The parking lot is quite spacious, but the plaza only offers paid parking, however you can get your parking validated with purchase at any store in the plaza with proof of parking ticket. The store itself was clean, rather spacious, and well organized with clearly labeled aisles and pricing. I found that you could get many of the staple items at nearby competitors for nearly half the price. I thought they offered unique products in the meals to go section for a reasonable price point. I would recommend the mini snackle boxes and raw pressed juices. Those could actually be useful for a nearby beach trip and I liked that they use glass jars. The woman running the cafe section of the store was very hospitable, but as other Yelpers have mentioned some of the other store associates were less than enthused. I kind of get it though, Newport's upper echelon isn't the easiest clientele to interact with so I would probably get a little stoic over time as well.

That's the price for a 1.75 liter bottle. Hubby said, Get it. We are on vacay. So, I bought it. I drank most of 1 bottle on the cruise ship in our room and the other bottle went home. When I got home, I was able to order 2 more bottles of Myer's same size and have them delivered. The price was $18 each. This place gets 4 stars because they had what I wanted and the man that got them off the top shelf was very polite. If the price was better, Rex Liquors would have received 5 stars. They had jellybeans, gummies, chocolate, swedish fish and classic caramels and taffies. My son filled a pretty sizeable bag of goodies and it came out to less than $10. The owner was also very knowledgeable about the history of south county as a long term resident of the area whose family had lived there since the 1600's. It definitely felt like walking back in time to a historic piece of Rhode Island. Stop by if you're in the area and ask the owner for some stories while picking up sweets!
