The only things that were questionable about our experience were the music choices at times and whether or not TJ was single. He was clearly very good with his hands behind the bar which made us wonder if he was just as talented with them outside of work. We will definitely be back to check out the outdoor patio, but also to hopefully score more than a drink! read more

We were excited to try this restaurant again after a good experience in the bar with just my husband and me. We came back with our two young children thinking that this might be the next easy and good restaurant to come to as a family. The waitstaff was friendly and the menu and drinks seemed good. We won't be back however, because my husband's cobb salad arrived without egg, bacon, and avocado and after the 20 minutes it took them to replace it and after myself and more importantly our kids were well done with dinner. The management refused to comp the salad. Basic business skills gone bad. We spent over $100 tonight. You'd think that they would acknowledge their mistake and for the sake of future business they would have comped the $17 salad. I can't recommend an establishment like this. read more

the lime bar has been on my list for some time now and yesterday me and my co-workers stopped in for drinks at the end of the day. it was a beautiful day and we sat on the patio, expanding our party with no problem. the service was great. i didn't order any food but did have bits of the fries, eggplant fries, and mussels. all delicious and i'm looking forward to going back! this is definitely a welcome addition to the area and with the weather getting better and better every day outdoor seating is invaluable! read more

Only rating the bar- stopped in one night with a friend for a couple quick drinks. We loved our bartender and the drinks were great. Some people, believe it or not, can't handle a basic margarita. I've been served some poor excuses for a margarita but I remember their margarita was spot on & absolutely took care of the craving that I walked in there with. What a pleasant surprise! I fell into this restaurant on a Wednesday evening on the early side. The bar was hopping and because I had my elderly mother with me, I asked to be seated in the dining room; we were the only two customers in the sit down area. We were treated as royalty and Rosie was one of the best servers I have ever had. The meal was delicious! We both had a linguini with shrimp, spinach and artichokes. Light and refreshing. I will certainly go again and will tell my friends how great it was. This is new management since two months ago. I hope they make it. Wonderful does not say enough! read more

Noisy dining area, the place has the acoustics of a warehouse. Some cool decor to check out though. Had the surf and turf salad, it was surprisingly good! Draft beer selection was disappointing unless you're looking for "the usual suspects" that you can find at any Chili's or Applebee's. Nice place! We stopped mainly for drinks and appetizers, and we enjoyed it a lot! The artichoke dip was terrific, as were the sliders and nachos. The mac and cheese bites were delicious! Skip the chicken tacos, however. They needed more flavor. Drinks came promptly and we got great service. The atmosphere was pretty low key, if they had happy hour specials you wouldn't know because the waitress did mention them at all. I like this place. They have the best patio in the area and the bar area is cozy. Great place to watch a game. I don't really come here for the food as it is pretty average bar food. I had lunch and it was very disappointing. I ordered fried chicken for $16.00 and what I received was a chicken that died of starvation, some watery mashed potatoes and bland coleslaw. There was one other person in the whole place who already had his food and I still waited over 30 minutes for my meal to arrive. With 2 beers my bill came to $27.00. What a ripoff! I've heard good things about Lyme Bar so me and a couple friends decided to check it out. Firstly the service. Sub par at best. My friend ordered a beer with a cold glass, his girlfriend a soda, and me a cocktail. They get their drinks then a couple minutes later I get mine. Ok no big deal but my buddy didn't get his cold glass. We proceed to order the food, I get the lobster Mac n cheese and my friends get the philly steak and shrimp lettuce rolls. He orders the philly without mushrooms. I ask if i can have a soup instead of a salad with my meal. Waitress says yes. However long later she brings out the philly steak and shrimp rolls and has to make yet a second trip for my lobster Mac which for $20 is quite small. Just a casserole dish of Mac n cheese with some lobster meat. I get lobster is expensive but macaroni is a buck, should've given a healthier portion of the Mac n cheese itself. And there wasn't much steak to my friends grinder either. But anyways....Great, it's here. Time to eat. But no silverware! We ask for it and she proceeds to check on her other table. It takes a good 5 minutes to finally get the silverware. Like how is that not the first thing you run and grab so your table can enjoy their meal. I was gonna get another round but I was rather annoyed so we paid and left. And the kicker, paid $35 for a little casserole dish and a cocktail and she never brought my soup and rolls. Very disappointed considering hearing so many good things. Service was slow and not very attentive and the girl had no personality. read more

Good food but lousy dining experience. Got stuck with the vanishing, non-attentive waitress. The other waitresses, however, appeared to be pulling their weight. And then they overcharged on the bill. Got that corrected but nothing one can do about a place that doesn't give free refills on soft drinks like most places do. If you go there, keep a sharp eye out for what the menu prices are and what your bill states. And hopefully you'll get one of the good waitresses. As for me, I probably will never return based on this one experience. There are plenty of other good local places. read more

I was thrilled to see a new casual restaurant in such a lovely spot. The outdoor seating is so refreshing in the warmer weather. Also, who doesn't want a nice selection of wine and beer. I was very disappointed in the service. We sat inside and although the restaurant wasn't full, our waitress took forever to take our order, deliver our drinks and finally, deliver our food. When the food did come, the kids' chicken and fries were adequate. My Hublein salad was saturated with dressing and they forgot the grilled chicken. When I asked the waitress for the chicken, she stormed off and returned with something that resembled jerkey. I rarely return food, but that "grilled" chicken was not edible and when my husband could hear me chew it, we knew that was a bad sign. She was rude and told me that it was the same chicken used to make the kids' breaded and fried tenders. Unfortunately, they were prepared differently. My husband was also unimpressed with his burger. Given the service and the food, I would never return... Not even for the draft beer. read more

This place has lots of potential........and that's it. Service is absent and borders on rude when I finally caught someone's attention. I sat at the bar while I waited for my wife and friends. It took 15 minutes to get a beer.......ONE beer. Everyone aside from the cooks were hanging out on the side of the bar talking to a few regulars I assume that were served MULTIPLE rounds ahead of my single beer. Bad start. When everyone got in we decided to sat at the high tops near the bar. Again, no service. NONE. The bartender glanced at us and went on his way talking up a storm. I walked over and asked if we should order from him and he responded with something in the way of " well, if you want something to eat you do." So we ordered from the bartender and returned to our table. The place had a dozen people at the most in it, none of whom were eating. It took 45 minutes for 2 burgers and 2 salads. The burgers were forgettable, basic bar food if you know what I mean. From what I could tell the salads were average as well. I really want to like this place. If they step up the service a little I bet the food will taste better. It's a bar in the valley and I'm sure I'll go again, just with a full stomach. read more

I have been here a couple times, it's great in the summer there's a wonderful patio and the bar isn't bad either, reminds me of a usual sports bar. They have a great selection of food and serve until late which I love since no where else in the area really offers that. However the past few times I've gone it seems like the food quality had gone down. The pulled pork Mac and cheese was my favorite but they have changed the cheese sauce and it's just not as good anymore. The reason why I give only 2 stars is that the service is also a bit lacking, the last time we were there the guy that was there did get us our drinks in a timely manner but afterwards stood at the corner of the bar talking to only the people there which he must have known. While we waited to be asked if we wanted another drink we saw him take a few shots with the people he was talking to and also with someone who appeared to be a manager since he kept going behind the bar but was not in a uniform. I have worked in the industry a few years ago and to me it just seemed a bit unprofessional however maybe working in a bar is different than a restaurant. Anyway we can't wait until spring when the patio is open once again and we can sit outside and enjoy the view read more
