Love coming here for Indian food. They could be short staff and busy at times but nothing bad. I've been here more than 3'times already. And the food quality seems to always be good. The garlic naan keeps me coming back. And butter chicken. The ambience is nice they have a big bar area if you dine solo. The restaurant has lots of tables and love that they are big to fit all the food. The drinks are always good and could be a little strong at times but overall a great place to have dinner

Loved the food here. Curry bowls are flavorful and plenty. There's also a full bar! The mango curry bowl was a bit too sweet for my taste but the lamb tikka masala one was outstanding. Waiter asked for spicy levels 1-5. I went with a 5 and didn't regret it. Just the right level I prefer. Definitely recommend especially on a cold day!

This photo was taken by myself on a visit to India - this is all curry grown in that country

So I asked for a yellow or green curry. This is yellow curry- anybody anybody anywhere see any yellow in this ? . Service is ok , ambiance - no change' Here's a game changer for you

Butter chicken poutine, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan - so good!!

Really tasty Indian food. Naanchos are the best! Prawn wraps are excellent as well.

The food was good and service Excellent. They may not have enough traffic to keep the kegs fresh though. Beer was a bit flat.

Do you have any keto friendly options?

I would recommend the grilled entree and just order all salad on the side (it's usually served with both rice and a salad). The main salads are also excellent, and they have really good portions. The Indian kitchen salad with lemon vinaigrette is… Read more

We ate at the Athol location (they also have locations in Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint), and after this experience, we'll definitely be back. The service was AMAZING. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and they answered all of our questions without making us feel rushed. We ordered the Tandoori Chicken (even my picky eater loved it!), Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo, and Shrimp Coconut Curry -- which was our absolute favorite. Every entrée came with rice, and we also got Garlic Naan, Lachha Paratha, and Bhature (fried bread). The Bhature was so good we ordered a second round. If you're sensitive to spice like me, I'd suggest mild. My husband loves spice and ordered medium, which was a little more than I could handle... but it was so good I powered through anyway For dessert we tried the Mango Rice and Gulab Jamun, and both were delicious. The Mango Rice wasn't what we expected (we were thinking more like Thai mango sticky rice), but it was still really good. There was also a little game room area that my husband and kids loved with a pool table, air hockey, and foosball, which made the whole experience even more fun. Athol doesn't have a lot of later dinner/takeout options, so this is definitely becoming our new go-to spot. I'm honestly sad I didn't take pictures because I wasn't expecting to be this amazed... and again, I NEVER leave reviews

To start we booked a reservation so we could arrive during a time that worked for us. When we arrived at our reservation time we were instantly greeted by Jacob. He was friendly, warm, and really helpful with explaining the menu. The restaurant inside was intimate, but they shared they also had a patio. We had researched the menu before our reservation so we knew exactly what we wanted. We ordered the Pollo Asado, the Mango Chicken Enchiladas, and the Curry Rip and Dip for appetizer. To start, the Curry Rip and Dip was OUTSTANDING!!! The curry was rich, creamy, and had a hint of sweetness. The flaky flatbread parathas were were light, buttery, and paired well with the curry dip. I wish there was a dish that was bathed in this curry sauce. So good. The Pollo Asado was freshly grilled and came with a fresh corn salad and a bright cilantro sauce. The rice was fluffy and the lime brought everything to life! The Mango Enchiladas were saucy and filled with chicken. The cabbage slaw provides freshness and crunch, and the plate came with a generous helping. This was such a great experience overal. We cant wait to come back and try other items, but we will be sure to always order the Curry Rip and Dip!

Cocktails: Great! Very strong, fairly unique menu Food: Mango enchiladas: I tried some of my friend's and I really enjoyed, I think if I went back I would order that! Pollo Asado: the rice was perfect, I wanted the chicken to maybe have a little more seasoning or a dash of salt but it was really really good! Cooked well. Corn was good. Curry rip and dip: dare I say just okay? I wanted to love, and I do love the concept but something didn't work for me personally. I think I was envisioning a much more smoother curry, and it's more chunkier. I ate it all but probably wouldn't order again. I loved the paratha! Three amigos: the queso stole the show! I especially enjoyed the pico and the guac personally and found the guac to be exactly what I was expecting and the pico to be a tasty twist on a favorite of mine. Overall: great! Really cool restaurant menu concept, some of the dishes I really loved and I left full and very pleased with my experience
