They were extremely helpful when it comes to the menu making sure to answer any questions we hand and include where the meats are sourced from. That being said, we did come in on a busy Friday night, and it took about 20 mins for our food to come out. On to the food itself, husband got the Chicken Bacon Ranch it was flavorful and PACKED with bacon. I had the carne asada habanero, green chile chicken and brisket taco flatbreads. All the meats were juicy and actually had a nice kick of spice to them. I would definitely go back and try some of the other options like the duck or nachos next time. read more

I've driven by this place many times and thought it was just a catering place based on the big signs. But there's a smaller sign in the middle that says "The Meat Wagon" and we realized this was a place where you can stop and eat. I ordered the cauliflower appetizer and a fish taco. Both were good. But I did like the Brussel sprouts better. My friends said their chicken sandwiches and fried pickles were good. Service was friendly. You order at the counter and they come bring your food out to your table. They were nice. Great place for a casual lunch with yummy food. This is long overdue, after 3 amazing visits, I could not think of a better place to end my day on Valentine's Day then with the sweetest worker at the Meat Wagon. I want to start off that we came in at 8:30- 30 mins before closing and the owner took her time, showed us so much love and treated us with the best customer service I've ever had. The ambiance as we walk in is welcoming and psychadelic. When we come its always empty and can NEVER understand why. This place needs more support from the community, maybe a Keith Lee visit. They also recently had two break in's costing 1000s of dollars. So please come out! Now I still give my honest opinion and here it is. Over the course of 3 visits here is what we've tried: Apps: 1. Crispy Brussel Sprouts: These are nice and crunchy. The sauce did fall to the bottom due to it being a take out order so some of it got soggy. But the sauce is sweet and spicy which was a nice kick. 2. Rocket Fries: holy fries, these potatoes could not get any better. The garlic and seasoning are out of this world, and they stay crispy. 3. Potato Chips: house made and you can tell. It has a smokey seasoning and nice crunch Entrees: 1. Conspiracy of the Day: this changes everyday but I've had a few -Cuban: Im a huge fan of cubans, however the mustard wasn't super prominent, but the MEAT- shined. -Smoked Tri Tip: you have to watch the instagram for when this meat option is available. It's rare but worth the wait and worth a try. The meat texture is great and the smokiness is complimentary 2. Smoked Brisket and Bacon: oh my brisket. This brisket is some of the best I've ever had. Absolutely worth a try and the BBQ sauce is Chef's Kiss. 3. Spicy Thai Beef: My husband is not a spice person so the wonderful Ms Polly lowered the spice and it was still out of this world. Absolutely must get Tacos: These are smaller versions of the large entrees. 1. Duck: This duck is marinaded to perfection. Love the bite and love the lettuce crunch 2. Smoked Brisket: Smaller version of the above choice and its phenomenal. 3. Korean BBQ Beef: Any and all meat we've had from here is nothing but perfection. This does not fall short on the list and we opted for no slaw due to spice. Still incredible. Drinks: Freshly Made Daily (new flavors) 1. Strawberry w/Edible Glitter: the fresh strawberry you can taste. The glitter was like a cherry on top. 2. Passion Fruit: Truly a masterpiece; it is refreshing and the perfect amount of tartness. The balance of this drink was so good I couldn't stop until cup number 3. 3. Lychee: Can you believe Lychee in a lemonade. Well Ms Polly has perfected this combo. This one was one of a kind and my FAVORITE. Now overall this business needs the support of its community. Ms Polly and Chris have created such a welcoming and loving environment. With a 4.9 on Yelp my expectations were high. I ordered the Free Bird Sandwich as the person who took my order said that was their first sandwich that built the food truck business. When brought to my table, it certainly looked great. Then I took a bite... unfortunately, it felt very greasy and leaked oily substance (see pic) all over (the picture only captures a small amount of what was on the plate.) I would suggest you steer clear of this sandwich! The fries were seasoned fries and Not what is on their website video. I guess that works if you'd like seasoned fries. I haven't reviewed a restaurant in years through yelp but wanted to with how good some of this food was here. As some of have said, this restaurant is a gem. 6 items in two visits. Last visit came on 5/5/25 Crispy Brussel Sprouts 10/10 You won't find anything remotely this tasty on the strip. Garlic Butter/Parm basting does the trick dipping in spicy honey. Free Bird Sandwich 10/10 Crispy Chicken sandwich with slaw on perfectly portioned bun. You'll love it. Pay more here instead of the rip-off prices at Chick fil A. Bacon Truffle Smash Burger 9/10 The truffle does the job here. Pickles and mushrooms really pick up the pace with the burger too. I would say just a tad salty for my liking though. Loaded Carne Asada Fries 6.5/10 So just too much going on here. You basically don't taste anything unique with fries and it feels like it would be great after 6 beers. The quality of ingredients and portion size standout but its a yellow caution ordering this item. Rocket Fries 10/10. A must have because they are soaked in garlic & butter. Mysterio Cheesesteak 7/10. The green chile sauce and hot-sour tomatoes is solid combination here. read more

The last time I was here, which would have been in June of 2024, I only got the "polly bomb", which wasn't that great. I was somewhat close by after running some errands so I decided to stop here for an actual lunch. My experience was slightly better this time around. First, let's start off with how great the staff is. Similar to last time, everyone was really nice and helpful. This establishment recommends that you check out their social media for updates on some specials. Unfortunately, their IG hasn't been updated since 2024. They rely on their IG to show the week's Polly Bomb and "Conspiracy Theory Of The Day". And, their online menu does not match their in-store menu. Some items missing, some the same. Someone slacking on this? This led me to ordering something from the online menu, that wasn't offered in-store. BUT, they said they could still make it, which was the "Spicy Cow Pie" taco. I also ordered the "War Pig" taco. The gordita they use for their shells for these tacos was really good. I could probably eat those plain. The Cow Pie taco was really good. A lot of flavors. The War Pig was just ok, for me. Didn't really taste any Dr. Pepper on the beef. When I was almost finished, I had to look for the other ingredients. I didn't see or taste any cheese curds. And I had to look for the pineapple. There was some pineapple. Not sure why it took me to eat 90% of the taco to realize there were other ingredients. So, yeah, not a real big fan of this one. These tacos came with home made potato chips, not chips and salsa like their online menu states. These could have been excellent, if they were all cooked thoroughly. They were still good, though, especially when dipped in the Fatboy sauce. Since I did dine on-site, I got a fountain, to which I got to sample a few of their homemade lemonades. I got to try too. The cherry and the blood orange. I liked the blood orange one better. It is nice to see other beverage options than soda, without an upcharge. And, to go, I gave their "Polly Bomb" another try. This time it was red velvet. Another example of great customer service, I was just going to grab one out of the fridge on my way, which I was told to do. But, they had one bagged and ready to go for me. This was totally unexpected, but still a great thought. The packaging was different than last time, which was for the better. And I think this flavor was a little better than the last. The real flavors of the tiramisu were there. Again, the biggest "confusion" is why their online menus and social media have not been updated, if they emphasize their online presence. read more

It's actually crazy that I never even reviewed this place and it's been a favorite since my first visit! I believe it was at 5 stars when I went so I just had to try, when I tell you that they deserve every bit of those five stars! The food is always delicious with quality ingredients. Always a different conspiracy theory and rotate their Polly bombs often so you can try something new each time you come really. The homemade lemonades are pretty and sweet but good! More importantly than the amazing food is the the service!! They are always so kind and I just feel like these are people who are passionate about what they do and it translates well. The same time we were walking in another family was walking in who was also celebrating a birthday. Everyone found this place on yelp, walk up and order your food and enjoy the amazing customer service spin the wheel and find out what you've won lots and lots you may win we enjoy the decor and wall art, and every single little thing that they used to design the inside of this restaurant I've passed by this place way too many times and I'm so glad my son picked it out. It's right next to the bank in an amazing location with an abundance of parking wheelchair accessibletons of drinks to choose from from fresh drinks that they make in house to Mexican bottled sodas to fountain drinks the menu has a large variety from sandwiches, burgers, tacos, veggies loaded fries we ordered the mother clucker, crispy brussels sprouts chicken, and waffles and the bacon truffle smash burger I can tell you that the smash burger was mine and it was amazing and my husband and son stole half of my sandwich which was not a problem because the portions are very generous. When we pulled up I said I've been here before but it's a different restaurant! The Meat Wagon is totally awesome! You'll find them in Canyon Plaza on Sahara and Buffalo, next to Chili Bar & Grill. There's good parking available. Interior is spacious with plenty of seating for a table, booth, or banquette. The place has a fun and inviting vibe, there's a creative wall mural disguised as a walk-in fridge, they have a collection of entertaining books, an arcade game, and they play really good music to liven the atmosphere. Menu offers a nice selection of tacos, sandwiches, burger, chicken and waffles, and desserts. Ordering is placed with payment, and the food is freshly made and delivered to the table. Crispy Brussel Sprouts ($8) is very good! It's tossed in garlic truffle butter and aged parmesan with spicy honey Sriracha drizzle. Spud-Nick ($16) is a huge serving of crispy coated rocket fries with fresh chips, tossed in garlic butter and generous toppings of crispy Korean beef, street corn, Oaxaca cheese, and fresh guacamole, so good! Truffle Garlic Mushroom ($6) is incredibly delicious! It's homemade flatbread taco with grilled portobello mushroom, Brie cheese, spicy raspberry, lettuce and cheese, served with fresh chips and salsa, or sub fries (+$1). The flavorful grilled portobello mushroom is marinated in Korean BBQ sauce, garlic butter, and melted cheese, and is wonderful with spicy raspberry sauce, Yum! Taco also came with a good Boom Boom chipotle ranch sauce, and they have an assortment of yummy sauces. The spicy raspberry sauce is superb and complements remarkably with any taco, crunchy chips, and crispy fries. They make excellent Rocket Fries ($6) which are served golden crispy and has an aioli blend of ketchup, mayo, garlic, and special seasoning. For beverage, I love the unlimited refill on lemonade and fountain drinks ($3) which is awesome. Guava lemonade, Sweetened Peach Tea, and Watermelon lemonade are all refreshing! Service from the owners Pollyanna and Chris is exceptional and fantastic! Both are very kind, helpful, knowledgeable, efficient, welcoming, and friendly. They initially began as a food truck two years ago on March 1, 2022. The following year, they found this great location to start a restaurant which opened on October 21, 2023. Pollyanna and Chris work with independent farms and ranches. All proteins are unvaccinated, there's no GMO, and no force feeding. When we first walked in we were greeted by everyone on the staff as they came around. Not in an obnoxious manner, just friendly and welcoming. We arrived ahead of the rest of party and were told that was no problem, to just pick a seat and get a tea, lemonade or fountain drink while we waited. Our first time here because we were in the area. Even though it's almost 40 min away from my house, I would come back. Ambiance - chill. Grab a menu, find a seat, and order at the cash register. The space between each table was pretty spacious - we were able to park our stroller next to our table with enough space to walk between another table. My daughter has a lot of allergies and they made sure her fries were not cross contaminated with any eggs or peanuts. Decided to try The meat Wagon on the recommendation of a family member. My wife and I arrived at 12 noon and most of the tables were occupied. (A Good Sign). We were greeted by Chris who suggested getting a table and he would bring us the menu. There are several choices of seating, low and high top tables, booths and half booths. I ordered at the counter and the food was brought to us. We ordered the following Green Chile Chicken Taco which is served on a gorditas with chips and a dipping sauce. The taco was tasty and juicy. Ale battered Onion Rings served with potato chips and a BBQ ranch sauce. Nice crunch on the onion rings. Crispy Brussel Sprouts sliced and tossed with garlic, truffle butter and parmesan cheese with a spicy honey drizzle on the side. Crisp sprouts and the honey sauce had the perfect amount of heat. The Onion Rings and Brussel Sprouts are served in Toilet Bowl shaped containers. Very original. Both sides are large enough to share. The restaurant is bright and nicely decorated with entertaining art. Guys check out the stuff in the men's Room. We ordered food from here last night. We had the Brussel sprouts which had so much flavor and the outside was nice and crispy the way we like it. We also got the wings with fries, we tried the buffalo and mango habanero. Both were tasty and not drenched in sauce which is how we prefer it. The fries were crispy and were salted to perfection. We also had the flatbread philly cheesesteak - if you try this place then this is a must try!! It was the best philly cheesesteak we have ever had, it had so much flavor. This is a review for their food truck, I have yet to go to their brick and mortar. They come around every now and then to a bar I enjoy, and every time they're there it's a MUST go for food. They're pretty quick with their orders and the person working the truck is always friendly. Prices are good for the size and quality. QUALITY!! The quality is great!! Vegas doesn't have a big food truck culture here and I wish it did because I really think some of the places here knock it out of the park. The little Hawaiian sliders that they have, SLAP. I also love that they have veggie options because even though the greasy stuff is great for when you're out drinking, it's still nice to eat some good greens. The Brussel sprouts are fantastic. Haven't been to the main location YET, but having the truck just give me a little taste of what they have to offer, I know the brick and mortar location has gotta be great. Nice little unassuming spot on West Sahara with a funky vibe inside. My daughter and I placed our order and sat at a really comfortable high top table. The staff here seems genuinely happy to be here including the guy who I think is the owner. He had a hat on with a salt and pepper goatee. I would love to gatekeep this place and not tell anyone about it, but they deserve the praise. We started out with the Crispy Brussels Sprouts and we smashed them. That's why there's no pic because we demolished them as soon as they hit the table. Sooo good. I had the Freebird and she had the Spicy Burrata Chicken on flat read. Both were crispy and juicy. The Freebird had pickles and a balsamic slaw that cut through the richness and fattyness of the chicken. Same for the Burrata Chicken the heat offset the chicken and the cheese perfectly. Crispy garlic fries accompanied both. 10 out of 10 for the food. The only thing I would suggest is maybe hand out numbers with orders so the staff knows where they're going with the food. Prices are expected, not too expensive and not too affordable but just right for this type of food. The food was absolutely amazing! The brussel sprouts are served in a toilet bowl and I got such a kick out of it - such a fun touch! The fries served on the side are amazing and the fry sauce is also good! I had 0 negative things to say about this place. The inside has plenty of seats and even a small book "store." The bathrooms are clean and have funny signage all over. Good food, good service, clean! Our cashier/server Nadia was super sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. We asked for recommendations and she was quick to offer alternatives when we asked for no spicy. Fantastic service and she deserves all the recognition. 5 stars for her alone!
