The Mac on 99E in Tigard!

First time ordering food at The Mac was great! The Service was amazing, the owner recommended me the 9pc wings with Mac! Man! The Mac was so cheesy and creamy and them wings!!! Crunchy and flavorful! I highly recommend this joint!

Finally stopped here after driving past every day! The online order ahead is very easy to navigate. Service was great, amazing flavors and the chicken was smoked to perfection. Support local & eat here!

Brought the family by to pick up some takeout for lunch and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the portions were substantial. The popcorn chicken was super crunchy but most and perfectly balanced. The Mac was as good as it gets in my opinion. We collectively ate only about half of the food and we were all stuffed. The guys working were super friendly... good vibes all around.Highly recommend!!!

Had the Bacon Mac and it was so good!

Tried the Mac and even through it was a little pricy, it was really good! My son had the chicken sandwich and it was a huge piece of meat. My husband ordered a double burger plain and it was outstanding and impressive. I ordered the Mac with bacon and I intended to only eat half but I couldn't stop. It was creamy and super good. We will definitely have it again! There isn't any outdoor seating so we ate in our car. The employees also were kind enough to bring the food out to the car since it was a 15 minute wait, which was nice.

You must try out the Mac! Guy who runs the truck rocks and the food would be my death row meal if it came down to it!!!

It looks better than it tastes. I wouldn't mind the expense if it tasted as good as it looked. The person working the cart was difficult and disinterested in helping me until I added lobster tails. Then it was like a switch went on and he was suddenly nice. Nice idea, nice presentation, but missed out on flavor.

I decided to give them a try since I drive past so often. There is always someone there byung so I figured the all those people couldn't be wrong. I was right!! The chicken was some of the best smoked chicken I have ever had in my life. The smoke flavor was deep. into the meat! Every bite tasted as good as the first. It's takes great skill to smoke low and slow, and especially on a fire. These guys rocked it! The macaroni was smoked and flavory. I think the macaroni had some gouda cheese in it with other cheeses. I'm not 100% sure. It was in the top 5 macs I've had in my life. These guys are doing wonders with their smoker! I vote give them a try!

So I'm just here to say that the Mac n' cheese here is life changing lol, the popcorn chicken was perfectly crispy, juicy, a perfect complement to the creamy mac (with bread crumbs and jalapeños). Yep, I can't ever go back to eating mediocre Mac n cheese this was way too good (and the portion size is humongous)! It's a bit pricey, but like anything in life you get what you pay for and damn this was totally worth it!!!!! Also the employee working at the food truck was very friendly and genial! Will come back again and bring family/friends.

The OG mac with bacon and a fried egg. You're welcome

I trekked here on Juneteenth as an attempt to support a Black business. I was so happy that I did! Although the wait was quite long, I imagine me going right at dinner time and on Juneteenth when others may have been thinking the same thing as I might have impacted the wait time. I don't know enough to speak on regular wait times. Let me speak on what I can speak on though, and that is the fact that this was one of the best Mac & cheese I've had in my three decades on this earth. Highly recommend the OG mac with bacon and fried egg as extras. Shout out to whoever's review had suggested this. The combination of whatever cheeses they used were very flavorful. I had hoped to try the smoked chicken and spuds, unfortunately they were sold out. The fried chicken was however a good alternative- moist on the inside, crispy on the outside. Would definitely come again to try the rest of the menu.

Three thighs. OG Mac and Cheese and Ruby red squirt.

So apparently the sliders are out which was my favorite part. However 99 traffic has reenergized my love of the fried chicken thighs. Every other time I get them I'm in a hurry so they are flaking hot. However this time after a good 30 minute rest home they were perfect. Hard for me to turn these down

Superb Mac and cheese and great smoked chicken combined with it. My only complaint is there is no seating whatsoever so if you don't have a car you're kinda screwed. The employee was super nice and welcoming. Great place I will be returning to try the other items/house made lemonade.

OG Mac and Cheese with popcorn chicken. Side of Buffalo sauce.

It's black-owned restaurant week, so I ordered online and headed over. The Mac and cheese features smoked Gouda, Parmesan, and sharp cheddar. You can order it with something like 27 additions--I chose popcorn chicken. The chicken was crispy and perfectly cooked. I added Buffalo sauce (ordered on the side) as I ate it--a little on the Mac and a little on the chicken! The portions were HUGE and I am stuffed--with plenty leftover for another meal or two. I ordered online and my food was ready as promised (and exactly as requested). It was well-packaged and the friendly guy there provided napkins and a fork. I'll be back!

This place serves up some legit comfort food in a new 2 food cart pod on 99w. We got 3 sliders. The OG, fried chicken, and smoked chicken and Mac and cheese. The fried chicken is made to order so you get the freshest. It was perfectly crunchy and flavorful. Topped with BBQ and pickles. Perfect! The smoked chicken was chock full of smoky meat, cheese, and an onion ring. The OG was filled with Mac and cheese. Seriously who knew Mac and cheese on a bun is the comfort food you never knew you needed. It's amazing. The Mac and cheese was perfectly al dente with a chew in creamy sauce flecked with pepper. So good! The folks here are also super nice. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Smoked spuds with chicken drippings? Count me in!

Can Hapa Howie move into your food cart pod?

When we went earlier this evening, no employees were seen wearing masks. Is this a typical practice?

They didn't have masks on when I went today. They were very rude too.

We had our little dog with us so I was happy to see they had a dog friendly patio. It was a warm day and the staff immediately brought her out a bowl of water, which was a thoughtful gesture and shows the level of service they offer to their patrons. Our server, I believe her name was Casey, was lovely. She was friendly and seemed to know a lot of the regulars by name which gave the restaurant a welcoming feel. I ordered the Danish pancakes (Æbleskiver), and they were absolutely delicious. They came with house-made lemon curd and lingonberry jam, and both were incredible. The lemon curd was rich and creamy with just the right amount of tartness, while the lingonberry jam added a sweet-tart flavor that paired perfectly with the fluffy pancakes. Four of them were more than enough to fill me up. My husband ordered the Pytt i Panna, a traditional Swedish hash made with crispy potatoes, bell peppers, and onions, topped with two soft-baked eggs and served with pickled beets and Nordic rye toast. It was hearty, comforting, and full of flavor. The pickled beets were a nice contrast to the savory hash, and everything on the plate was scrumptious! Between the delicious food, welcoming service, and dog-friendly patio, we had a very nice time and it was a good send-off before our walk through the woods to find Ole Bolle. I'd happily come back the next time I'm in the area.

We came early for the Old Bolle Troll (can visit anytime during…read moredaylight hours) and then came back Broder Soder for brunch at 8AM (Saturday) - no wait upon opening despite having a group of 6. We started with the cardamom latte (rich and nutty) and the matcha marzipan (sweet and with enough aromatic almond flavor) and then proceeded to feast. We started with the Danish pancake donuts- lovely in that they were both savory and sweet, comes with lemon curd and jam. The lefse breakfast was really interesting - a layered thicker 'crepe' with cheese and egg. The fish plate was our family favorite - an epic collection of shrimp, mini shrimps, gravlax, pickled herring (our favorite) various breads, crackers and sauces. Very well presented, fun to eat, and enough to share. We also ordered the Swedish meatballs - rich hearty but small and few (5 total). Luckily, we had plenty of other food and this dish was great with sherry mushroom sauce and a delicious potato latke-like side. Our server was also incredibly personable, friendly, and helpful in our food choices which we always appreciate.

To be honest, when our plans to go bowling and have lunch at Big Al's today fell through because…read morethey didn't open till 3, but we still wanted to eat (and hadn't had breakfast yet at 1:30), I tried every option I could think of to not go to Bannings. When we moved to Oregon, it was under construction but we kept hearing how good it was - in fact, all the local FB pages would gush about it when a newcomer would ask about the best restaurant. And once it finally opened, we tried it, but it was kind of like Marie calendars and Shari's, but local. Ok, but not what we had expected for all the hype. So, after trying a handful of options it seemed Bannings was the only place we could still get breakfast so I begrudgingly agreed. Well, I was mistaken! I got the breakfast enchiladas and a strawberry orange mimosa. Now, the mimosa - I'll get that out of the way first. It was weird - it looked curdled. It just had mashed strawberry at the bottom and it actually was quite good. I'd do a normal mimosa in the future, but good. But the enchiladas - delicious. Like, I'll come back again and again for those. And they didn't charge me extra for the avocado, which I think is righteous because I asked for no hash browns. But not all places would do that, they'd nickel and dime even if you passed on one side for another. Additionally; my husband likes a savory breakfast and a sweet one too - so he often gets two breakfasts and though he may not eat all of both he gets that savory and sweet. Well, the omelettes come with 3 pancakes. Perfection. And, I took 3 bites of them - I usually might try 1 or not at all - they are very very good. Last - it did not break the bank. I've about ruled out breakfast out because of how crazy expensive the places that should be reasonable are. This was reasonable - PLEASE DONT CHANGE!! All in all 5 stars, will be back for breakfast; and hey - when I'm wrong I can admit I was wrong! Give them a try if you haven't!

She also had a can of Vortex and it was cold and fresh. To me, the best part was the requested tartar sauce for the french fries. I tasted a hint of tarragon and it was so good. We did not have any pie as we were full. I just feel that 18.25 and 18.95 +2.00 for black bean is too expensive. $20.95 is just too high for a taco salad. Megan was also excellent as our server. Whether you're a solo diner or with family, the layout is excellent--I love the cozy 2-person side tables when I'm by myself, and they have great booth seating for groups. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and very welcoming. During my recent stay in Tigard, I enjoyed: * Spicy Wild Shrimp Pomodoro: Perfectly seasoned and delicious. * Penne Bolognese & Chicken Meatballs: They offer gluten-free penne, which is a huge plus! The texture and flavor were spot on. * Cilantro Lime Salad & Roma Tomato Basil Soup: A fresh, comforting, and reliable choice. * Hot Mint Tea: The perfect way to round out the meal. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly and professional--the kind of service that makes you want to leave a generous tip and keep coming back. ### A few tips for your visit: Beat the Crowd: It gets very busy during weekend lunch hours, and takeout orders can take some time. If you're like me and prefer not to wait, order online in advance! It's a major time-saver. Parking: Since it's located at Washington Square Mall, there is plenty of parking available, though it fills up fast on weekends. Highly recommended for a high-quality, reliable, and friendly dining experience!

My friend has been raving about eating here and how kid friendly it is and I couldn't agree more! It was a busy Saturday lunch time but the line went quickly since you order at the counter and seat yourselves. However, there is still table service that will bring you drinks and the food even though you pay at the counter beforehand. This was such an interesting model but we had phenomenal service (even with a big group and multiple kids at our tables) so I only wished I knew how this worked ahead of time. Now, the food options fit onto one menu pamphlet but it had a variety of choices for everyone including salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, seafood and an amazing kids menu filled with salmon, chicken, and pastas. I thoroughly enjoyed my crispy toasted Santa Fe Chicken Panini with side of homemade chips (but in hindsight the side salad would have been the perfect balance to this rich sandwich) I got my toddler the salmon kids meal which came with juice or milk and potatoes and green beans with a side of fruit of strawberries, orange slice and grapes. But honestly the BEST part of the meal was the table warm bread rolls with this indulgent and fluffy sauce garlic Parmesan butter. Wow that was definitely the highlight of the meal and probably their secret weapon?! The dining room is inside the mall and there were seating by the windows overlooking people walking under on the first floor. But I have heard other Nordstrom Cafes that actually have fantastic views so I know it's location-dependent. Either way, I was so impressed by the quality of food and service here and I'm looking forward to coming back again soon!
